I like saying CUT! When checking a place out for the first time, I like to take in the organization of the store, the inventory, and appearance of the associates. I was only in the plaza checking out a nearby pizza parlor when I see the sign and then the discounted rack of items out front. I usually hate seeing those racks outside of stores because they normally house items that are short of being kitchen rags. Immediately when my eyes sparked at the sight of a super cute(and super cheap) scarf I was certain that it had been mistakenly placed. I was so happy I was wrong, when the fashionable ladies reviewed the item. I smiled and looked around at this great store. Great table of accessories but of course it was the corners of shoes that got to me the most. I love shoes. I LOVE shoes. This place has racks on racks on racks of great name brand shoes. I’ve never consigned with them — I don’t give back anything once I buy it. But if you do, it can apply to store credit to shop in the store. I saw this done. If you like labels but hate paying full price, this is the spot for hot new and like new items.

If I lived in the area, I might not share how awesome this place is because I would want to keep it all for myself! There was a sale rack outside with $ 5 designer dresses! What? I thought for sure the inside would be overpriced and less exciting. But nooooo! More sale prices on already great prices! I could barely drag myself(and my mother) out of there because there was one great designer piece after another for unbelievable prices. Really nice owner with excellent taste in clothing. :)

Classy, Unique, and Trendy(C.U.T.) are dripping from every rack in this sweet little boutique, tucked away in a shopping center at the corner of Baymeadows and San Jose. From high end designer bags and shoes to awesome jeans(ranging from size 24 — 32 at least) and some of the greatest jewelry in the city, C.U.T. has it all covered. Co-owners Jennifer and Kate have created a concept that was previously missing from Jacksonville. Granted, this store is likely compared to My Best Friend’s Closet, Fifi’s and the like, but I assure you the quality of inventory and the overall experience is a CUT above all those(pun intended… obviously). I just stopped in this weekend and found myself an awesome starfish cuff bracelet and romper for under $ 30(granted, I had a $ 19.00 store credit from clothes I’d previously consigned — score!). Seriously enjoyed rompin’ around the city this weekend with my new finds(yes, that just happened). On the subject of consigning(if that’s more your aim), this is a great place to sell your gently used high end swag. I brought in 2 cocktail dresses, a party dress, some Michael Kors flip flops(god help the woman who purchased those torture devices for feet) and a couple tops. This was probably 4 months ago. All but 1 item sold and I walked in on my last visit to find a check waiting for me — BONUS! Consigners can either opt to be contacted after a designated period of time if their items haven’t sold to pick them up or allow their unsold items to be donated to a local charity, benefiting underprivileged women seeking gainful employment. Win-win, if you ask me.
