The worst buffets, less kind of food, and very expensive, we charged by ~$ 36 only for 2 people’s buffets

This is the worst Chinese restaurant I had ever had in my life. The service is bad! The waitress sat us at one corner for at least twenty minutes without any attention. The food was lousy! It was under cook! But the price was extremely expensive. They even charged us gratuity! I really didn’t mind to tip if the service was good. Overall I won’t recommend this place to anyone. This is the restaurant that you must avoid in Jackson, WY!

This place was dirty expensive and not in my opinion under any circumstances should you waste your time and money there.

Industry standard Chinese buffet. Tasty and filling. Egg drop soup and dumplings were just what I needed to soothe a cold. Hot tea brewed strong like I like it. This was my second visit.

It was exactly what you’d expect. A lot of kind of mediocre Chinese food. Most of the customers were Chinese.

If I could give 0 stars. I would. We came in at about 9:10pm. Party of 4 adults. She tried to upsell us and we declined. She wasn’t thrilled to be serving us either. We asked to have hot water, and she said no in a rude way. We ended up ordering the pepper and pork, the beef and scallions, and the bok choy dishes. We weren’t majorly hungry but knew we had to eat dinner. The beef and scallion dish was too sweet. And the pepper dish didn’t even taste proper. One of the pieces of pepper had a soap smell and taste to it. The bok choy had such a little amount of garlic in a dish that is traditionally full of garlic. Okay, so we’re in the middle of the US in a tourist town– this scenario would normally not instill confidence in finding a good Chinese food joint. We were prepared for a level of disappointment– but not this much. She never checked up on us, never refilled the tea and overall we felt uncomfortable in that restaurant with her tossing/clanging plates around. When we got the bill, we noticed that she charged 20% tip on top of our dinner but the menu never disclosed such a practice. We asked for the credit card receipt(for the customer) and they didn’t want to initially give it to us. Man oh man, other people were right. This place treats other Chinese people like CRAP. Do yourself a favor, and ask for the non-chinese people menu. At least the prices are better. And ask about the service charge before hand.

Food is ok, but dishonest! The list price is $ 9.99, but the owner charged $ 2.5 for a cheap coke and add up the tip on the rate after tax, we paid $ 13.50 finally. That’s not big money, but her«it’s my place, pay or go to hell» face made us really upset. Don’t go there if you are not missing Chinese food to death!

Horrible experience! Food is cold and left over. Buffet out of basic stuff like noodles, we kindly ask them to add little got yelled back. Some of us ordered from menu realize they have special menu once she find out you are not local. Price are high with no quality nor quantity at all. In the end after all that Horrible experience we just wanted to get out of these realize she added 18% tip directly onto the bill. Yelled at us once we questioned why its automatically added. How did we end up here anyway. Wonder why its still in business. Never ever again!

While traveling through Jackson we had a craving for Chinese food. Since the higher rated Unilocal option had burned down we decided to ignore reviews and try the Hong Kong buffet. We were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the kung pao chicken and egg fried rice from the menu and both were very good We added a side of sweet and sour sauce which made it excellant! The buffet was busy but not what we wanted. The servers are abrupt but almost in a funny way so give it as try if you want good American Chinese food:)

terrible service. Foods are salty. Even worse, they ask for additional 18% tips. Never, ever go for bite!

We were looking at the menu outside, a lady came out and yell at us «hey just came in and eat! We have many customers coming in later! Are you going to eat or not?» Seriously…is this how you treat a potential customers?

Pretty typical of a buffet style restaurant. Nothing outstanding food wise. They cater to bus traffic so it can get crowded.

I read the reviews and took my chances, but this is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Cold food, rude staff, and no quality items. It must be a money laundering scheme

I came here by accident actually. There is another Chinese place that Unilocal shows in the same place so I walked in without knowing I was in the wrong place. The only thing I can say is the service is terrible. They don’t actually seem like they want business. I went in and even though there were empty tables she told me to come back in 30 minutes. Against my better judgement I did. Then she looked at me with confusion and said, didn’t you come in earlier? I was like, yes and you told me to come back right now. Ummmm. She basically told me to leave again. I gave up.

The Chinese waitress service was really awful! She didn’t give us water at first until end and her service let us felt uncomfortable. She added 18% tips in bill voluntary and shameless. The foods was nothing special.

Food was«OK» off the buffet but a bit warmed over. Then about 15 minutes after I left it hit me like a Mack Truck if you know what I mean. I should have looked up the reviews before I went in. The food critics here on Unilocal are about 50⁄50(and the good ones are probably fraudulent) but on Google the percentage is considerably higher in favor of staying away.

The taste is OK, but the price is too high. What I really don’t like is the mandatory tips. They add the 18% tips mandatorily to the bill.

Good for middle-America, nice service and decent quality. We were passing through Jackson and felt like some Chinese, the Buffet was $ 14/person, and drinks were extra but in a resort town, I suppose that’s not too spendy. The hostess sat us at a table next to the buffet, took our drink order and promptly brought it to us. The food was just above average, the rice was very well made(and strangely was nearly the best part, but we’re rice snobs), and the selection was good, especially for people not into pork or seafood – only 2 or 3 dishes of that sort and about 15 entrees to choose from. I was a little disappointed the dessert selection was only cookies or pudding, but we were pleasantly surprised by the overall flavor and service so the 3.5stars it should get turns into a 4.

We found 3 Chinese restaurants in the area and decided to give this a try. We ordered off the menu and was pretty disappointed. As chinese people, the dishes were not very authentic. They were rushed and the ingredients used were old. The skills of the chefs were also questionable. I would compare this to a chinese food truck that spits out your food in 5 mins.

I came here with family passing through town. I’ve had horrible experiences in tourist towns with Chinese food and I avoid them completely. This one take the cake. We opted to order off the menu instead of the buffet. Half the buffet looked decent but not worth the price. Here’s three things you need to know about the food here: 1. It’s very greasy 2. It’s very salty 3. Meat in a meat dish only make up less than a third of the actual dish. Let me give you an example. We ordered elk, which was intriguing, but was the most expensive item on the menu. Not only was it a bad idea it was like we were eating a plate of vegetables and the elk was an afterthought. I haven’t mentioned that the elk was overlooked and some of the vegetables were undercooked. Or that the chef went into the fridge and threw extra vegetables in that don’t belong in there. The napa cabbage was raw in the middle. Who cooks cucumbers in stir fry? Stir fry beef with green onion had tons of scallions… and required an excavation to dig out the beef. The shrimp and egg had lots of egg, salt, and a spoonful of shrimp. The eggplant in garlic sauce had lots of eggplant, and other veggies but not enough garlic. Service was pretty horrendous. The restaurant was hit with two large groups, and the chefs were bringing out the dishes to serve. All our dishes were brought out without serving spoons. The waitress took forever to bring us a container of rice. Not only am I not coming back, I’m never ever ever letting my mom pick the restaurant again. EVER.
