I have not been to a flea market in years so I didn’t really know what to expect. We went because my sister in law wanted to look for souvenirs. Not sure if this is strange to anyone but we’ve both been to flea markets /swap meets that sells souvenirs. Not here. At first glance, the location is not impressive at all. Had we not walked around, we would have missed all the fresh produce. It’s a very small market /limited vendors so I didn’t see much that caught my interest except for the produce. Prices are comparable if not less than the grocery stores and fresher.

This is a pretty fun flea market to peruse through on any random day except when they’re closed. I love to get produce here as the prices are pretty cheap and the fruits and veggies are very nice. Nice selection and pretty flexible vendors that will work with you if you’re going to buy more from them. You can find some hard to find produce that you won’t find at your regular grocery stores and for way, way cheaper. Did I mention how great the prices are here? Yes, that’s why it’s called the Bargain House of Fleas. Just go… tell them I sent you. ;)

I’ve been going here for awhile, and have even brought new friends here. There are really nice vendors there that would help you pick your produce. When you walk into the main building you will meet a sweet lady name Brenda and her husband Russell. They have just about everything from car care, to kitchen and health aids. They sell vitamins which that is the one place I hit. The prices are fantastic. Then after if you want to shop for fresh veggies you have many stalls to choose from, it is always fresh and none of them are sprayed with wax film on it. if you have a dog or a puppy that you want to socialize it, This is a great spot… as long as you pick up after them. I’ve taken my pup there for 3 months now and he gets a long kid, adults and other dogs. Check them out on Weds, Sat and Sundays. rain or shine they are open

The only reason that I ever head over to the Bargain House of Fleas is for produce. You can find much better produce here on a Wednesday or on the weekend than any day at Publix or Winn Dixie. Besides the quality, the price is usually very easy on your wallet and that’s even compared to the prices at the Jacksonville Farmer’s Market. I’ve been able to find the occasional odd or end at this flea market, but it’s basically like a huge yard sale. It’s the produce that keeps me coming back. Fair warning, though, parking is terrible. Cars are everywhere and people don’t have the common decency to care that you were waiting for a spot. You’re going to need to be aggressive if you want that certain parking spot.
