Just don’t. Save yourself. We ordered a steak and cheese sub, fries, and a steak tip(supposed to be their«specialty») salad from here for delivery. All pretty standard sub shop items that are hard to screw up. We waited an hour for our food to arrive. Everything was cold. Not room temperature, cold. I don’t even think the French fries were cooked. The steak tips were burnt and rock hard and the steak and cheese(which was supposed to have extra cheese) had no cheese. It was $ 35 for inedible food. When we called to let them know, the«gentleman» on the phone told us we were lying. Excellent customer service on top of great food…(Sarcasm if you didn’t catch that.

Ordered from them tonight. The fries were under cooked and unsalted. The steak and cheese was bland and flavorless. Paltry pieces of steak. All bread! Even the chocolate cake was disgusting. Lots of frosting and not enough cake. Had a processed taste to it. Will never order from this place again. Waste of money. Taste buds must be non existent to like this food. These people can’t cook and really need to get out of the business because clearly they do not care nor love what they do!

Calzone was good. Very divey place and only 2 tables. The pizza was too thick and was just OK.

Have never been to the restaurant since it’s always delivery. I love ordering online, very easy. Always order either the Sirloin burger with the Spinach and Feta pie or the Steak Dinner with the Spinach and Feta pie. Just lovely.

Zestos is great, and the staff is super helpful. While their pizzas are good, I highly recommend their subs. Their steak tips are excellent and come in interesting combinations(the mona lisa is steak tips, greek dressing, feta, and kalamatas) and are always properly cooked. They use good meats for their italian, and the stock yard(roast beef and potato salad sub) is awesome. No, Zestos will not win best pizza or sandwich in the city, but it is definitely one of the best lunch options in an area devoid of them. Great for both pickup or delivery.

Loved their pizza. It’s kind of thick with the cheese on top. Delicious crust. Tasty.

I always get the same thing and order it from grubhub but they are usually pretty fast with delivery, which gets major points with me after experiencing food delivery in the middle east(think two hours and cold food and no apology). Pizza is always good, and they have a pretty good salad for a pizza place. Overall recommend if you want a pizza delivered.

To die for I love old sKool itialian cooking done completely right! It reminds me of Brooklyn by there cooking and tasty crust pizza’s by true Itialian owners this place is too small for me to eat but they always make sure what you take home will be as delicious as eating in there restaurant

The ppl here are very friendly. Well at least the guy that answered the phone to take my order was. Food arrived in a great amount of time. The pizza there is good. Best that ive had in a long time. One of my co-workers had the Chicken Ceasar salad and he said that it was really good, said the chicken was nice and tender and full of flavor. We also had motz sticks which were alright but nothing special about them. I wish more ppl would bread their own rather than buying the frozen ones you just fry. all in all this place was ok. I would recommend them

Eh… Not much to say. Nothing is especially good, nothing is especially bad. They close relatively early and have a smallish menu. But it’s cheap, conveniently located, and you can do worse. The food isn’t memorable in the least, so there’s no reason to eat here.

This Greek style pizza is awesome. These guys are speedy too. I would often send my fiancé and her co-workers pizza from this place and everyone wanted to know where it was from it was so good.

So I don’t think I will ever return to this business again. I have tried it a few times, and have not loved the quality of the food. It is like every other mediocre pizza place in Boston. Having it located across the street made it hard to choose another place just out of the convenience it offered. I would have continued to patronize the place, except the one night I ordered a large«Eggplant Parm» thinking I would try a large Eggplant Pizza. I went to pick it up and the store owner pulled out a large sub sandwich. I apologized for the mistake, he made me purchase the sub I didn’t want and leave completely dissatisfied and swore off ever patronizing them again. It really made no sense to be so rude to a repeat customer, but whatever. So at least take heed when ordering from here, or better yet find a better pizza /sub shop instead.

Absolutely terrible. It took them 2.5 hours to deliver a pizza and a salad. I called three times to ask what was going on, each time the guy who answered told me «the driver just left». When it finally arrived, the pizza was stone cold(surprise!), and the toppings were gross and congealed. I told the driver I had been waiting for hours, somehow this surprised him. I checked the pizza before he left, I told him it was cold, and his response was«Well, what can you do?». No apology, no remorse, and I didn’t sense any surprise when I told him I’m never ordering from them again. So, I guess in a way I answered his question–«what I can do» is never spend another cent at this place and advise you not to, either.

