Meh. I ordered quinoa with vegetables &. felt like the cooks didn’t really know how to prepare vegetables; sloppy preparation. for instance leaving the roots on green onions & not cutting of bruised portions of veggies before cooking. My bf’s sandwich looked better– more of a meat place. Drinks were way too expensive-$ 8 for a Bud light. A little grossed out by ordering via ipad– both in the social implication of having a screen positioned in front of you and not talking to a waiter & in the physical idea of tons of travellers ftom around the globe licking their fingers & touching the screen. Service was friendly enough.

If you arrive at the terminal and your flight is leaving in less than a month, I would stay away from this place. I got there for breakfast and surprised them by ordering something super exotic — coffee and eggs. After 15 minutes I was told they are brewing coffee. Who would have guessed a customer would need coffee at 7 in the morning? After 20 minutes was told that the kitchen is really backed up — even though the place was not crowded. A few minutes later I had to leave to board my flight without getting my food.

Beer prices are ridiculous, and you wait a ridiculously long time for the beer. Food was okay and came out prompt.

If I could give half a star I would. Posted pics of what pics their menu show and what came out. Can’t complain and get it off the bill bc they make you order and pay by iPad before it comes out. Oh and the iPad’s didn’t work half the time. Only thing worth half a star was that they gave me a to go cup for my beer cuz my flight was boarding and I didn’t have time to get something else to replace the abomination they had the nerve to call a flammkuchen. NEIN!

This place has good food but high prices. The staff is all very nice and accommodating. I had the caprese salad and mushroom croquettes. All of the veggies in the salad were very fresh and the dressing was light. The croquette were really good! My boyfriend had the cheeseburger which he said«hit the spot.» Not the greatest but definitely better than what he would have got at the Wendy’s next door. Not sure why this place has such a low rating. People complain about the prices but it’s the airport… Everything is pricey! The beers on the iPad are in size 22 ounce so if you wan a smaller size they are less expensive.

Not sure why this place only has 1.5 stars. I was on my own traveling on a Sunday night. Everyone was super efficient and pleasant. Very busy. Food was great. There is something for everyone.

You’ve got limited dining options in terminal 2 which I guess is why Brooklyn Beer Garden gets by with being this bad. Every step of the process was terrible. One hostess to try to manage a line and bus tables, an iPad ordering system of overpriced even for an airport food which asks you to select your tip amount before anyone has even come over to say hi. And don’t expect anyone to ever come over. Anonymous people drop your food off and disappear so good look asking for something like ketchup for your $ 14 below-mediocre cheeseburger. Tap water doesn’t seem to be an option on the iPad so select between a $ 14 draft beer or a $ 3.50 small Fuji. Don’t be fooled by the almost hip«Brooklyn» décor, this place sucks.

This is an airport restaurant in the delta terminal. The food is average for airport food. I had a smoked burger and a beer. The burger was overcooked and came with approximately 3 onion rings on it and a bland mustard sauce. I substituted a salad for the fries, which was just spinach with oil. The beer selection is above average but pricey, default 16 oz drinks are in the teens(half the price for an 8 oz drink). Mostly local beers. You order from the ipads at the tables and then pay with a card. There are charging stations at each table and plenty of seating. Service is a little slow so I would not do it if I was in a rush to get anywhere.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. This is my first review because this was the worst food/service I’ve had. Terminal 2 has very little food choices so we went here. I love love nachos but the nachos here were so gross. I barely touched them. I’m seriously traumatized… Save your money… Go elsewhere.

Awful. 30min wait without receiving any food or drinks — then to be told that there is an issue with the kitchen. Disappointing after seeing the ‘your food in 15min’ advertisement. Left after requesting a refund to board my flight hungry.

A lot of reviews are from Americans returning from Europe wanting a cheeseburger. Well, this American had just returned from Europe and just wanted food. If you’re familiar with JFK’s terminal 2, you know options are slim. We ate here, begrudgingly. I am old fashioned in that, I like talking to people when I order a meal. Especially when it is a meal consisting of a $ 14.00 cheeseburger. Call me silly. The $ 8.00 Sam Adams in a bottle was warm and when I asked the waiter if he had chilled glasses he laughed and responded«this is only an airport restaurant». Hmmmm… I wonder if I would have received a warm $ 22.00 Ommegang. Yes, that’s right. $ 22.00 for a beer that I buy locally, for $ 5.00. Come on, folks! Seriously?! Dry stale bread, dry burger, frozen french fries, and a $ 70.00 tab for two. They really have you by the short and curlies here. This place was the worst part of my trip. I say that wholeheartedly. The staff was friendly — but I can talk to nice people for free. It’s a bit too gimmicky for my taste. Put down the ipad people and communicate like the rest of us neanderthals… with grunts and pointing. Two thumbs down and a pouty face.

One of the worst places I’ve stopped for food while traveling. Very rushed in and out. My beer, the empire, was delicious, but the burger was well done, burnt, and the toppings in it were a mess when served to me. The only reason I didn’t demand that they take it back and provide me with a new one was because I had to catch my flight and needed to eat. Very unprofessional. If I wanted poor quality food, I would have went to Wendy’s for cheaper.

It’s pretty hard to screw up French Fries, and thankfully they didn’t. But a grilled cheese with«fontina» and a cheeseburger with cheddar both had cheeses that resembled that familiar cardboard consistency of fast food chain American cheese. The sauerkraut was straight from a can, and the cheddarwurst was microwave hardened at both ends. The concept of ordering at the table on an iPad is awesome and one of the biggest attractions to the establishment. Additionally, the staff understand that you could be in a rush and are appropriately attentive and helpful. The beer list is better than standard fare at most airports. So if you must dine here, get fries and a beer.

Nothing special. Unfortunately in terminal 2 you don’t have many choices. Cool that they have«online ordering» and you can pay with your card right at the table. However it would help if the card readers worked…
