Off the chain bagels and friendly atmosphere. Almost too friendly. I got a cliquey cult vibe from some of the other patrons. Who knows what’s going on there. Don’t think the owner is in on it though, he seemed pretty cool.

I am honestly surprised by all the good reviews. My wife and I stopped here after seeing all the praise and hype on Unilocal for this small«bagel» store. The bagels are small, barely have toppings, and do not look freshly made on site even though the employees said they were. I got an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. The cream cheese was decent, but the bagel just wasn’t the right texture and flavor that one usually gets at a good bagel place where the bagels are homemade. Overall, it was probably the most disappointing bagel I’ve had in a long time. My wife got the chicken salad on an everything bagel(and it had virtually no topping on either my not her bagel). The chicken salad was weirdly sweet and the chicken was SQUISHY and rubbery at the same time. It was kind of gross by the end of it. My wife couldn’t finish it. The saddest part is that we were so disappointed with our bagel experience that we went to the bagel store on 89th and northern because that is the best bagel around and we wanted redemption. I honestly won’t be coming back here.

This small neighborhood breakfast/lunch spot has so much character and charm! The croissant French toast is divine, the soups are delicious and the coffee is on point! All the spreads are fantastic but my personal favorite is the white fish on a toasted mini bagel– pure glory in your mouth. Try anything on the extensive menu and you will not be disappointed. The owner, Sammy, is such an added bonus to the whole experience. He will humor you and also make you feel right at home. And oh!!– how could I not mention the muffins?! Get a muffin! The softest most amazing muffins you’ll ever have, guaranteed.

The man behind the bagels is Sammy and he’s a funny, gregarious guy who gives this place a welcoming atmosphere. The mini bagel, toasted, with whitefish changed my life. MMM.

This is my neighborhood spot. I Love the staff, they are super friendly. The place is small, it’s seats about 20 people but it feels cozy and homey. It’s very family oriented. The food is always fresh and made to order. They take cash or credit, a great option. They have wifi service but you just gotta ask them for the password. I know their network is secure. Only thing there is no public restrooms but it’s understandable for the size of the place.

Sam has a wonderfully relaxed way about him. That’s a very rare thing in a chaotic 24-hour city and it feels very welcoming. Like you can come and linger and stay as long as you like. The coffee was decent, the chocolate chip muffin was delicious and the everything bagel with lox cream cheese was just about perfect. I wish he’d been a little more generous with the lox cream cheese but I could be enticed to commit crime for the right quality of cream cheese so maybe you can disregard that. Good all around. Go.

Excellent lattes and coffee, and I’ve heard nothing but high praised for the baked goods. Cozy spot on a cold day. Not too much seating though. My go-to here is bagels and cream cheeses. I don’t think one can go wrong regardless.

This place is ok. Came here after seeing all the great reviews. I ordered a fresh lox bagel sandwich with coffee… Salmon wasn’t all that fresh. It tasted like it’s been sitting in the fridge for a while. I ate half and ended up removing the salmon for the other half. My boyfriend got a croissant sandwich with sausage and egg. That wasn’t too bad!

Wonderful food. Everything is fresh and healthy! The only downside is that it’s a bit tight for sitting to eat.

Consistently enjoyable food. Small and intimate venue which makes finding a seat hard but their food is always good. It’s a family business and you can see their passion for it. The chef is the owner and puts his all into the food and pleasing the customers. Eclectic decorations which somehow make you feel at home and keep you coming back. I’m a loyal customer and am happy to have them in Jackson Heights.

First time eating here. I ordered the gnocchi zuchinni with pesto sauce and my boyfriend ordered the grilled chicken panini with bacon and tomato it came with a side salad. The order took about 10 min to come out, although it wasnt very busy. The wait was worth it, we could tell everything was fresh made on the spot. The pesto sauce for the gnocchi was creamy and delicious, with a sprinkle of fresh parmesian the taste was rich. The adding slices of zuchinni made it that much better. I had a bite of my boyfriends panini, it was a great crunch with warm and stretchy cheese. Everything was made to perfection. Im not sure what dressing they added to the salad, but it had a sweet fruity flavor to it which was great in combination with the panini. I can see myself becoming a regular.

Great little café with a wide variety of options. Everything from wraps, bagels, pancakes, omelettes, salads. The staff is so friendly! When we arrived it was packed but we managed to get seats. I had the juju omelette, which was fresh and healthy but still very delicious and flavorful, it came with a side salad. I also had a muffin. The prices were very reasonable. The chef was kind when charging us, instead of breaking a five dollar bill he gave us a small discount. I’ve never experienced that anywhere. I will definitely come back for breakfast when I’m in the neighborhood.

Not much seating. This café is popular and by that I mean packed. It does have like 10 seats. It has many positive affirmations on the wall and a great family vibe. Strollers parked in the front with a metal bench with some kid’s scooter. There are regulars here who swear by the awesomeness of this restaurant. I could see the reason. The manager seems like a decent and friendly guy who is just doing what he can to make people feel at home. I come here, because I love bagels. They never have garlic, but that’s okay. I always see a ton of fresh cream cheese toppings that always sound amazing, but I am not sure what to try. I always end up ordering the lox cream cheese, because it’s delicious!

