I came to visit Jerome and decided to hit up this place first — can’t go wrong with wine tasting before venturing out to a ghost town, right?! The employees here are so friendly. We tried so many wines, I lost count — nor do I remember the names of any of them. It was lots of fun — and the views are amazing! I highly recommend stopping by if you decide to visit Jerome. You won’t regret it!

When a friend of mine was suffering from an ailing heart(I.e. Heartbroken) the tasting room staff brought us a complimentary tapas plate with our purchase of wine. They encouraged us to enjoy a bottle in the downstairs lounge where we could enjoy the view and some privacy. I drive from Mesa to drink wine here and would highly recommend this venue to anyone who enjoys wine.

Really enjoyed my experience here. Sara picked out some great wines for us to each try and the views couldn’t be much better. Such a great time!

Bitter creek tasting room– beautiful views & unpretentious atmosphere. On our Sunday day trip, my husband and I dropped in around 2:30. I tried 4 wines: 2 whites &2 red blends. My hunny had a sangria and just sat back & relaxed. The woman at the counter was friendly & knowledgable. She explained a bit about each pour though the pace was a bit quick despite the fact I was the only one tasting at the time. The pours were light with not a drop extra beyond the automatic pourer.

Excellent stop. Enjoyed sangria, along with a wonderful cheese plate while overlooking the verde valley. Worth the stop for sure, very friendly staff!

Can’t beat the view from Bitter Creek! Grab yourself a bottle of wine/champagne and take a seat downstairs. We bought a bottle of the almond champagne and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly as well. A great afternoon spent wine tasting.

Nice 2 story tasting room and bar with the Best views in Jerome. The wines were surprisingly good and the pours were better then other tasting rooms. They also had a port tasting and they were very good.

I have been to this winery on several occasions and the wine just doesn’t do it for me. But my husband likes the wine and with the incredible views from the tasting room, I am always up for stopping in. The staff are friendly and it is a comfortable room to taste wine in. If you like sweets, try their honey wine!

We wandered in here at the end of our day trip to Jerome back in November. Great place with panoramic views of the Verde Valley from comfy couches. Brandon took great care of us. Try the sparkling almond wine… pretty tasty!

Bitter Creek had fantastic wines to match the fantastic views of Prescott Valley! The wine Steward was so friendly and informative. We took a tour through both whites & reds and saved the best for last… a yummy red blend(Top Hat) to go with a nice piece of dark chocolate :)

This place carries a lot of wine! There are a few labels they carry and they are all displayed across the back of the bar, which was a bit overwhelming for me. They are mostly(or maybe all) blends. The woman working there REALLY knew her wines and she had a wealth of knowledge about anything and everything wine related. She didn’t know what to do with people who did not enjoy the wines though as I do think that in her personal opinion, all the wines they carry are perfect. I would much prefer a person who encourages honesty about the wines. I didn’t love any single wine I tasted, but I didn’t hate them either. We did enjoy the sparkling almond wine. but I think this was mostly due to the fact that I had never tried it and it was novel to me. The tasting room is really nice and they have a spectacular view– their sitting area was actually the most impressive part of the tasting. If you enjoy their wines, buy a glass and enjoy the sitting room overlooking the lower areas of Jerome.

Three stars mostly for the superstar service by Bridget. She’s been at the tasting room both times I’ve visited, and she exemplifies excellent customer service. Couple that with her sincere passion for the wines she’s pouring, and you have a great employee. Unfortunately, the wines aren’t all that great. It’s hard to take them seriously with the cheesy, 80’s heavy metal artwork on the labels. Arizona does produce some very good wines, but the wines here aren’t meant for a serious wine drinker. Come here for the wonderful customer service experience and enjoy the nice view.

A nice wine tasting room with a really great view. Wines were exceptional. The art work on the bottles were really creepy I would never let one in my home. Four tastings ran me ten bucks and they didn’t give me a glass like some places. A little spendy for my taste.

This Place was the start of our short, but exciting Easter Day Journey. I must say that the view from this spot is amazing! You can see the North Mountains and a breathtaking landscape on the horizon. The wine tasting was just okay, nothing too special. Nevertheless, the fantastic view and lovely decorations made this winery an OKAY spot. The only main reason for the poor star review was the not so good service the girl at the counter provided, it was a BAD mix between Unfriendly and Stressed. She was going off on one of my friends because her ID was still the, «Under 21 until 2011» ID. Last time I checked it was not illegal to carry that ID in ARIZONA, Jerome not being the exception. I understand it may be hard for some people to comprehend why other’s may carry their old ID’S,(GOSH update that thing girl, and stop the madness!) but please pardon my lazy friend from not updating her ID. HOWEVER, don’t express it in such a way that it may be taken offensively or worst yet, leave a bad impression. Peace! :)

Enjoyed some wine tasting and a few minutes of relaxation with a glass in their lounge area overlooking the valley beyond Jerome. The woman that described the wines spoke like a poet with such beautiful and descriptive words that they all sounded amazing! I’d stop here again.

This is one of the coolest wineries I’ve visited. It’s not that the wines are that spectacular – don’t get me wrong they are delicious. I left with a bottle of ‘Queen of Pentacles.’ This place is so amazing because it clings to the side of the mountain and has an unobstructed sweeping view of the Verde Valley. This place probably has one of the best views in Jerome. Even if you don’t drink, go check it out and stop downstairs at the art gallery. My husband and I each had a tasting and sampled some interesting blends. Our server was knowledgeable but only to an extent. I love when I get an owner at a winery because they really give me a lot of backstory about what I’m drinking. I still had a good time. I had to make this four stars instead of five because they don’t give away free wine glasses with a tasting. Many other places in the area do and it’s fun to have a tangible souvenir after you buy a tasting and then bottles. I’ll definitely be back when I visit Jerome again! Great place!

This was the first of several stops last weekend. Great wines and a very helpful staff that took the time to tell us about each of their wines. The view out the back window is amazing. They even had animal crackers to offer between tastings to cleanse your palate(they get bonus points for this)! My two favorite reds here were the«Knight of Wands» and«Hangman». I would absolutely put them on your list of stops if you plan on a wine tasting trip up to the Sedona/Jerome area.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, affordable wines, and the most stunning view I have ever had while visiting a winery(and that includes my visits to Sonoma and Napa). Come here to enjoy a glass of wine and to sit back, relax, and gaze at some of the most beautiful scenery you will ever lay your eyes on! Interesting names for wines– all of the labels are various tarot cards.

The view out of the large windows in the back of the room are absolutely spectacular, especially if you were as lucky as I was and you got to see fog literally rolling into Jerome from the valley below! The tasting room is also like a gift shop with non-wine items for purchase that are beautiful. The gals who did our tasting were really sweet, but could have been more forthcoming with wine details as we were going along. The wines were very young, and their ‘most robust’ wine was not robust at all. Their new labels however, would prompt me to buy a bottle. It’s worth a shot to head in and try the wines, if you are a fan of light and often sweet reds, this is your place.
