Last time here went with kids, mother in law and wife, very uncomfortable to eat when waiters were observing my wife ass and talking among them, no respect !!!

I was introduced to this restaurant by my best friend and since then I try to go every week and try a different plate every time. This place is great not just the food but from the moment we walk in, we feel like we are home. Great customer service and atmosphere. I have tried the meat, seafood, salads and desserts. All amazing. Keep it up guys.

If I can give a 3.5 I would. It took about 45 mins for a waiter to come take our order and an hour and 20 mins to get our food. After all the wait the food was pretty good. Very filling.

We had a 7:30 pm reservation on a Sat. night. The place was packed, and we weren’t seated until 8 at a table right next to the kitchen. The entire night was spent ducking our heads so we wouldn’t get hit by a passing waiter with hot plates.
There were 3 large and loud parties in the place that took up a majority of the seating, as well as the staff’s attention. By the time we got our appetizer, it was 8:45, and they brought us the wrong item. It was 9 by the time we got the correct, hastily prepared, appetizer. Another 45 minutes passed before we got our entrees.
The food was pretty good, nothing you can’t get at many other places for a better price and service. I got the steak gaupo and my wife had one of the chicken dishes. Both were fine, nothing bad but nothing memorable. The grilled calamari appetizer was cold and poorly prepared, Drinks are overpriced, $ 9 for a standard glass of Chilean white wine (for a wine you can get for $ 7 a bottle retail), and the food was not good enough for the prices. After 3 hours in the place for mediocre food and bad service, they didn’t even comp us a drink.
Don’t think we will be going back.

Around jackson heights it may get tough to find a restaurant serving good Italian food that isn’t your local pizzeria. Man am i glad i stumbled upon this location because the food is great! Only a few blocks away from my house, I am surprised that I have never ordered from here before — the outside of the restaurant doesn’t seem too appealing but the inside for sure contains a loving atmosphere with a beautiful décor.
I ordered the penne alla vodka with chicken and it was absolutely fantastic. It contained a rich creamy sauce that melted in your mouth and had a healthy amount of chicken. My only complaint, like the other commenter mentioned, would be that the pasta was too hard. This restaurant is definitely worth your time if you are in the neighborhood looking for Italian food.

Came here today with my friend, and I had the lunch specials.
The complimentary bread and bruschetta were really good, and I enjoyed them a lot.
Also, my friend and I loved the service, the servers were really attentive and friendly.
She ordered a steak wrap, and I had the lunch special skirt steak with a side of linguini.
The portions were really big, and neither of us could finish it, so we packed the rest to go, so it was definitely worth the price.
I definitely enjoyed the steak, which I got medium rare.
However, while I really enjoyed the restaurant experience, I’m only giving this three stars, because my stomach started to feel queasy right after eating there and I am still feeling nauseous now (five hours after eating). And this is when I only had a glass of water in the morning and nothing else but Uncle Peter’s today.
Edit: dropping the stars from 3 to 1 due to the fact that I just emptied what’s left of lunch in the toilet.

Came here 2x & I don’t know why I don’t come more often given that I live a walking distance away.
Both times I came with the girlfriend & the first time was for my birthday. The Italian food was good & what made it great was I can get buzz & walk home.

Delicious lunch special of stuffed chicken with their saffron rice. My server kindly called a cab for me to LGA and made sure it arrived timely and no one stole my taxi. Highly recommend. Great ambiance and customer service!

Pretty good food. Italian with a Spanish flair. Appetizers were pretty good. We had the bruschetta, grilled octopus and chorizo, crab salad, and meatballs. Meatballs were average and nothing special. Grilled octopus was very good except a little too salty. We had the skirt steak and sirloin steak with chimichurri. Both were excellent. Lamb chops eh ok… overcooked and a little bland. Mushroom risotto tasted pretty good but canned mushrooms.
Check your bill carefully. We got charged $ 50 and $ 30 for a bottle of Malbec and a bottle of Prosecco when both bottles should have been $ 30 each. It came up when we were waiting for the valet to bring up our cars because the person in charge of the check mentioned the wine costing $ 80 and the person that ordered the wine insisted that both bottles were $ 30 each. We didn’t bother to go back and point out the mistake since we had already paid and left the table.
It was packed last night so mistakes can happen. I’d go back again because the food was very good.

Long time coming. This restaurant holds a dear place in my heart because I met my love here for the first time. The food and service are the icing on the cake. Phenomenal skirt stake, delish pasta and even better dessert. We have a great time every time. Valentine’s day is a challenge, so we leave it for special occasions like birthdays and our anniversary.

I ordered delivery from Uncle Peter’s and was very disappointed. The cheese ravioli was in a watery, flavorless sauce, the Caesar salad was soggy and the tiramisu came in a melted blob. (And it should be noted that it was in the 50s outside and I live only a few blocks from the restaurant.) Can only hope that dining in is a much better experience, but the sauce on the pasta at least, I imagine, pretty much is what it is?

I always have a delicious meal here along with a great experience. Our server is always SO nice and helpful and funny too… makes us feel right at home. I come here every couple of months and Uncle Peters never disappoints! One of my faves in the area for sure!

Place is great the best of all worlds. It’s that spot that not to many know about that is bomb.

