I brought in my old lock so I could buy a new one which matched the size of existing holes int he door. Even though he could have gotten away with selling me a new, expensive lock, the fellow behind the counter explained that all I needed was a new cylinder. He spent time fixing up my old lock and then showed me the cylinder which was needed and told me how to install it. An $ 80 issue became a $ 20 issue.
This is the exact reason why I give my business to local hardware stores rather than the big alternatives. You just can’t get that level of personal service anywhere else.

Having visited twice for hardware needs, this place has a lot of useful items that are needed in and around the home. Moreover, the men who work here are extremely helpful in figuring out what to buy and how to use the items. I was glad for someone to direct me to where to go to buy air conditioner supports and air mattress for our guests. I also was happy to see there are so many things here that are great for fixing up a home or improving upon current furnishings. We saw sandpaper, shelves, paint, and even insect repellent. I noticed a key making machine as well.
