Great food for a great price. The servers are always quick and very attentive! Never had a problem

Note: We’ve only been to this location for drinks and debauchery! :D Sat in the bar area which is a nice set-up with a very laid-back feel. Friends had some beers while I had a nice, large margarita. The bartender was super attentive and friendly. Nice, clean area with several flatscreens if you’re looking to catch a game. We were severed several baskets of chips with their salsa, which is superb. I must say, La Nop does deliver the best salsa in town… at least IMHO. I can’t take a lot of heat because I have a pretty sensitive palate, but it has just the perfect amount of heat where I could feel it without it setting my mouth on fire like a dragon! Later on, we were back again for round two for drinks and this time we sat in the dining room because there were several people in our party who were eating. There were a ton of us and our waiter as spot-on with everything. Not once did the drinks stop flowing and everyone had what they needed. Even though they were extremely busy, they didn’t have trouble at all putting tables together to seat our rather large party. This time I tried their queso with the chips, and like the other La Nop’s I’ve been to in town, they knocked it out of the park. Like their salsa, they also have the best queso around! I didn’t try any of the other food that was coming up, but my friends said it was great and it did look just as good as the other La Nop’s I have been too. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this La Nop in the future for drinks or lunch/dinner. And as for décor, this one is nicer than any of the other locations in town. Love all the artwork on the walls and the lighting, etc.

This place isn’t my favorite. I’m from Texas and think they have subpar Mexican food. A lot of people love it but I don’t think there food is high quality. They do have cheap beer and have always had good service.

This is a really good location… The staff is very friendly and attentive… The chips and queso is delicious… And the salsa is super tasty… I ate a whole basket of chips and salsa before we headed next door to our elite event at Newk’s… The restaurant is very clean and there’s plenty of seating throughout… This is a great place to stop in for a meal or drinks…

La Nopalera is one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. The beer is ice cold and cheap. If you order the large, you are not going to believe the size, it is like your own pitcher of beer. The margaritas are also really inexpensive and potent. You will never leave hungry or unhappy with the food either. The portions are generous, the flavors are amazing, and the ingredients fresh and good quality. The bottomless chips and salsa can be addicting, but go easy on them and save some room for the entrees. My personal favorites are the cheese enchiladas and the chicken quesadillas.

The food is decent, the service is usually pretty slow. The staff is very friendly though. It’s really one of the only Mexican restaurants in this area of Jacksonville so I guess it will do

Stopped in to this location for a late lunch. Much improved lighting and furniture from the older location down the street. Orders taken and meals delivered in 10 minutes. Wife had the taco salad, I had the Speedy Gonzales with beans. All were good. The salsa was very good and served in a much larger bowl than the competition down the street. Thumbs up on this. We stopped for a tasty quick, late lunch and got what we wanted. Nice new décor a positive too. We will be back.

since this new location opened — I’ve had great food and great service each time. The specials with chicken are amazing bc they use a grilled chicken instead of shredded. They have good prices, and a fun atmosphere.

Such delicious authentic Mexican food. Definitely my favorite Spanish restaurant to eat– every location. Best thing to get fajitas over cheesy rice!

3rd time at the new location. The first two times there was an odor towards the back of the restaurant that was unpleasant. This time it was gone. We went on Friday 7⁄24 at about 1:30PM, restaurant pretty empty. Took over a half an hour to get our food, and my order was not correct. Something that I had asked not to be put on my quesadilla was put on my quesadilla. Due to how long it took to get the food I just removed it myself.

Wow Is all I can say. Just wow. If anyone thinks this is Mexican food, I’m sorry you haven’t had the opportunity to try real Mexican food. I’ve eaten at 3 of their locations just to give them a chance. Never again. Bland food, everything taste the same, Service could be some of the worst I’ve experienced in Jacksonville. Parking is terrible, but they were slow? And WTF is that smell??? The smell of raw sewage, or something just really made the experience one of the worst. Do yourself a favor and avoid!

Ok, first of all I love La Nop! It’s our favorite Mexican Restaurant in the area. We almost always go to this location and even the old location before they moved. I think the food and drinks are good and reasonable. My biggest and only complaint about THIS location and the OLD location is that it smells! It smells like the bathroom as soon as you walk in. I dont know if they have proper ventilation but it’s the same smell as the old location. You don’t want to eat in an area that smells like a portajohn. I’m not talking about just one location of the restaurant but the ENTIRE place! C’mon man… I love this place and it’s right near my house but I will never go hear again if it stinks this bad. When this location opened back up it smelled fine but over time it got worse and worse. The other La Nops in the area do not smell like this and I’m pretty sure it’s something they are doing wrong. I would really hate driving an extra 15 minutes to go to another La Nop, I think next time I’ll go to a different restaurant altogether. Really disappointed over this!!! BTW, I checked into the wrong La Nop yesterday so I wasn’t at the Phillips hwy one.
