Awesome yummy food my favorite since year 2000 has been la hamburgesa Hawaiiana. But recently they’ve been taking too long to make the orders 30+. This is what is ruining the business. Everytime I’m there someone is complaining about the wait. And pick up is around the same time. Too long. They need to fix this

Ordered food for delivery $ 28 for a Cubano Sandwich, 2 passion fruit juices(made with water), an «Iraqui» hot dog and small fries. Got a sandwich with 1 layer of ham no pork no pernil nothing as you can see on the picture. The hot dog didn’t have the broiled eggs neither the sauce for this type of hot dog. The juices tasted like water with sugar and a little bit of passion fruit flavor. I wonder if the manager or owner knows about this and if they know that their employees handle the food this way. Also I didn’t get a receipt and checking the prices they charged me more for the food and like I said no receipt at all. I encourage people to not order food from here so the manager/order try to figure out what’s wrong with this business. This is not the first time this happened, not the second I was giving them another try but never again. PEOPLEAVOIDTHEDISAPPOINTMENTANDORDERFROMSOMEWHEREELSE.

So I visited this place due to a referral. But… 1. Service was below POOR, 0 star 2. Food is very mediocre for price: 1 hamburger, 1 quesadilla like flat sandwich(Cuban??: 1 slice of ham and withered lettuce), 1 order of fries, soda came to $ 24+ all served on paper and plastic tray. 3. Ambiance? Think of an Empty Cafeteria in the middle of the woods.

My go to fast food place for years. Love their burgers! Before I had a problem with their costumer service but they seem to have improved. Wish they would start taking credit cards already. Cash only!

I came to this location by accident because it has a very similar name to another place a block away. I had the hot dogs here and although they were good, the wait here is ridiculous. It looks like they only have two people running the whole place. There never is someone already at the register so you have to wait for someone to come and take your order. Then the order it self takes forever as well. It’s not worth the wait. They are way to slow here and look like they need more workers. Even days I have come where I called in advance and there not busy I had to wait a very very long time. There’s a lot of other Colombian fast food places near by.

good simple selection of their«special» hot dogs. Recommend trying at least one of them(after all that is what they are good for). The juices were okay, and their cubano style steak sandwhich is recommended.(non beef eaters, they have a turkey version). Tried a bit of their double burger — deff huge but not fell just a bit short of tasty. Taste isn’t worth the price, but worth a try for the hot dogs for 1st timers of that kind.

No real signage indicating it was open(nor lights), but tried the door anyway and left with a decent hot dog.

I have been coming here for years. It is my favorite burger joint. It is such a long drive from where I live, but so worth the trip. I come here any chance I get. I wished they opened up another location near me. I have never had a burger as good as the Hawaiian burger. The juicy burger is filled with crushed potato chips, crushed pineapples, cheese, lettuce and pink sauce(mayo & ketchup) that is just simply genius. All of my family and friends that have joined me here, have all loved this place as well.

Maybe it was just the day I was there… but maaaaan, they had nothing: I asked for a juice… they told me to pick another one, I asked for an auapanela… NO aguapanela, I asked for a cholado… NO they didn’t have one! Then I just picked what they had, and a salchipapa that was full of fat. Ewww I couldn’t eat it :(and I was expecting something better. The service was good but I think this one time they just had a mess. The guy taking the ordes was also receiving calls and so I had to wait too much :(. Hope they make it better because the last time I was there the service was way better and even when the empanadas were not good the hamburguer was good.

Great colombian fast food place. I have a hawaian burguer, it was tasteful as expected. The service here is excellent… Chalo takes good care of my order. The ambient is turning more rustic giving the place a more colombian stile.

If you’ve ever been to Colombia and have experienced an almighty Colombian hot dog from a cart, you’ve seen what they can do for a couple of pesos. While the hot dogs here aren’t quite the mammoth sausages they serve in the motherland, they definitely do them justice. They’re filling, cheap, tasty and come with a ton of toppings. Eggs, Picante, potato chips… well worth it. Take the trek even if youre not a Queens local. If you’ve been to Crif Dogs(for the food not the bar) you’ll like what’s on the menu.

the food here is so good. It does take a while for them to get the food prepared. But it is totally worth it. The burgers with the shrimp ceviche are to die for. The colombian hot dogs are the best!!! I wish they made one in the city! SOGOOD

The burger was good, sauces were tasty as well. The Perros were also finger-licking good. Had the Hawaiian and the Mexicano – they are highly recommended!

