The food isn’t half bad, fairly large portions. I was only displeased with the service and the ambiance. The man who took our order wasn’t very friendly, but I think that was just his personality. The place didn’t seem too clean either. I am still satisfied with my meal, so if your hungry it’s a good place to go to fill up.

Love it here. The Veggie Burger is a must try but everything is always well portioned and delicious. The staff is also amazing. Glen, Josh, and the whole team always greet you with a hello and a smile.

The people here are always so friendly and professional. I wish that they took cards on orders less than $ 10.

I was really excited that this place opened across my apartment given how convenient it would be. I gave it a few chances but would rather walk a few blocks than come back. First instance(which is when I should have stopped coming) was when they served me turkey burgers that were really pink… I mean really PINK. I love medium rare beef burgers but im sorry turkey should be thoroughly cooked. I took them back since its so close and they finished cooking them but thats ridiculous. The next issue was when we wanted something from the lunch menu. It was 11:40 and I was rudely told I cant order lunch items until noon. Next, for an omlet wrap, for some reason the«cook» couldn’t make it with no wrap or the wrap on the side? Does that mean that they are just premade and warmed up? Finally, the service is always insanely slow even for a single cup of coffee. I get it if there’s a ton of customers but 2 – 3 customers shouldnt be that overwhelming. I will stick to my regular coffee/breakfast place thats only a block away which has better food and service. I want to like this place and support it but theres too many issues.

Solid experience every time… Good coffee, yummi baked goods and a good restaurant menu too. I especially love that they’re open EARLY on the weekends! They are also kid friendly.

I wasn’t crazy about the original location. But now this new one has opened up across the street from me. So it’s very convenient. The space itself is amazing. But the quality of the food is inconsistent. And the menu is very plain. They’ve been open for over 3 months now And just can’t seem to get it together. I don’t want to see this establishment go out of business because it’s an asset to the neighborhood. So please step up your menu and your food offerings

Friendly service. Freshly brewed tea, delicious. Had the daily special — New England Clam Chowder that was on the chalk board. Very disgusted to bite in to a thick gelatinous chunk of bacon inside. I don’t eat pork, I wish they had noted that it was filled with creepy, soggy bacon. Tried picking it out but got too grossed out along the way. I tossed more than half of it away. If I return I will stay away from the chalkboard specials for sure.

This review is for the soft opening — free coffee and discounted baked goods all weekend. Had a delicious almond croissant and molasses ginger cookie along with my coffee. We frequent the Beechwood Café on Grove for coffee and brunch and welcome the new addition to the unincorporated corner of JC(Paulus Vorst?) we call home. Will be back for a full review once the whole menu is available soon!
