My friend wanted a steak spot and this place did not disappoint. Portions are huge. We had the meat platter for two and could not finish it. The dulce de leche crêpe was yummy too. Very thin and light. Service is great. Would definitely come back again.

You will not leave wanting more food. Excellent portions. The skirt steak had a great flavor. Bountiful. What made this neighborhood venue a treat: You are taken care of. Need to explore here again

I’ve been here a couple of times for birthdays and dinners and I haven’t been disappointed yet. The ribs are delicious, it’s succulent, tasty and juicy. I ordered the Russian salad as a side and it paired well with the steak. Although I do wish the establishment had more dessert options and made rice and beans a side option, I enjoy the variety of meat cuts it has to offer.

Dear Management, This place used to be my go to spot for some delicious pizza and salad. My uncle and I would come here at least once every month. Until this last time I went the restaurant would have gotten a 5 star rating from me. Alas, I can in no good conscience give more than 3 here’s why: 1. The pizza has now changed crusts. Before it was a nice oven crisped, hand tossed dough, that was soft and thin in the middle with a fantastic crispy crust. The crust was flavorful from absorbing the delicious sauce into every inch of its center! Now the pizza’s dough is hard, tasteless, crispy, and thin. It is basically a gigantic round cracker with cheese and toppings on it. It doesn’t have the same flavor since the crust cannot absorb any of the sauce. Very disheartening. **UPDATE! I took a picture of my left overs and it looks as if the crust is a generic store bought crust as you can see in the pictures the holes in the bottom of it.** 2. The calamari which my table ordered for the first time at this place was awful! Overcooked and chewy. Honestly inedible. When I inquired about why the pizza had changed and if it is still an option to order the old crust. I was told by the waiter the old crust is no longer available and he himself likes the new gigantic tasteless cracker crust better.(Unfortunately 3 people at my table disagree sir!) Very, very sad. In the end the salad is still amazing and the medium portion size is enough for 3 people to have some and then go for seconds. I really hope you guys go back to the old crust, that is the only way I will eat here again. Best, A formerly loyal customer

Just had an impromptu lunch here. We were undecided because there are so many options on these few streets on northern. But wow did we choose well. Everything from the second we walked thru the door was spectacular. We were seated immediately and offered menus. As we ordered they brought warmed crusty loaf of bread sliced up. Our water glasses were refilled constantly. I had a yummy red sangria with my meal. We ordered the sirloin steak(16oz) and the shrimp in garlic sauce. Sides were Russian potato salad and a baked potato. Delicious delicious delicious. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. There was also tons of food. We rolled out of there eager to come back and explore more of this menu. How did I miss this gem of a place over the years ???

Walking into the place we were greeted by the gentleman and he sat us right away. He handed us our menus and gave us time to review what was on the menu and my boyfriend and I ordered when we were ready. He ordered the sirloin steak(16oz) and I ordered the Alfredo fettuccini pasta 2 cokes and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. Everything tastes amazing !!! You can taste the juice out of the steak he ordered and the pasta’s cheese was great. Defiantly coming back here again with the rest of the family for sure.

Came here for lunch with family as we have done so many times before. The food is good… the blood sausages especially. The service was so poor that I feel it only appropriate to warn other diners as this is the third time we have experienced the same. First, the waiter rushed us to order, and became sarcastic with my wife when she changed her mind on what she wanted. Second, we waited an eternity for our food, and there was only one other couple there. Third, my little one wanted dessert and no one showed up for 20 minuets to bring us the menu or offer more water(literally was about to go the supermarket across the street to buy a bottle. Finally, the printed out the suggested gratuity on the bill, so I left it in cash and gave my card to charge for the meal. When the aggressive server came back, they charged us the gratuity on the card also! This is the second time they do this on purpose. Rather than, embarrass the waiter for his brazen callousness, I decided to punish them more severely by never going back there again. I’m all for good food, but I require excellent service. After all, one goes out for a relaxing experience where one is «pampered» for a meal. No one expects a negative experience and to have money stolen from them. After years of going here… I bid them adieu. Good luck if you choose to frequent this establishment.

I just visited this place, I wish I can give it a –1 first the service sucked. The waiter started off with a rude attitude to a request with our food. Later the dish that we order was way too cooked he apologized but didn’t make a difference. It was not worth fighting for it and as we got ready to leave he said«oh by the way we specialize only in steak» so I told him regardless if steaks are what you specialize the food needs to be good and he said well just to let you know when you come back, I told him this is my first and last time and he gave an unpleasant attitude and threw me the check. Rude person!!! Not worth it! Go somewhere else!

I really enjoyed this place. The steak was definitely on point. Wasn’t crazy about the«Fried Calamari»(if you want to call it that). I guess you get what you pay for. the location is good. We came on a Monday night so it wasn’t packed. Overall its a good place for steak lovers.

