This is one of my favorite places to visit and shop. A great selection of antiques and jewelry at very fair prices. They sell quality items and the owners have a very good knowledge of history and background of the items you are buying. You might find a period piece of furniture, or an amazing light fixture or chandelier. There are also many older estate household and Tabletop items ranging in quality and price to suit most everyone. It is a small shop but you may need to make several passes to check out all the items. A great asset in Jamaica Plain!

My Partner and I both bought our engagement rings from Cobwebs. Cobwebs has a great selection of jewelry. We were able to find pieces that really represented who we are individually and as a couple. Patrick was absolutely wonderful! He took the time to explain details of the ring and setup a payment plan for us with no interest and no rush to pay it off. He is very knowledgeable and friendly and well connected to antique dealers. Cobwebs is a store not to miss, particularly when strolling down Centre Street.

A really great little antique store that is just chock full of good stuff. At the front of the store they have an excellent selection of jewelry including many interesting estate pieces in sterling silver, gold and precious and semi-precious stones. I was also impressed with their collection of old watches including brands such as Timex and Citizen. They had a great assortment of old clip on and screw earrings. It is clear that the owner knows his stuff. In some antique stores I have noticed items that are not antiques mixed in with real antiques, but I did not see any of that here. Further back in the store you will find furniture and household goods as well as some paintings and statues. The staff member who was in the store when I visited was very friendly and we discussed the neighborhood. The prices, I thought, were quite reasonable, especially for most of the jewelry. I will definitely be back the next time I am in JP.

They’ve got some great finds in here. The furniture and larger pieces are way out of my price room, so it’s more like looking around a museum… but still, some really cool stuff. What’s fun for me are the trinkets and jewelry, which are a little more affordable(most of them, anyway). The owners are very friendly and talkative, and seem to really enjoy it when a customer is excited to find something special.

Imagine a treasure that doesn’t require a map or involve pirates. Imagine an afternoon of antiquing sans muffy and buffy. Nestled into a nook of a store in JP, there exists the perfect union of these two experiences at Cobwebs. Filled to the brim with everything from outdoor statues of Buddha, to whole crystal cocktails sets from the twenties, to furniture, jewelry and everything that you could possibly cram in between, Cobwebs may be expensive, but it comes with the assurance that you’re not just getting some second-hand crap. Here, you buy that one, nice, pricey piece you’ll treat with care and pass along to future generations. Afterward, you can go across the street to Boomerangs and get your bargains shopping on.

Cobwebs has a small but eclectic mix of 20s, 30s, and 40s chandeliers, a number of paintings, china, furniture. Yes its a hodgepodge but worth every minute and every dollar you spend there.

woah mama — this furniture is awesome. The problem is it’s also awesomely expensive — like so overpriced that I could sell a kidney and would only be able to afford one of the drawers in a dresser. That being said, if you like antique furniture(and use money for toilet paper), Cobwebs has some really great stuff. The people are really nice too. I’m sure the guy working could tell right away that I couldnt afford the door mat in this place, but he was still very helpful and even told me about a great estate sale going on later that had great antique stuff(and much cheaper). But its really great to window shop there if you like that stuff.

Really old cool stuff… Really expensive old stuff. If your walking down center st and have some time to kill… pop your head in and see what they’ve got. Its fun to look around in the store, there are some pretty interesting finds. The staff seems really friendly and helpful. They let me try on whatever jewelry I wanted, even the engagement rings.(they could tell I had no intention to buy) I really like this store.
