I use to order here when I want some tacos and bubble Tea, since it’s really hard to find bubble tea around the Jamaica area, they are very fast delivering and the food is pretty good. I’ve never been on the place but we always order from them.

Friendly and nice great bubble teas. Food is good but inconsistent depending on which cook is there. Still go there on a weekly basis. Little hole in the wall but joy to visit

The Shady Looking Bubble Tea Place That’s Actually Decent Overall: 3.25 Stars We found this place after getting a sweet tooth from a heavy dinner. We decided to check it out since it was located near our destination and the reviews were good. Needless to say it was unexpected when we found a rundown looking restaurant that looked as they converted the cooked/preparation station from an old food cart/truck. The place looked clean enough so we ordered a few teas/smoothies. While it doesn’t compare to its competitors out in Flushing and to a lesser extent Elmhurst, they do a decent job. The tapioca has a good texture and flavor. The fresh avocado smoothie is a bit bland. It tastes as though it only consists of blended avocado and nothing else. The Thai bubble tea was intriguing, but overall a bit disappointing. It tasted like normal Thai tea, only with tapioca included. I don’t know what I expected. The passion fruit and honeydew melon smoothies are a good go too. Sweet, but not too sweet. The prices are good ranging from $ 2.75 for a small bubble tea to $ 6.00 for a 22oz freshly squeezed juice. Large smoothies/bubble teas range from $ 3.25 to $ 4.25 depending on what you order. I am uncertain if the food served there is part of Sweet Mango or another restaurant connected to it. I recommend a visit to this place even though it looks the way it does. It will be a refreshing end to a long day, or a nice sugar boost to get you through the rest of the day. Everything is as they say fresh, so you know what you are getting.

edit: whoever Joey C of Sweet Mango is he just sent me an APPALLING message on here and instead of apologizing for the terrible food/service continued to berate me for telling the truth about my experience & had the nerve to ask if I had a job because«I don’t know the value of a dollar» trust me, I know the value of a dollar and have a job which is why I can afford take out, what YOU should worry about is how disgusting your food is prompting people to waste their money by throwing it out — it’s a good thing shady businesses like this can’t remove reviews thank you Unilocal for maintaining integrity while businesses like this can’t. ordered delivery from here on seamless and was excited to have a New Mexican place to order from. prices were cheap so I ordered the steak and guac combo that came with rice and beans. delivery was relatively quick but when I opened my food my jaw dropped. first they give you one teaspoon of sour cream, I don’t eat sour cream so I didn’t care. what was baffling was my order, you could literally count 10 small cut up shreds of steak and the rest was rice. how can they even call this steak and guac combo when there was barely ANY guac(it was spread on the lettuce and tomato and not in a separate cup like I imagined) not to mention it was straight up grey/brown in color so gross. in my experience with Mexican food I’ve never seen something like this. the rice was listed as the side but there was a huge portion of rice with the scraggly pieces of steak on top. so weird. I was so appalled by this sad excuse for a meal I barely ate it and threw it all out, I would recommend Taco Bell for Mexican over this place it is truly disappointing and the food was awful.

I usually get the bubble tea here, and I’ve tried it a few times. I love bubble tea! I get it all the time usually from kung fo tea. Compared to other places this isn’t great. It’s good, it get the job done if you have a craving. But it’s not great, it doesn’t taste nearly as good as the other big chain bubble tea places. But for being a small place it’s good, I wouldn’t say I highly recommend it but if you’re in a craving for bubble tea and you can’t go elsewhere check this place out.

Searching for bubble tea in Jamaica, usually is impossible. BUT, have no fear! Unilocal was there. This is bubble tea that gets the job done. The flavors on the menu are not the traditional. Simple fruit flavors and Taro. I was shocked to discover this place was like Yummy Taco featuring $ 2.50 Bubble Tea. There menu is cheap mexican items. Tacos. Fajitas. Tostada salads. Nachos. I ordered a coconut bubble tea. Packed with flavor but the bubbles were not great and sunk to the bottom of the cup. I also ordered a chicken & steak fajita because i was starving. It was edible. Got the job done. Cooked on the grill. Simple enough to make. No wow factors. I would take the F to Jackson Heights and walk to Kung Fu Tea for what it’s worth.

I ordered from this place a few times through Grub Hub and the food is delivered so quickly ! I love it ! I love their smoothies! Every time i order from them i try a different smoothie or bubble tea, its always nicely packaged and tastes amazing! My favorite thing to order is their tostada salads, preferably grilled chicken and shrimp. The food has always been fresh and tasty, keep it up !

I love this place. The bubble teas are sweet and refreshing. The pretzels are baked fresh throughout the day. The smoothies and fresh vegetable juices are made right in front of you. The food is more along the lines of Basic Chinese comfort food. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant and they always smiling and joking, and that’s nice addition to the atmosphere of a neighborhood local eatery

This is the new kid on the block. Whereas Bubble tea has been a very popular drink among people from Asia, and it has a number of stores in Chinatown & Flushing,. This is the first time of its kind here in Sutphin Blvd. I love Bubble tea and was happy when they opened one here a block where i work. There are around 8 flavors to choose from, from the Classic, Taro, Honeydew, Green Apple, Thai Coconut & Green Tea with tapioca pearls to give it a more delicious taste & flavor, I always love the Taro. Used to having it at Quickly which has a branch next to where i live. They also have a wide selection of smoothies with your choice of fruits… Aside from that They also serve Hot Noodle soups, I had the Seafood Noodle the other day & it was very filling & delicious. Have to try their Beef noodle one day. The people working there are like one Cantonese family, Father, Mother, daughter & son. Will I go back? Certainly…

I felt the strawberry bubble tea was too sweet. It seems like there wasn’t as much strawberry flavor. The tapioca was fine though.

I remember being really excited for the opening of this place, so I wouldn’t have to go all the way to Flushing or some other place for some bubble tea. However, I tried their Honeydew bubble tea, and it was extremely watered down so I couldn’t enjoy it. The pretzels were OK. Still disappointed with the bubble tea.

Day 2 of Sweet Mongo in operation — still working out the service kinks, but it’s a welcome addition to the drudgery of Jamaica eateries. Just across the street from me, so I am excited not to have to trek 15 minutes to the Unique«mall» or hop a train 15 minutes to Forest Hills to get my bubble tea«happy tappy» fix on. I’d prefer if they did fresh mixes, but I’ll take the powdered version of Thai ice tea, honeydew, taro, coconut here for the convenience. They do get the tapioca pearls to a nice chewy consistency, which is key. So is the price — $ 2.50 for a small, $ 3 for a large — which is more than reasonable. They also hawk coffee, tea, freshly blended juices and smoothies, plus simple sandwiches and pretzels for those who need something more substantial. Small seating area in the back. As an extra bonus(for me), it’s run by my peeps — Cantonese! :edit 1⁄27: with a quick switch of a letter on their awning, Sweet Mongo has become Sweet Mango!