Great place to pop in and get a bagel and coffee. I got an everything bagel with egg, cheese, and turkey sausage that was really great. Iced coffee wasn’t great. The interior feels very authentic and homey.

These types of local family places don’t really exist much anymore, which is what makes Juju an amazing staple of Jackson Heights. It’s a small place with nine tables, not too crowded, order at the counter. The menu is huge with breakfast and lunch options, and service fast and friendly. I go with healthy wraps but they have pancakes, bagels, etc. friendly food runners(sometimes a cute little school boy) and nice vibe too. The price is very reasonable and the music choice is just perfect for a weekend brunch.

Grabbed a Sunday morning sesame bagel here, which they claim is made in a small batch, and mine was a batch that apparently didn’t include many sesame seeds. They accept no cards, and make a ton of spelling errors across all their signs. Staffer/owner was gruff and didn’t even bothe counting the charge for the product; prices are not posted for many items.

My sisters and I are constantly gabbing about Jujus. It is the best ever neighborhood breakfast spot and everything from the food to the service is flawless. For less that $ 10, I think it ran about $ 7, my younger sister and I each got a fresh and delicious bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel. No powdered eggs or microwaved products here! One of these days, I’m going to branch out and try one of their breakfast specials like pancakes with fresh fruit or croissant French toast. I don’t even live in NYC, but I feel like a regular. Best best best ever.

Ate here today. Delicious bagels and great atmosphere. I got the multigrain with a tuna salad spread that has apples and cranberries. Haven’t seen a spread like that anywhere else and it was really good. The guy behind the counter was really nice and seemed to know everyone there. Clearly a lot of regulars.

My family and I have been coming here for over 3 years. It has become our Saturday brunch spot. Sammy is great. The food is good. We always order the multigrain croissants with egg, cheese, and sausage. We also love the bagels with either chicken salad or tuna. The bacon grilled cheese with salad is good as well. It’s a small place but packs a decent menu for a decent price. It’s one of our favorite spots to eat in the neighborhood.

Good bagels and coffee. A little cramped for space, but mixed with the decoration and design of the place it adds to it’s character. Good ambience and friendly service.

Juju’s is one of my favorite places in Jackson Heights. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting; the food, delicious and affordable. The bagels and various cream cheeses here are terrific. And you can’t go wrong with their wraps, omelets or paninis. Service here is A+++. Sami is a wonderful host — as friendly and warm as can be. Check this place out if you are in the neighborhood; you won’t be disappointed.

Best lunch in Jackson Heights! Everything here is made from scratch, so the food takes a little longer to come out but it’s always worth it. There’s an extensive menu, and everything is good, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. You can eat light with salads and soups, but there are lots of heartier dishes if you’re looking for something more substantial, including specials like pan-seared salmon with pineapple salsa and vegetables. The homemade hummus is amazing, a world of difference from the Sabra and Tribe stuff in tubs that most cafés use. The prices are very reasonable given the quality of the food. The owner Samy is so nice and hospitable, and never rushes anyone out even when it gets busy. Truly a neighborhood spot.

So I’ve passed by this place a dozen of times and finally decided to stop by. The place itself is very small with 5 – 6 small tables that are basically on top of each other and three top bar tables. The owner was so nice but if he called me «sweetie» one more time I thought I was going to bug out. By the time I finished my meal all the elders in the neighborhood were coming so I was basically forced out, no biggie I was just about done anyway. I ordered an iced coffee which was one of the better coffees in the neighborhood which I highly recommend. I also got a bagel with cream cheese and Lox. Nothing special just a bagel with lox that you can get across the street at K&L for a dollar cheaper. I would go back and recommend going there for a fast breakfast or brunch.

So-so cash only spot in JH. Think of this as more of a deli with pre-bought bagels than a bakery. They have a decent amount of different savory and sweet cream cheeses(I think I even saw whitefish salad). Sandwiches and pancakes and soups can also be had, but it’s a rotating menu. Coffee here is extremely yum. They do iced particularly well. Espresso here is much better than most places in the area. When on the run and in need of something that isn’t Starbucks/DD/or the even worse Espresso 77, I like to duck in here. Very, very limited seating and extremely crowded on weekend mornings. Better off to grab and go rather than linger, enjoy!

My companion and I went here for breakfast two mornings in a row while visiting the area. The overall setup of this place was such that I really loved the place. I loved it too much that I would definitely come back here again when I visit for the next time in the future. So, what is there to like? Well, the croissants are amazing, not too flaky, and very delicious. The omelettes are very tasty. The coffee is great. And more importantly, the guy who wears a beret and stands behind the counter is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. He knows who is his regular customers(hence, he spotted that we were new) and makes the newbies love the place as quick as he can. Seriously, folks, I wish I were living in this area. Maybe, I’ve been living in Germany too long that I have been desensitized to typical human friendliness(as Germans tend to be cold in public), but seriously, I love this place, not only for the good food and coffee, but also for the general niceness of the people running this place.
