This a hidden store on South Street that you wont even notice on most days. But I stumbled upon this Senegalese (I think) convenient store on my way home one day and discovered that they sell halal meat. They have a freezer full of chicken, lamb and beef as well as other ethnic goodies including dates, green chillies, Mediterranean snacks and beverages. The lady is very friendly but she is almost always on the phone. Another complaint I have is that their stock is pretty limited so often time they don’t have the thing I am looking for (green chillies). I suppose it is a small store and is completely overshadowed by the good-​for-​nothing convenient store right next door. In my opinion this place could do a little better with more advertisement but it is still a convenient place to find some ethnic items and of course halal meat.
So for my Muslim friends in JP, this is the place to go for some Halal meat. Do try it!