Hmmm for some reason, I remember having a MUCH more flavorful meat dinner the last time I came here. Maybe I visited another argentinan steakhouse. Blood sausage — Tasted weird had some type of ingredient in it im not used to. Nothing like the Haitian, Dominican or Puerto Rican blood sausage Im used to. Short Rib– Very good and tender but had to add salt. Was not cook evenly. Ordered Medium and some parts were Rare. Skirt Steak– Very good and tender but had to add salt and kinda chewy. Chorizo– Very good and flavorful La Cabana Pizza– Best part of meal!!! proccuitto was everything. Sangria– Kinda tasted watered down but still good. Needs more juice. Mashed Potatoes– Hints of garlic, nothing special.

Went there on a Monday night and only two other tables were occupied. Waiter(receipt said his name is Christian) was awful. Barely greeted us –gave us menus and walked away. We had to ask for water three times. After our food came-he never came back to ask how food was or if he could bring us anything else. We noticed him sitting down at a table in the back, texting! When we were done eating, we had to call him over to clear the table and ask him what they had for dessert. He brought the bill over & he charged us 20% tip!!! We were a party of three adults & one toddler. That was unacceptable, but, explained his horrible attitude-he knew he was getting a tip-why bother. Food was average. Servings were good size. We won’t be going back. Horrible service.

Starting the new year with a bang. I’m giving La Cabana a solid 5 stars. The meats, chicken, and pork are all nicely grilled. Also, for the value of the mixed platter of combination of meats($ 43), it’s well worth the price! There’s also a meats only platter for about $ 10 dollars more. The service here is very reputable. Top notch service from start to finish. Our server Christian made sure our glass was never empty. The moment it was half full, he’ll swing by and refill us with their great tasting sangria. Skirt Steak — Superb! I ordered mine in medium. Tender and juicy. It was not under or overcooked. It was perfect! Skip the steak sauce, I went for their signature sauce. I couldn’t quite tell what it was but I think it consisted of olive oil, either lime or lemon juice with some greens, maybe fresh parsley. Short Rib — Thick cut and very juicy. I’m generally use to thinly sliced short ribs from Korean BBQ restaurants. Those are much leaner and easier to chew. At La Cabana, it’s a nice thick cut with bone. Some parts are a little too fatty but overall, it was still very enjoyable. Chorizo — Not bad. Nothing really special here. Not the biggest hit but certainly still delicious. Blood Sausage — Now this is was the hidden gem of the platter. The blood sausage was nice and full of great flavors. I loved the bits of cartilage-like texture in each bite. It wasn’t too gummy or pasty. It’s very good and I highly recommend trying it. Pork neck — Very nice crispy texture. The crispy edges tasted similar to a chicharone. Chicken — The chicken was good but it was my least favorite on the platter. The meats easily outshines the chicken in this order. I saved my chicken for to-go and had it for lunch the following day. Sangria — I’m not a huge sangria drinker but La Cabana makes a real bad ass batch of it. All of the fruit flavors are there. The fruits are not soggy or old and after the first pitcher, you’ll find yourself wanting more. Verdict — Outstanding service. My sincere compliments to our server Chris. Everything from their freshly baked rolls of bread to their entrees and sides. The entire experience here was not overhyped one bit. Every expectation I had of La Cabana was spot on and I will be back for more!

Went here a few nights ago for the first time for dinner. Very cozy atmosphere. We were greeted and seated immediately. Just a heads up though– the place fills up quickly, so making a reservation might help. We got the parillada– the mixed grill for 2. Huge portion of pork, beef and chorizo. Everything on the menu is VERY reasonably priced and our whole meal was SO delicious! The meal came with two sides– we loveddd the mashed potatoes«Valentina» style(with garlic and some herbs). I’ll definitely be coming here again!

OMG, a meat eater’s delight! My boyfriend took me to this steakhouse for my birthday. We shared a chicken empanada, roasted red peppers, the mixed grill beef with a side of Valentino mash potatoes and sautéed broccoli. The appetizers(empanada and roasted red peppers) were nothing special, but the steak… The mixed grill beef(for 2 people) included short ribs, sirloin steaks and and skirt steaks for $ 55. My favorite was the skirt steaks. It was cooked just right and had good flavor. Adding the chimichurri sauce just made it even better. The sirloin steaks were overcooked and on the dry side. The short ribs were good too, but not that lean. The broccoli was fresh and crisp; it had a slight hint of garlic. The mashed potatoes was very good. By the end of dinner, my boyfriend and I were so stuffed and we still had lots of steak leftover! I will definitely be coming back here and bringing reinforcements!

Excellent place to get good steaks. 1) I like the skirt steak. It is great flavor and moist. 2) The ambiance is nice, you have Argentine flags everywhere with nice classic decorations. 3) The price, like any Argentine, place is relatively expensive. Expect to spend 40 bucks per person, and that is being conservative. 4) The service is not very good, as such, loss of one star.

Very classy and fine restaurant. The food is really good, the steak was just fine well cooked and seasoned. I enjoyed how they prepared the Banana Crêpe Flambé: The price of most of the meals are fine, but the steak dishes are bit pricier than what I usually pay in other places, average price of a steak dish $ 30.00 to $ 48.00 The Sangria was REALLY good and the Crossini bread sticks were unique and awesome ! I Surely will be back.
