Treasure House Antiques & Uniques is certainly true to its name. After mapping out my Saturday morning route of antique stores in the Jacksonville area using Unilocal of course this place was high on my list, for good reason it turns out. Once I pulled up and parked I could have experienced a little skepticism but I’ve learned years ago when I started antiquing don’t ever qualify a place by size or outward appearance, this place has none of those issues anyway since its name does state«house» but it’s easy to think that way after visiting hundreds of antique shops over the years and coming up empty most of the time. This shop is a charming place it’s very well kept, very neat and organized and the best part is it’s filled with quality treasures. As soon as we walked up a few steps onto the porch I knew this place was going to be amazing. Jackie one of the owners was quick to greet us and asked us if we were looking for any particular types of items she was so sincere instead of my usual reply to that question«we just want to look around» I told her of a few things I collect and immediately noticed she had some of those items. I wasn’t in this shop more than 5 minutes when I noticed all the advertisement signs and asked about one particular piece that interested me. I continued to look around and she started gathering information on that piece, once I completed my tour of the shop and the back yard(do not miss going out back) she had a price on the piece I was interested in. She completely understood I knew what I was looking at and that I was seriously considering purchasing the piece, no high pressure sales tactics here no games or much haggling required she gave me her absolute best price I thought it was fair and made the purchase. This is the best scenario when antiquing everyone wins. We exchanged contact information she understands what I like and now she can get in touch with me if they ever come across items I collect. This was a great experience and a beautiful shop if you visit any in the area you must stop in here. This shop and owner is truly unique.

Randomly stopped in today and I am very glad I did. This place has everything. From shoes, awesome furniture and records to vintage tea pots and jewelry. There are also items from local artists and vendors(chocolate covered pretzels, anyone??) which is always a great feature. The owner, Jackie is super sweet and warmly introduced herself to me while welcoming me to the neighborhood. Make sure you give yourself a little extra time to browse because there are tons of gems hidden in the nooks and crannies. I highly recommend stopping in!

The Treasure House is a neat little store located in the Park & King area. It is a place for local artisans to show their work and have it sold in a retail setting. You can also find all different kinds of antiques, vintage items, and more. The backyard contains an awesome selection of old, metal signs that range from soda products(Mountain Dew and Canada Dry) to street signs. Make sure you take your time and stroll through. There is so much packed into this tiny store that you need to take your time through the narrow walkways and you could miss that diamond in the rough if you rush.