I saw there were some bad reviews about this place, but a majority of those were in reference to the non pizza items. The large cheese pizza with mushrooms that I ordered was really good. It was definitely better than pizza hut or papa johns and $ 11 for a large pizza from a «mom and pop» sized place is pretty good. It’s right down the street from me so I will post again after a few more visits… But like with love, you never forget the first time ;)

Grabbed a steak tip sub from here on the way home one day. It was ok, but definitely nothing to write home about. I am likely giving them the benefit of the doubt by saying that their pizza might be better than their sandwiches(my roommates had a chicken parm that he says was terrible), but to be honest I wouldn’t be too optimistic. Brags(+): On the cheap side… that’s good right? The sandwich was edible but forgettable. Not much good to say here, I guess haha. Beats(-): My roommate said to stay away from this place. Variance(~): There is a 7 – 11 right across the street. Pizza and slurpees, a winning combination(for diabetes!).

I had edible pizza from here. That’s about the best I can say about it. It definitely wasn’t good, more like gas-station quality. Crust was pretty awful, sauce barely existent, huge amounts of gummy cheese, piles of veggie toppings. I paid around $ 15 for a large veggie pizza, which was not huge and not very delicious. Next time I’m headed down the street to see if Ideal is any better. I agree with Anthony L. about the font on the sign– the signage and décor made me think I was going to get much better food than I did.

Meatball sub = FAIL. One of the least inspired interpretations of this classic I’ve experienced in a while. The«meat» balls were obviously factory made, frozen in a multi-pound bag, and likely purchased from Sysco or Costco. Almost completely devoid of flavor or texture and warmed over in a correspondingly tasteless red liquid passing for sauce. All this was presented on a gummy sub roll that had the consistency of oatmeal and ultimately became indistinguishable from the cheese. Next time I’ll look for a «home made meatball» descriptor.

So, I don’t know. I’m definitely not in love, but I would go back if I got super hungry. Initially, I was attracted to this restaurant based on the location and the font they use for their sign(stupid, I know). Maybe you could call me a font whore, but I really think an establishment really follows suit based on their font. Would you eat at a place that has their name in Comic Sans? No. The inside is very inviting and clean. There’s usually a sports game or something going on, which is nice. I really enjoyed looking at the wall décor(they have old advertisements from Pepsi and other fun things). Once I saw this, I knew I was in for a treat. I ordered myself a chicken cesar wrap and a slice of cheese pizza while I waited patiently. The pizza wasn’t that great. It almost reminds me of public elementary school pizza. You know, the one that is missing a lot of flavor but packs a lot of cheese and crust? Maybe some people really like it, but I don’t. I ate it all, though, I was starving. The chicken cesar wrap wasn’t too awful, either. I decided to chow it down at the little park down the street. However, after I inhaled the whole thing(I was hungry!) my stomach started to feel a little shaky(ugh). It’s okay, I toughed it out for a half-hour(ended up biking home). But, once I got home… gah. You know what I’m going for. I wonder if the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way. Nonetheless, my body felt amazing after the fact. With that being said, I would probably go back. Zesto’s is a convenient place to get an average food. Nothing great, nothing

As far as pizza joints and sub shops go, this is it — the baseline for which all others should be compared to. I’ve been into the location a number of times and it is like many other, maybe even cleaner if that’s worth talking about. It’s a pizza place; who cares? For the most part, this is a take-out of delivery establishment and with far above average promptness, your food will be delivered tasting just the way you had hoped. It’s almost so deceptively good that you forget that you you’re not eating healthily. The pizza is much better than most others in the area, and the subs you could down without coming up for air. The calzones always hit the spot and rarely leave you feeling as though there’s too much bread and not enough umppph. Apps look a little pricey but upon closer inspection, the portion sizes are more generous than other places and they flat out tast a whole lot better. You can’t really go wrong with Zesto’s, unless of course you’re foolish and order from somewhere else in the neighborhood.
