The apartment I stayed in for the summer was literally right next to this laundromat, so it was incredibly convenient for me to wash my clothes here. This place can get pretty crowded on the weekends, so either go early or be prepared to wait if you want to use the cheaper washing machines. For the most part though, there are tons of washers and dryers in the building so you can usually get your laundry done expediently. Last time I went, the staff was playing a movie on the television so I had a rather enjoyable time waiting for my laundry to get done.

After living in the area for over a year, I can’t imagine going anywhere else for laundry. Honestly, the owners are the nicest people and seem to know everyone in the neighborhood! The machines have always been in good order, they offer same day drop off service, and they have plenty for you to watch or read and your clothes tumble around. I’m no sure what people are expecting these days when it comes to a laundromat that is causing the low reviews… but 367 Grove is a guaranteed win in my book.

3 strikes and you’re out. I’ve used the drop off service here for 2 years with not a single issue, then they changed owners. 2 times since then I have ended up with some other people’s clothes mixed in with mine in my bag, and the last and final time I came home with someone else’s clothes entirely and NONE of mine. Had to come back to get them with not even a slight apology. Thank god they still had them, but realized a few days later that ALL of my socks were missing. This was not an honest mistake. Since the new owners took over it’s become a very shady business. I know they mean well but they haven’t a clue how to run a laundromat. The fact that they are selling people’s clothes there is SCARY. They got rid of the ATM and now offer monster energy drinks and on-site computer repair? Enough with trying to get rich quick and please give your business to someone who can run it properly. In the meantime I’ll be taking my business to one of the other nicer, cleaner looking laundromats in the neighborhood.

IT is a cheap place to get your Laundry done. I have now washed a few months worth of clothes, probably spent a total of $ 28+.They are very nice. I cannot speak for the wash and fold, but they are very considerate.

I have to admit, I am not one to ever post a review on Unilocal. But I have to share my experience… this is the 5th(ANDLAST) time I drop off my dry cleaning… every single time they have always been later than usual. In this instance I dropped off shirts on Sunday, they said they would be ready Wednesday. Today is Friday, and lo behold once again my shirts are not there! Where are they? The owner’s wife says«they’re in the trunk of my husband’s car and he’s in Long Island.» first of all, they were supposed to be here 2 days ago, and why the heck are they in the trunk of a car? She said«we will deliver them to your home(I live a couple streets down) tonight»… it’s 9 pm they are closed and I still do not have my shirts that I need for tomorrow. WOW. I thought it might just be their dry cleaning service but their wash and fold service is just as bad. Learn to run a business and not overpromise to your customers. Being in the service industry I understand what you can tell your customers and how important it is to live up to what you promise; either they just don’t care enough or really need some tips on running a better laundromat and dry cleaning service. And if you screw up, the least you can do is take care of a part of the bill(which they have YET to do!) Enough is enough, I think giving them 5 shots and them screwing up every time is reason enough for anyone on here to approach with caution.

I was very quick on the draw to write a review on this place. Over time we have gotten to know the owners. They are the nicest people. Always asking how my wife is doing when she isn’t there with me. We chat about travel, and other things. They take great care in getting your wash just right when you bring it in for drop off service. Always making sure to ask if you have any special instructions. 99% of the time they offer same day service, which is awesome. When the owners are not there themselves there is a polite teenager(yes, they exist) that watches the shop for them. It is small, and popular… so it will be crowded at times. It will also be a bit cluttered at times, but as I said in the past they always have paper towels on hand for you to wipe down the folding tables… and they work hard to keep it clean themselves.

They get one star because they have same day pickup wash & fold service. That’s about all I can say about this place. When you call to ask a question, I hope you speak Spanish. If you speak English, more often than not, they just yell something at you and hang up… or just hang up. They don’t take credit, and they don’t have an ATM which is a pain. The clothes come out clean but don’t smell great or anything. Last time I picked up clothes from them something weird happened. I had a pair of boxers in the bag with black trim. When I got them back, the trim was brown. Now, I’ve washed these boxers dozens of times, drop off service, myself or otherwise, and I’ve never had a problem. I would say it was bleach, but none of my other clothes were affected? Weird. I’m more curious than upset.
