I absolutely recommend touring The Grove. I’ve known about this house for years, and I am just now making my way to check it out. The Grove is known as one of the most haunted homes in Texas and the guide/current owner does a great job in explaining the history of the town and the house. He and his wife live in the house and have taken great care to preserve its history, and they have done it with a genuine love and passion. It’s a very informative and interesting tour of their home which was built in 1861, and you learn about the families that have resided there. The tour is very affordable at $ 6 per person and lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Do not hesitate in checking it out. You will not regret it. It’s not a silly«ghost tour» or «haunted house». It is a history lesson that is utterly fascinating!
