We were in town for the Donna Run on 2÷13÷2016, all 16 of us. We went for a pre-race meal and had a wonderful meal. Our server, Sylvia, was amazing. We told the Manager Willy and he had nothing but praise. We all plan on returning for the 10 th anniv. of the Donna Run, next year. We hope to see Sylvia for another pre-race meal. My family and I have always been fans of Longhorn Restaurants, but they got 14 more fans that night. Ask for Sylvia and you will not be disappointed, she is a 10.

Longhorn’s is the place to go if you are looking for a reasonable steak. My mom and I shared the 30 oz porterhouse for 2 and left with plenty for leftovers. The steak was juicy and cooked to a perfect medium. I wish they had a few more vegetable side options — only one without an up barge was broccoli. Also, Our server was disappointingly inattentive(if she would have been a star, I would have given Longhorns a 4 star review).

It’s always a rare pleasure when trying a restaurant for the first time and being thoroughly impressed with every aspect. I ventured into LongHorn Steakhouse in Ponte Vedra tonight to have a meal at the bar. The Partner/Manager — Will Shepherd — greeted me and took personal care of my meal along with the waitress«Deanna» I believe was her name. It was Happy Hour — apparently a daily opportunity from 5 — 7PM and I ordered a house margarita for 5 bucks — expecting the usual watered-down, 90% ice variant chain restaurants serve. I was shocked to receive a full-strength, delicious drink in a large glass with TWICE again the amount remaining in the mixer container also delivered to the table. What a deal! The warm bread and robust salad started the meal off great. And the filet mignon was cooked to perfection and a sizeable portion, along with an overloaded baked potato. All in all it was an exceptional meal accompanied by terrific service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone nearby and trust your experience will be as positive as mine.

Great place to go TIM was amazing as a server great attitude and personality. Management came back to check on my family a couple times. Food was on point so were the drinks and can not say enough about the service. Will definitely be back!

Had dinner here last night. The food was excellent. I was surprised how good the grilled shrimp were. The steaks too. We got the outlaw ribeye and the sirloin. Their flavored teas are excellent. My wife got peach and I got blackberry. The only downer is that they were out of ribs, so I got a steak instead.

Ever since I was a little girl, my parents have always chosen LongHorn as one of our regular restaurants. I tend to get the same thing, but I do always sample off everyone else’s plate. The décor to LongHorn is really as southern as it gets. There are animal heads on the wall and the servers all wear blue jeans. They greet you with a big southern smile, and sometimes they even have an accent. I almost feel like I am back in Mississippi. If I was not so full after every meal I would probably go mud boggin’ or something country like that. The steak does not ever need steak sause, because it is cooked to perfection, and the baked potato is to die for. It comes fully loaded, and thats just the way I like it. I would love to work there just to see the training that goes into a place like this. The staff is always smiling and the food is always great. PS: They have a special going on, salad, steak, side and dessert for only 12.99!!!

We lived off San Pablo in the mid to late 90’s and would come here often for dinner. We now live in Illinois but were in town visiting family in the Mayo and came over for a late lunch. It was as great as I remembered(although the area has changed quite a bit). We had a party of about 14 and with no notice was seated immediately. I had the Rancher’s Sirloin which was a six ounce sirloin covered with two slices of bacon and a fried egg on top. I had the loaded mashed potatoes which were good too. My favorite steak here is the bone in ribeye. I regretted not ordering it but I enjoyed the sirloin(and saved a few bucks).

Nice staff. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Everyone enjoyed there meal, except me, my steak came rare and I ordered medium well. I and put the Steak in a doggie bag. After seeing blood in my plate I lost my appetite.

Can’t go wrong with LongHorn when you’re craving a good piece of steak. The customer service was very good and I couldn’t be more satisfied with their menu. Just like any other good chain, it has a great environment for kids.

This is a story of making the ordinary, extraordinary. I’m sure many of you like certain chain establishments, but there are certain locations you like better than others. I think the starbucks at 3rd St and Atlantic Blvd is warmer and friendlier than the Starbucks on 3rd St in Jax Bch. When I went to eat at Longhorn recently, I had an idea of what to expect already in my mind. When it came to the food, I was right. They have several beef options, with your typical sides. Mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, rice pilaf… They also have seafood and chicken dishes, but nothing new to write home about. The last time I went there, however, they did not have the prime rib due to some techincal difficulties in the kitchen. We were so famished at that point, we simply picked something else off the menu. The management there however, could not do enough, it seemed, to rectify the situation. Mind you, we were not upset at all. We understand these things happen. The waitress apologized profusely. The manager apologized and later checked up on everything. He took our appetizers off the bill and gave us his business card and then apologized again! Not only was it kind, but a smart move on his part. The next time I am craving a decent steak, I’ll go back because as far as Longhorn is concerned, it does make a difference which chain and location it is!
