Being the food fanatic I am, I had a taste for suishi this evening. I did not feel like driving way out of the way either, so I decided to head to New China Buffet, it’s only a few minutes from my house and my fiancé went on her lunch break and she gave them a pretty decent review. I ordered the mongolian beef comb plate, beef broccoli combo plate for her(she is a creature of habit, so it is better to give her what she wants), spicey tuna rolls and my staple of hot & sour soup.(I have to get some hot & sour soup or some wonton soup whenevr I get take out, I like to eat it later on or eat it early to soothe my hunger pains) She liked her beef broccoli, but she likes Spring Buffet’s better(we go there 95%) but I had a taste for suishi and I didn’t want to go to two different locations to curb my palette this evening. The Mongolian Beef was good, but — they added chicken too it?! lol!!! It really didn’t have garlic & chili kick I was feining for, but it did have a little kick and the chicken threw me off. But it did have a settle soy flavor that was good, I mean it was a pleasent surprise in other words. The hot & sour soup was decent, not as good as Dragon Palace’s in Brandon, but it was edible — it had a serious pepper kick, the sweetness was tame, it was doable. It is typical chinese amercian flare, but in a clean friendly place. They were nice, food was pipin’ hot when I received it, not bad. Nuthin’ to write home about, but if you are hungry they will suffice. Decent service, decent food — if you live in the vincinity they are worth a visit.
