Probably the worst diner I’ve ever been too. The food simply isn’t good. They’re always empty, and have crappy service.
They’re in prime location, and should be doing very well. The other night I drove by and they were completely closed, no lights on at all. Perhaps for the holidays? More likely, they couldn’t afford to stay open.

The place to go for a BIG $ 4.00 BREAKFAST! Generous size specials during the week. My fave is «eggs over easy, bacon, grits, rye toast, orange juice and bottomless cups of coffee». Good service, all for just $ 4 bucks! You can’t beat it!

Eesh. As the other reviewers said you could make better food on your own. Avoid it if you can. Nothing special. Only thing I enjoyed was the coffee. You could probably get better food if you just walk over to one of the west side avenue corner stores and delis. Pretty sad. It’s a wonder this place is still around.

An excellent service and good amount of food that actually reasonable for the price. They make you feel like family once you get there.

I could do at home better the waitress was okay but was more people working then customers no I won’t come back

Most amazing Cheeseburgers… Service is great also. I definitely recommend this place…

This place is horrible… This is where hopes and dreams go to die.
But if you’re in the area and are starving literally everywhere is still better… Wendys, Taco Hell… Go to Pathmark and buy the $ 3 whole chicken and eat in the parking lot of this place… Yeh that would actually be fine dining by their standards.

Hilarious how bad this place is, even after getting new management. Maybe it’s cursed by the ghost of home fries burning…
But my boyfriend who I love and adore and who doesn’t live in JC wanted to stop here because he was so hungry and didn’t want fast food from Wendy’s (which would have been eons better, god) so we came. The place was empty as usual but our waitress arrived late (as usual). I ordered chicken soup, he ordered a pastrami sandwich and mozzarella sticks.
The marinara sauce had sugar instead of salt in it (eww) and I still laugh to this day at the look on BF’s face after seeing the Pastrami on wheat bread, accompanied by one lone mustard packet…
Suffice to say, he listens to my food recommendations now!

I like this place because it’s really inexpensive and pretty yummy. My favorite is their corn hash with eggs. Really big plate for such a small price. The people are very nice here, it’s just kind of small

First time experience but not a very good one. On a Sunday morning met here with some acquaintances to discuss some things. For a Sunday morning after church is was pretty empty. Others arrived before I did so I was seated right away with the others. Servers have no emotion at all, the gentleman just came over and stood next to me with a pad in his hand waiting for me to order something. I first asked for water and received a tiny cup with no straw, and with the way the cup looked there was no way I was drinking out of it without one. Food did take quite a bit, therefore there should be no reason why the chicken in my chicken quesadilla should of been uncooked, it felt as if i was chewing on rubber. My cheese fries didn’t seem to appealing either, literally fries with 2 slices of cheese thrown on top barely even melted. After waiting too long for the check so I can run out of there, that will be a first and last for my fiancé and I.

A very nice Diner, I go here quite often! The food is very good and plentiful. The waiters and waitress are very good! They make sure you enjoy your visit.

The worst cooks in the history of diners. Worst pancakes ever! Mushy in the middle horrible texture worst tasting cheap quality batter. Although the waitress was kind but I didn’t come here for the waitress. Never again! The sad thing is that I came here before and ordered a hamburger and that was the worst tasting burger as well. Lesson learned never again.
