Alan Nathan’s Family Chiropractic

So very thankful for the treatments I have recieved from Dr. Nathans. He uses state of the art equipment, and he addresses not only my chronic neck and back issues, but considers them holistically. In a nutshell, I consider him the best i have had, out of several practices. His manner is kind and gentle, and he appreciates the «homework» i do at the gym and yoga studio, and with my veggie rich diet. His staff are great and i love the location: right off the 295 and steps away from Native Sun. Very highly recommended.

I know some people see three stars and think its a bad review, but according to Unilocal,it means A-​OK. I agree with this assessment. It means I don’t hate it, and with some improvements, I could love it.
This would be a five star review if the administrative side of the practice were up to par with the clinical side.
Let’s start off with the negative, because the positive balances it out pretty nicely, and its better to end on a good note. Getting a human is hard. It is a hang up of mine, but I don’t like calling a business that is open and getting a voicemail. Especially if I have called three times in an hour, and on several days. If it’s that busy, you need to hire a receptionist.
Getting a massage appointment is also hard. I don’t know two weeks in advance when I am going to have back pain. It is very difficult to get an appointment the day of or next day.
I found out… a year after our first and (up till last month only) visit, that I had a credit of $ 160 on my account. This came as a complete surprise, and frankly… I would have preferred that they had not held onto my money for a year. The only reason I even knew, was because I went back after a year for my daughter and they pulled up her account, saw the credit and seemed surprised too. What if I had never gone back??? Would I have never gotten my money back?
The negatives aside, The massage therapist, Andrea, was soooo good. I am notoriously picky when it comes to massages, and she is phenomenal. So good in fact, that I purchased a 6 massage package.
Dr. Nathan seems to have been able to help my daughter with some of her back and neck pains. She felt instant relief and for that I am very grateful.

Dr. Nathans is the best chiropractor I’ve ever been to! He does manual adjustments but he also uses an activator. The best thing is that he also offers functional medicine, which allows you to figure out what foods your allergic to, or if you have bacteria or parisites. He’s really great and he has the best massage theorpists on staff. They dont do the normal «feel good» massage (though they can), they usually do massages to «fix» whats wrong with your muscles.
