Stop 1 Market

Anyway, Stop 1 is a great little fruits & veggies market to have in my ‘hood. I’ve been spoiled living in Oakland two blocks from an awesome weekly farmers market when it comes to fresh produce, and it’s true that you just can’t find that in NY. But Stop 1’s offerings far surpass the Key Food down the block, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the quality of the fruit (although much of it comes from Cali, of course).
They’ve got a small grocery selection in the back, if you need to grab milk, cereal, etc., and the cashiers are friendly enough. Out of the three or four markets around my apartment, this one’s my fave so far.