Pretty good! The pastas were more on the al dente side. But it was very good. They gave us complimentary bread and mini bruschetta. I had the special «paparedelle pasta and beef ragu. Very good! My friend had black linguini seafood with white wine garlic sauce. Very good. Cocktails were okay but good to give you a good buzz. Our waiter offered bread pudding. We didn’t like it. It was like a weird textured cake with side of really sweet ice cream. But the other two meals he offered were good.

Came with My family And was suprised how great it was! Ambiance and décor were great and the food was superb. Ordered goat cheese salad and the entrana which was cooked perfectly. Uncle peters is the result of a fusion of Argentinian, Italian, and American flavors.

Delicious food and excellent service. That’s what a restaurant is all about and this place is all about that.
I was with a group of 10 for a special event for lunch. We did have a reservation and were seated immediately. Bruschetta was brought to the table. Absolutely delicious start. For appetizers, we ordered crab tower, octopus and oysters. All the food was eaten. It was all well prepared. For our main entrée, most of us ordered the grilled skirt steak. It comes with avocado and tomato on top. For those at our table who did not order the skirl steak, they regretted it. They saw how the rest of us were enjoying our steaks. The steak was delicious!!! That’s not to say the others didn’t enjoy their food, it’s just that our meal was definitely delicious.
I must comment on the service — excellent service. Very attentive staff, friendly and accommodating. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.
If you are a steak lover, I’d highly recommend trying this place.

Wow. Went here for my birthday last week and I was not disappointed. I noticed this place while strolling along Northern Blvd one day and I had to come eat here, it just had that look to it. I was right, the food was amazing. I had a sirloin steak that was very good even though there was a little more fat on it than I would like. The appetizers and drinks were made very well too. The place was about 50% when we showed up, but after about 20 minutes of being seated, it filled up quickly. I will be back for sure to eat some more food very soon, probably a pasta dish this time.

I am OBSESSED with the place. By far the BEST Italian local restaurant I have been to! Clam Casino style are amazing! The bruschetta delish! The shrimp penne alla vodka O. M. G. The whole dish is always bursting with so much flavor! It never seizes to amaze/​satisfy me. Another delicious entrée I love ordering is the pollo alla grilla with a side of roasted potatoes and an avocado/​tomato salad. I am one to be critical about ordering chicken breast at a restaurant, but trust me you won’t be disappointed!
The best way to end your absolutely delicious dining experience here is to order their mouth watering tiramisu! So good I sometimes have to order for the next day!
Go to uncle peters! Not only is the food to die for, but the service is top notch & they’re all very attentive!

Looove this place, hidden gem indeed!
Always friendly staff, food has never disappointed. My bf and I tend to share the entrana dish most of the time and they are nice enough to split it into two plates for us, and let me tell you that both portions are BIG!
Oh and their sangria is a must!

This a review (update) I never thought I would have to write, let alone for a restaurant I’ve had many magnificent experiences in. I will be giving the full situation and buildup for the experience. I will notate with a **** when I hit the pivotal point
After making a reservation for 7:00pm and arriving less than 5 minutes after the reservation time we noticed the restaurant was a bit more crowded than it normally is, and since the restaurant is typically understaffed (but excellent) everyone was running around trying to get everything done.
We were told the wait was 5 minutes for us, but we weren’t seated until 7:40pm. We didn’t mind since we had excellent Margaritas by our favorite servers.
After being seated we look at the menu and prepare for our orders. One of the senior staff mentioned there is no steak that evening, which was our main orders.
Running out of steak, no matter how busy you are, is a rather big misjudgment (sin) in the restaurant world.
**** A younger waiter (who I did not recognize from past times) came and asked us if we were ready. Since we were not happy about not having steak we mentioned (with an annoyed tone) that there should be no reason they should ever be out of steak and in our restaurant experiences (work within and eating) this rarely happens and if it does it should be brought to the attention of the customers sooner rather than later.
The young waiter did not seem to enjoy this mild (and I mean MILD) berating from us so he decided to make a snarky remark, in which I was the only one to pick up.

Despite all that went on before that we were still willing to order, but that unprofessional rude comment was the breaking point for me. We stated that we would leave and wanted the drinks comped.
He fetched someone, which I hope was the manager (For some reason I believe she was the expeditor, but still a manager) and I explained to her the situation. She seemed shocked, and explained about their busy evening. She also stated she will speak to the server about the situation, however I feel nothing will be done.****
It is a shame that such a classy place had to stoop to such low standards, even if it was for one evening.
If the crowds that showed up were so unexpected and that rare, the servers should still be able to handle tough situations and handle their stress professionally. The kitchen should always be prepared and have an abundance of commonly ordered items like steak. If there is proper refrigeration and storing practices, it will keep for longer than one would think.
I feel bad for the seniors wait staff and the gentleman who runs the bar, seats everyone, and occasionally takes orders. He is a true all-​star within that restaurant and he has my utmost respect.
We will return to this restaurant in the future, but in the meantime this experience will leave them with a 2 star rating from me only because of the senior wait staff who have given their customers the best experience possible.
If the young waiter who was outright disrespectful to us reads this, I hope you grow up and learn how to handle stressful situations better. If you think being scolded politely that being out of steak is bad and unjustified, then you better get out of this field now because you will run into a lot of unhappy customers in the future that will be much harsher than we were for more menial reasons.
