Denny’s

This is, quite possibly, the absolute worst restaurant I have ever set foot in. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was an elderly woman shouting back and forth between where she was cleaning a table to the front door where guests were walking in. The screeching tone of her voice shouting at us should have been our first clue, but we continued on. We were sat in an area and clearly forgotten about. Eventually our orders were taken, my wife ordered coffee, yet they’re out of creamer? Out of sugar? Oh, let’s not forget that after 20+ minutes of placing our order the wait staff returns to say that they’re out of what we ordered. So, we tried to simplify the order with nachos. He returns with some chips with something that resembled Alpo did food with jalapeño peppers & sour cream. My wife’s sandwich was worse than my order. I’m not sure what monstrosity it was she was served, but it was not what she ordered.
We will NOT be back to another Denny’s… EVER!

I live here and I’ve tried this Denny’s on four previous occasions. All of them were bad experiences. Poor service and mediocre food. I won’t be back again.

Sad to see everyone’s else’s experience was not the same. Went to eat there on a Wednesday the waitress was super friendly and knowledgable of the menu. I ordered a steak skillet and within 15mins my pipping hot skillet came out exactly as I ordered it. Food was fresh and my waitress never let me go unattended. Happy customer :)

20 minutes before we were asked about drinks. Going on 45 minutes for food. Lame. I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself.

Late food, cooked wrong. I bet they don’t mind taking my money though?

The wait to get a table took a long time while we could see 6+ open tables around the restaurant that the staff couldn’t seem to see (people we later led to sit in those tables). 30min after ordering the food we decided the lack of knowledge as to when the food would be ready along with seeing another couple without food (they were seated approx 10min prior to us) lead my fiancée and I to leave without eating.
Although our waiter seemed to be working very hard to accommodate as much as possible, the food delays were out of his control. To add to the issues, management did not stop by to apologize and almost seemed as if customer service and customers being served in a timely manner wasn’t important.
Disappointing but we will never be back.

Wish I could take this one star away. I live just behind this dennys and been there at least five times. I am willing to give a place three tries but this place takes the cake. the place is nice and clean and you are
welcomed with a friendly face and smile but once seated you are lost in the land of the lost. I have sat after my order was taken an hour and a half just to find out the order was never placed or was lost. Other time s when we finally got our orders it was cold or not what we ordered .it’s a shame I like dennys and their food but this place needs to shut down or find people that can handle the business. So I say brothers and sisters of the road move on past this one and good get as square deal some where else.

Darlene is the best server I have ever had at a breakfast establishment. I usually don’t eat at Denny’s… but if I am ever on my way through Jarrell again I will be back! Thank you, Darlene!!!

Sorry to report I am dropping Denny’s in Jarrell to a 1 Star review. That is generous. They deserve a ZERO star review.
Celebrating tonight with Mom and my boys. Early Mother’s Day. Boys order the usual ~ salmon, peanut butter pancakes. Mom orders nachos, I get soup and salad.
Yet again, as my food is about to come out, the waitress comes to say they are out of the soup I ordered. They have some frozen, but that will take a while. I said, you know this place is just wrong and slow and pathetic. I order chicken cranberry salad.
Their food comes and eventually she has to come back to say they do not have the spring salad mix, can she use iceberg lettuce. She hesitates to come tell me because she thinks I’ll be mad. I said I know it’s not your fault. This is really crapy. Unorganized. Just she++Y. #@%!!
Salad comes. Ordered ranch with other salad. This one needs raspberry vinegarette. She brings me oil and vinegar, sets it down as she’s still walking and says this is what we have. Nope. Can’t do it. Pour on the ranch. Still good but needed the correct salad to taste superb.
Now I realize it is not the waitress’ fault.
THE MANAGEMENT AND MANAGER SUCK! I am trying to be polite. You are unorganized, unprepared, understaffed. Overall FAIL! BIG. FAT. FAIL. I hope the manager sees this.
I will not be back. Ever. I will tell as many people as possible — DO NOT EAT AT DENNY’S IN JARRELL!
I have already deterred a group from my church from meeting here once a month.

Good food. I can not comment on service as I always order to go. I have ordered quite a few times from burgers to breakfast and have not been disappointed.

Food is horrible bad bad bad customer service i would not recommend this place to anyone they for sure lost my buisness! And food took way too long!

This place is horrible… The wait for food is ridiculous long and when you ask for a eta they have no response. I worked in the food industry and understand what expectation should be… I’m very disappointed in Denny’s.

Always Great food! Coffee is always hot and delicious! Staff is courteous and quick.

Friendly wait staff, clean and quiet ambience. They have REALLY ‘upped’ their menu with all SORTS of new items. Such as their separate four page menu of just bacon food items such as the Carmel bacon French toast, bacon and Carmel milkshake and sundae and their many many other items and drinks.
This item also exclusively offers alcohol ’round clock.
Give it a shot! If you like Denny’s and you need a 24 hour place to eat at with decent food and exclusively alcohol, you’ll like this location, if not don’t waste your time.