Where do i begin?! La perrada de chalo is just so darn GOOD! It’s open 24 hours, I came here around midnight once with my cousins and I was shocked to see there was still many people here including families. They looked like if they have just come from exploring the city and were just taking a bite before heading home. This place has a ton of options, the sauces is just what make everything blend and melt in your mouth. Guilty satisfying? YES and i can’t wait to go back Someone mentioned«This place doesn’t catch your eye from the outside but the menu will blow your mind.» and I couldnt agree more

Their hot dogs are the best! Get the super size, definitely worth it! Most of the options include pineapple as a topping(I know pineapple on a hot dog doesn’t sound appealing but it’s great!) and there are a bunch of different combos to choose from! I also had the mini Picada which was awesome and very filling for two people! The lady at the counter was kinda rude and they only take cash, other than that I really enjoyed this place.

I LOVE perrada. Of course, the original XSTASIS is missed(the burger place that competed with perrada) but perrada is so much better than banana king. The Empanadas are great. I always get the Hawaiian burger or sometype of hot dog. The only thing i hate is that they dont have their sauces in squeeze bottle like at Los Verdes. Theyre very stingy about their sauce, the garlic sauce is 35 cents each. The cashier’s and everybody else who works there is pretty rude, the bathroom is always disgusting. I try to avoid using the bathroom while there. Other than that theyre great at whatever time of the day(I’m guilty of eating a burger for breakfast) but I’m Ecuadorian we dont care what we eat at whatever time of the day :)

We have to come back to try this place again because sometimes takeout does not hold well. We ordered the Double Burger, $ 7.50, which was huge. It can really feed two people. Problem was the patty needed some seasoning and was a bit dry. We also ordered the Cubano sandwich, $ 6.25. Maybe that was a mistake since this is a Colombian place? It was too much bread in ratio to the filling. All you can taste is bread. I guess we’ll give it one more chance and eat in the establishment since there was so many tables inside. It is fast food as in, you order your food at the counter and you bring it one of the tables yourself to enjoy it. The food is made to order.

Okay, first off, I rate places based on the type of restaurant/institution it is. Am I going to complain that a local diner didn’t offer to hang up my coat, park my car, and use the finest imported fromage? NO. It’s a dang diner! That’s the idea with La Perrada de Chalo. It’s a Columbian spin on American fast food that is a guiltily satisfying good time that’s absolutely sure to leave you stuffed. The menu is ridiculously extensive, covering sandwiches, burgers, bowls, and most importantly(to me): Hot dogs. Seriously. These hot dogs are completely out of this world. My absolute favorite thing to get here is the Iraqui hot dog(super size). Sure, it’s a regular old unimpressive hot dog. But then it enter the hands of whatever genius artisan craftsman is behind that counter. It’s boiled perfectly and served on a toasted bun so that the outside has the slightest crisp while the inside is soft and fluffy. The iraqui is then topped with ketchup, mayonnaise, a smear of smooth pineapple sauce to give an incredible subtle sweetness, sliced hardboiled eggs, and crumbled up potato chips. Yes, you read that correctly, dang crumbled Ruffles or something. It’s a freakin’ party in your mouth, and a perfect crunch of slight saltiness. I also highly suggest the Maicitos Con Pollo Con Queso; it’s a bowl based with chicken meat, sweet corn, sliced cheese, and sauce. Which is probably mayo. But so dang good. Think of it like a salad, but all that annoying healthy green stuff removed, and just meat, corn, and cheese. Mm. The salchipapas is pretty standard, having well cooked fries and sliced hot dog pieces cut to look like little fanning four tentacled octupi. That sounds unappealing, huh? It’s good though, swear. The service here is very friendly, but honestly at least half the times I’ve come, the people behind the counter did not speak English. Luckily, I was either with my Colombian friend or used my broken high school level Spanish to get by. Also, if you order the hot dog(which you will, right?), just accept the fact you will be a disgusting hot mess trying to eat it. It’s fine. It’s part of the ritual. Just be sure to snag more napkins, because they certainly do not give you enough.

Columbian fast food? Nope not like going to McD or BK or Taco B. You still have to place an order and wait for the cook to make it. Fortunately the menu has English translations right under the Spanish descriptions. We had the hamburguesas– Double Burger $ 7.50– a lot of meat be bland and dry patties. Not much in flavor. I can’t even taste much of the crushed chips or pineapple and sauces. Rated 3⁄5. We also got the Cubano sandwiches $ 6.25– the sandwich was just OK. A lot of bread. The sandwich was not pressed and grilled, it was just flatten with no sign of grill marks. Rated 3⁄5. Overall it OK food. Tip: They stay open very later on Friday and Saturday evenings.
