I get lunch here pretty frequently it’s usually busy but food comes out fast! Food is always fresh I have yet to have a bad meal here. The staff is also always very nice. Not expensive either for the food quality! All around A plus!

Best potato salad and chicken salad ever!!! Ham sandwiches and pasta salad are also good. Giant chocolate chip cookies are yummy, too! Always really fresh and crisp lettuce and tomatoes. A bit pricey but worth it.

Solid little lunch spot. Decent soups, salads, and sandwichs. Good prices. Nice staff.

Healthy and fresh everything, but sprouts and avocado available too, also great sides, potato salad, pasta, and fruit. Even fresh deserts made daily. You’ll never meet a finer person then Claire, it shows in the staff and the love they put in their food.

I was very happy to find that Clara’s Tidbits opened a second location very close to the office when I come to Jacksonville. Even happier to find no one there around 1:30 one afternoon. Things are a bit confusing up front — kiosks to take your order and as with most tech gimmickry like this, people seem daunted to use it, myself included. Luckily, the kindly woman at the counter gladly took my order manually. Sadly, the awesome salad bar didn’t make it to the second location, so I went for my second fav, Tuna w/​swiss in pita with lettuce, tomato and a smear of mayo. Potato salad and pickle slice? Check.
Everything was great — up until the moment I found a long, pale hair on/​in my potato salad after I’d eaten like half of it. I totally fought the urge to hurl as I looked around at the staff and realized the hair had to belong to the lady at the counter. Looking closely, I could see she was wearing a hair net, but it wasn’t really seated properly on the back of her head.
So sadly, that is where the 4^th and maybe 5^th star went from this review.

Vegetarian review– I have to admit, even though I eat here once a week, I always get the same thing. The veggie avocado pita is sooooo good. It has a ton of veggies, which most places lack. I’m talking tomatoes, bell peppers, cucs, olives, sprouts, spring mix, cheese, and, of course, avocado. To top it off, the staff is incredible friendly. They speak to you like a friend, not like they have to read from a script or are forced to be nice to you. We always feel welcome.

Always fresh and delicious! I really enjoy their tuna or chicken salad on a croissant or marble rye. Potato salad and pasta salad are my fave sides. Lemon pound cake is fabulous! Can’t go wrong with Tidbits.

Love this place. Always get the daily special. Very filling and not too expensive. They’re chicken salad is my favorite. And the potato salad.

Just of 95. A welcome break from fast food while traveling. The chicken sausage gumbo was delicious. Our family also had the triple, a tuna melt, and cheddar broccoli soup. Nice variety.

Wonderful lunch spot, i have never had anything bad! The pitas are big and flavorful, the soups are delicious, AND the best potato salad!
This last time i got «the sampler» holy delish!!! A salad with pasta, chicken, tuna, and potato salad on top with tomato and toasted pita points. It was a ton of food and i could have licked the plate clan! :)
Love the claras special seasoning too!

I came here around 11 – 11:15 on a weekday with a coworker, at the advice of another colleague. I liked that they had kiosks where you «self order» and wait for your food. I had the ham with blue cheese and apricot jam sandwich with a side of pasta salad. The coworker got a Mediterranean wrap and potato salad. The service at 11:15 took about 20 minutes, and got super busy when we left around noon. Kudos for the creative fresh and tasty menu items. Hint? try the season salt on the table, take some home. It’s great on the pasta salad. Cons? Having to wait for dessert separately and having to get there so early to beat the weekday lunch crowd. I’d give them another try, pretty tasty.

1^st time eating here and can’t wait to come back. The food (chicken salad pita with amazing potato salad and a turkey avocado pita) was AWESOME and the service was too. Staff were friendly and very helpful. What a great experience :-)

Great customer experience today. My web order did not go though correctly. They offered to make my food quickly while I waited. I was out in less than 10. Minutes with no charged. Much appreciated!

I love that they put a tidbits in my neighborhood! I always get the same thing… but everyone that I’ve ever dragged along has always loved what they’ve had too they have a killer pasta salad and I always pick up a potato salad for my secretary as she loves it! Clara’s seasoning which you can buy for your own kitchen is awesome!

So fresh, so fast, and so friendly. Delightfully different. Great for a quick lunch out and a nice alternative if you’re looking to bring food in that satisfies a group. Plenty to choose from. The staff is always cheerful and ready to serve. Highly recommended!

Any business owner that would go out of there way to deliver boxed meals to our teachers, is a place I will participate at even though on top of that their food is so fresh and delicious anyways. Kudos to this business.

I had eaten Tidbits food before but hadn’t been to Tidbits express. As others have said, you order on a computer screen and they don’t take cash. I decided to go with the daily ½ special. I got ½ turkey sandwich in a pita, the cup of broccoli cheddar soup, and a side of potato salad. The food was great, the pita was filled to the brim with fresh veggies (you pick exactly what you want when you order). The soup was fantastic (big chunks of broccoli) and, of course, the potato salad was perfect.
The service was wonderful. The woman who brought my food out even offered to get my drink (they have a fountain to get your own) for me! My food also came out really fast, which is always nice when you’re on your lunch break!
If I lived or worked a bit closer, I would be eating here constantly!

One of my favorite lunch spots! They have amazing, fresh, chicken salad and potato salad and if you get the half and half special you get half of a sandwhich with a cup of soup or salad and any side ie. potato salad, pasta salad, fruit cup etc and a drink for around $ 8… can not beat that! The atmosphere is nice, the place is super clean and the service is always amazing. Clara, the owner, makes sure to greet you and ask if you are happy if she is there.
My favorite is the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with avocado! YUM! Their gumbo and potato salad is also amazing. Everything is made fresh daily at the larger Hendricks Ave location and shipped to the Baymeadows location in refrigerated trucks each morning.
The only down side is they are only open for lunch 11am-2:30pm, so get scootin’!
**They do not accept cash & you order on a touch screen kiosk or online, pretty nifty! If you don’t want to order on the kiosk they do have someone available to assist you :)

Fresh food at a good price. Try there tuna melt! They only accept credit cards. Great for lunch. Just wish they had a bigger menu.
