This is the first negative review I’ve written. There was no one there. My friend was scared and said lets leave. I said, it’s an adventure, maybe we found one of those fantastic dumps with fm great food! Everyone was really nice but this was just bad food. Pasta fagioli was progresso. The meals were just not good. Shrimp was cooked to the point that we couldn’t cut it. Salad was awful. I’m sorry Angelinos you guys were nice but please fix this place. Charged me $ 20 for a jack and coke! Are they nuts? That was really the tipping point. I could deal with the explosive gastro intestinal problems — but damn! 20 bucks?

Me and my coworkers come here for lunch about once a week. We do not order anything fancy(pizza, heros, garlic knots, etc.) but its always hot, fresh, and tasty. We usually sit at the bar area and play quick draw while we eat, makes for an entertaining lunch.

Came to here for a cocktail and bite to eat before an event at Westbury Theatre. The place was very quiet for a Saturday night. No one was at the bar so we sat there. We ordered the fresh mozzarella and tomato salad as an appy which was pretty basic as you might expect. For an entrée it was the chicken parm which was average. The breading was not very crisp and a little more on the soggy side. They served potatoes and broccoli which I think doesn’t pair well with that. It would be better if they placed the chicken on a bed of spaghetti and included salad in the meal as opposed to a choice of salad or pasta with the meal. Price point was in line with what would be expected at a typical Italian Restaraunt. This would have been a two star rating except that the Bartender was friendly and didn’t charge us the extra 5.00 sharing fee. All in all this place worked for a last minute spot to grab a cocktail and bite to eat before a show.

Saw the restaurant while driving by. What a fortunate surprise! Excellent marinara sauce over a healthy dish of very good ravioli. Highly recommend this place for its very good food and very reasonable prices. Rodger G.

Place was empty, but food was not too bad. Very strange that there were no other customers for the first 15 minutes, then 2 others came in. my suggestion is that they need to trim down the menu, update the interior, offer some discounts and special offers to encourage people to come back and try the food

Went there pre-concert at Westbury. A woman who I presumed to be the owner asked if we wanted a booth. In response to our«Yes,» she said it would be about 10 minutes and started to walk away. Not wanting to wait, we said any table would be fine. After a big sigh, she came back and brought us to a table as if it were an imposition. We sat for over five minutes before someone came over.(Note: 3 tables seated and 2 wait staff.) placed a drink order and another 5 minute wait. After our bottle of wine was brought, we asked for bread which still had not arrived. Back to the 5 minute rule for service! Skipped an appetizer as the clock was clicking. The food matched the service. Veal was over cooked, sauce was insipid and calamari was tough and chewy. Amazed this place is still open.

I had a similar experience with the person who takes reservations that was previously noted in a review. She cautioned me that she couldn’t guarantee a booth even though I called weeks in advance for a reservation. Her demeanor on the phone was grouchy at best. When we got there at 5:30 there were two other tables filled and this was a Saurday nite! The restaurant got busier, but never to capacity and this was prior to a big oldies show at the Westbury Theatre. The food was tasty but skimpy in the opinion of myself and one of my dining companions. The Swordfish Marichela(?), which we both ordered, was such a slender piece that I was hungry within 2 hours. Please know that both myself and my friend are petite women. The other issue I have with this restaurant is the abominable state of the ladies room toilet. It clearly hasn’t been cleaned in years. I have seen cleaner toilets along the Jersey Turnpike! If that is an indication of the cleanliness of the kitchen, I’d advise you to stay away.

Nice quiet place for a tasteful dinner. Good food and nice staff. It’s not the newest place but it has that sense of home cooking for a night out. Big full bar, good drinks.

Called to make reservations 2WEEKS ahead of time for 3 of us. We had tickets for Westbury Music Fair for that evening. The women who took my reservation said in a Rude tone of Voice that, we had to be there at 5:30 Sharp or I’d lose my reservation. We had about an hours drive to get there & were kind of nervous about being late because of Friday night rush hour traffic.(she had me that worried) Well when we arrived at 5:20 the parking lot was empty! when we got inside so was the restaurant. People only started arriving about 6;30. The food was ok, nothing special.

I just left this restaurant and despite a busy night, we had a very nice dinner and the staff was VERY nice. They even bought us a free round of drinks. Overall, I would go back… the food was enjoyable and the staff was great! Go and try it out! You won’t be upset!

Not sure why I bothered based on the other reviews, but Angelino’s was close to my hotel and I was too tired to try to find something else. If you need food it will do, but it definitely wasn’t anything I’d rush back for. I had the sausage parm and small greek salad. The salad was pretty big(as I’d expect for $ 7.95) and decent. The sausage parm was fine — nothing notably good or bad, just fine — but the linguine with it was cooked perfectly. Pass on the bread.

Do not go here… leave immediately. You will thank me later. Sauce taste like watered down chef boyardee, food sucks, service is nothing short of abysmal. Just hop in your car and go.

Went here with a group of 11 for a friend’s birthday. First impression– it was dead on a Saturday night. Literally no other customers on a Saturday at 8pm. A sign?- we’ll see. Service was good. Appetizers of pizza, mussels, and calimari were also good. I ordered the lasagna which wasn’t very good. The special of the day, «chicken princess» was ok. Prices for the food were fair. Drinks were expensive. Service was decent. Overall, a glorified pizza parlor with an extended selection of mediocre food.

Middle of the road Italian that caters mainly to the pre-Westbury music fair(Now it is the North Fork Theater) crowd. More like an over sized pizza place the main dining room is nicely done and there is a separate bar area that is always dead. Great place to have a quiet drink and some shrimp parmigiana. The food is fine and is priced decently– the service is hit or miss even on a slow night. The owner is usually on hand which is a bonus.
