I thought the experience was great! They all work so hard. The wagon ride was awesome we had Aubrey and she was very sweet and entertaining. The food was good. The service was good and organized to get your dinner. The entertainment was cute and very audience interactive. Good clean fun for the family. I loved it from start to finish.

Corny but good family fun. Very well run. The wagon ride, cookout and entertainment were a blast. The food was also good and plentiful. Particularly liked the baked beans and roast beef.

So much fun!!! We were running late because my son was car sick coming down from the Tetons, and almost canceled. But, wow, we were so glad we made the effort… our party of 6 enjoyed the evening very much and couldn’t stop smiling afterward. We had two children, two parents and two grandparents — and each one of us enjoyed the experience. The food was good — not great — but the entertainment and covered wagon rides were exactly what we were expecting and more. The price is reasonable and the evening really capped off our time in Montana and Wyoming. I would recommend Bar T 5 to anyone visiting the area and would definitely go again if we are ever back in Jackson Hole. By the way, the staff were very welcoming and friendly — even offered my son a ginger ale or 7-Up to settle his stomach when we arrived. The owner made a point to talk to each and every wagon of guests and even carried my little son’s plate to his seat for him. The young woman driving our horses was happy and talkative. All around — great people, great time.

I can’t say enough great things about this trip. My family of four(son 14 and daughter 7) had the BEST time. So much fun and good food(and lots of it). The covered wagon ride was a blast. We were encouraged to interact with the horses throughout the night– which was great. The entertainment was a blast and they try to involve as many people as possible. Every employee seems to try so hard to make your visit pleasant. I thought all the staff went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this trip and can’t wait to come back when I am back in the area.

We decided to try Bar T because of the covered wagon ride. Turned out to be a really fun night out with my family! I have two boys, 9 and 11. It was well organized, cheesy and fun! The food was tasty, but nothing fancy. All you can eat too! Lots of polite and helpful cowboys and girls. My only complaint were the mosquitoes. The citronella candles didn’t detour them. The boys were allowed to help steer the wagon on the way back. Such a fun night!

Nothing fancy, but a good family fun. All you can eat buffet style dinner, but this is not real cookout as we expected since they not actually cooking while we at the site. I guess cooking right on the spot will be difficult to control the food quality. At least, they should make the dinner roll warm. They did sing pretty good and entertaining. Our family had a good time.

Fun family activity. Company is very organized and staff is very friendly. Show is cute and a little silly. Food was descent and it is all you can eat. Wagon ride experience was fun for the kids and our daughter who loves horses was in heaven. We did the early show and was done by around 8. You are not going for a gourmet meal but overall experience.

You come here, not for the food, but for the wagon ride, for the horses, and for the show. My kids loved the whole thing(and I liked it also). They have two seating each day. We did the 5:30PM seating. The whole thing ended at 8PM(when we get back to the parking lot). Started off with a short briefing, then the wagon ride(20 minutes each direction), then dinner and music show. Dinner is basic BBQ chicken and beef(actually quite soft), beans, corn, bread and salad. The food is OK but definitely not great. Anyway, food is not the main thing, and we loved the whole thing. If you have kids(my kids are 12 and 10), then they would definitely love the whole thing. :)

My husband and I stopped here on our road trip and we both really enjoyed it. A fun ride in covered wagons through the woods by a creek was really beautiful. Then all you can eat cowboy style bbq for dinner and yummy brownies for dessert. Yum! Entertainment includes singing cowboys and a great fiddle player. Definitely a fun social event that is totally family friendly and an overall memorable experience.

Food was excellent. All dutch oven style cooking. BBQ beef, chicken, corn on the cob, salad, roll and to die for beans… uuuummmmm! More of a protein dinner than Bar J. Blodies and hot cocoa for dessert. The ride in the covered wagons was cool. Entertainment a bit corny, but trip was worth the food and great people met.

Restaurant isn’t really the category that the Bar T 5 belongs in! It is a full evening of entertainment = covered wagon ride — chuckwagon dinner — music — comedy combination, in a most beautiful outdoor location. To really enjoy this evening of food and song you have to let go of any stuffy attitudes and be ready to turn yourself over to the moment. Pretend Indian attacks and all. The jokes are corny, but the food is good and plentiful. I have ridden the Bar T 5 wagons into the Bridger-Teton Wilderness 4 times now. The first 3 visits earned a sold 5 star. But my visit this June showed that while new ownership has the same music and jokes, somehow the delivery was more«canned» than genuine.
