I checked this place out because it’s super convenient. This first time I went I was super annoying because I had to sit there for hourssss while ppl were getting called ahead of me, until finally they told me only one person does tips. I was so annoyed, I could have went somewhere else instead of sitting there for 2 hours. But my nails looked realllyyyyy nice after she did finish. You have to go here before 5 or there will be a serious wait.

Despite all the bad reviews, I have been going here for a few months now. The ladies always do a great job on my mani and pedi. Not to mention their large selection of Essie(my fav) colors. I also use them for waxing, and this too, is something they do a great job at!

This place has flies all over the place. She started ripping a piece of my toe nail off. Then proceeded to cut me while cutting my cuticles. I am officially done with this hole in the wall.

EEEKKK!!! Stay away! I went in because my regular nail place had a huge line and I was being impatient. BADCHOICE! First, the lady didn’t take off all of my old nail polish, I had to remind her to take off the old polish before you put new on. She kept forgetting about the sides of my nails, had to remind her that my nail is more that one strip down the middle. I asked for my cuticles NOT to be cut about three times and she kept trying to cut them! The lady put THREE coats of nail polish on me. Why three??? She already did half my hand before I noticed. The manicure chipped the next day, horribly. It also looked like a 5 year old did my nails, with paint all over my cuticles. I don’t think they know what they are doing. Save yourself the time and money and go to Styles Nail on 84th. Its a few steps away but a world of a difference.

so i just passed by this dirt hole the other day.(old location on manton street). i noticed that they had a sign that they were moving around the corner.(i believe it’s 84th avenue). ladies, please don’t be fooled. it is the same owners and workers. they are absolutely dirty!!! i can’t believe that the health department wasn’t called to investigate this place. isn’t there a law that the equipment must be sanitized??? their prices might be reasonable, but it is not worth a trip to the hospital.

I went in for a pedicure a couple of weeks ago. $ 15 seemed like a good price, I see clean, decent places with $ 25 mani-pedis near my office on the UES all the time. WRONG! The tools the manicurist used weren’t sanitized at all, the same pumice stone was used on me and the woman next to me, and did I mention that the tools weren’t sanitized? They were just in a little plastic basket. Disgusting. I will never go back here. Maybe not bad if you need to get your nails done right away and bring your own tools, but not for me.
