I tried it on a whim, I was in the mood for Mexican and googled«mexican food truck jamaica queens» I had the chicken tostada, amazing mound of goodness on a round tortilla chip, nicely seasoned chicken, with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado & sour cream… hmmmmm good and i also had a steak taco, equally delish! with onions an cilantro. Highly recommend!

Great place to have late night taco’s and quesadilla’s. The food was delicious and had explosive flavors. The cooks are also very nice.

Food: sober or wasted the tacos off this truck is amazinggggggggggggg. Don’t have a bad thing to say about the taco or the man behind the meat. We got the beef tongue, steak, pork and sausage, with all the fixings. Everything was so well seasoned and cooked to perfection! The guacamole, the lime, hot sauce is so perfect. Be careful for the jalapeños and onions, it is very spicy!!! I love spice but they can really make you sweat. Brew: they don’t sell beer so I brought my own. I started with a corona but ended with a Goose Island IPA to calm down the heat. Overall very good truck food for the price(2.50−2.75 per taco)

If you are in the mood for tacos, like I was all week(serious craving, yo), and you are in the neighborhood I totally recommend you check out this place. I had carne asada with the lime and hot sauce. It tasted just right! I’d go back!

Last night was my second time eating from this truck in about 2 years. The first time left a bad taste because I was charged an extra dollar over the menu price for a burrito. My visit last night, however, was much, much better. I ordered a beef burrito and tipped a dollar. I feel like I got my money’s worth back in value tenfold. The burrito was freaking huge! I feel that I normally would’ve been able to eat only half, but I had drank, so I devoured it. The ingredients were good, nothing super fancy here, but what does one really expect from a food truck? The burrito was stuffed with so much beef, lettuce, jalapeños, tomatoes, as well as however much guac and sour cream you want. I was so pleased with the amount of food in the burrito I tipped another dollar. The only downside of the experience was the messiness. Sauce was spilling out and the tortilla wasn’t wrapped all the way around so it was really really messy. Besides that, if you’re in the mood for some Mexican food, you should definitely skip the trip to the far overrated Chipotle and order from carmelitas,

Great food here. The wait time for me was a little long but it was worth it. The Quesadilla was great and the tacos were fine as well. Perfect for a late night bite as it’s not too heavy. I highly recommend the Quesadilla!

Service is SLOW. Got a burrito versus the quesadilla. It was bland and didn’t taste like the ingredients were fresh but it did filled me up. Also, the most confusing food ordering experience I’ve ever had. Guy kept on mixing up our orders and forgetting things. Thought he was messing around but unfortunately not. Overall, would skip.

I live in the Bronx, home of the no late-night munch spots, so when I found myself in Jamaica, Queens, I was super psyched to learn of this famous taco truck. It is your basic, no frills taco truck, with one exception, the tacos are friggin’ amazing!!! My fiancé and I had the chicken, steak and chorizo tacos. The steak taco had to be one of the best steak tacos I have ever had… No Joke! The chicken and chorizo were equally as good. I believe it was about midnight on a Tuesday and the truck had quite a crowd… good sign. I uploaded some pics, take a look and stop by, it is worth the trip.

They have pretty good Mexican tacos especially if you want some really late at night. Their hot sauce can be pretty spicy but I love these tacos.

I stumbled upon this truck, after a late night drive home. The chicken tacos I tryed were really good, they have 2 spicy sauces and a avacado salsa which was also very yummy. Be careful with the red hot sauce its very spicy! o_o

I absolutely LOVE this spot. I go here at least 2x per month. The chicken tacos are soooo BOMB! Well marinated & seasoned chicken with a jarrito is absolutely heavenly. I recently tried the tacos el pastor and that was pretty good also but my favorite is the chicken. If you are in the area please support them. You won’t be disappointed. Unfortunately they are only here in the evenings, but this is certainly the go to spot for late night eating. Cheap no frills authentic mexican tacos. LOVELOVELOVE!!!
