This is my go to drugstore near me. The workers seem pretty nice. It’s always clean. They have what I need, in most cases.

Slowest DR photo pickup of all time, with nonchalant staff at every turn.

It’s been a few months since the cashier passed me a counterfeit bill in my change. Needless to say, there was no satisfaction. I ate the loss. Did I contact Duane Reade customer service? Yes. Sent them a detailed email with the store number, date of transaction, what happened, etc. I requested a store credit, and offered to mail them the counterfeit bill. Their response: absolutely nothing. How much money have I spent at Duane Reade since this situation? Zero($ 0) dollars. How many people have I told this story to? Many. Was this the first horrible experience at this Jackson Heights Duane Reade store? No. Duane Reade/Walgreens — if you read this, I am still willing to forgive and update this review — if you will reimburse me for the COUNTERFEITBILLTHATYOUGAVEMEANDREFUSETOADMIT. Shame on you Jackson Heights Duane Reade. You are dishonest and cowardly. A disgrace to the neighborhood.

The worst prices in the neighborhood! Please avoid this store at all costs, on top of that they always ask you about the«store card» — the most annoying practice, customers do not care about store cards, If customers want to save money they will do comparison shopping.

The rudest employees I have ever experienced. I’ve only lived in the area for 2 months and I despise the fact this is my nearest drug store. Super slow, always a line, last time I went my cashier didn’t even say hello to me though I said hi to her, this Korean woman three cashiers down was holding up a huge line because she wanted to buy ice cream on sale, but didn’t have a member ship card. Finally my cashier speaks to me, and asks for MYCARD so we can help this woman get discount on ice cream. I said no because I only punch in my cell number in to get any discounts and I waited too long and was in a rush. My cashier again IGNORES me and asks me two more times for my card, like she was demanding it, while this woman holds up a huge line for 1.00 off ice cream. I cussed out the cashiers. This place is ridiculously ignorant

Pharmacy here is terrible. The one on 82nd st is so much better. I used to work in a pharmacy and their wait times are ridiculous, the tech is totally unfriendly, which I wouldn’t care about he were efficient and competent, but he was neither.

This is the most horrible DR ever but it’s the closest to my home. The cashiers are poorly trained and customer service is just outright nasty and rude. I shop here often because they are 24⁄7 and they are just a few blocks away. At this rate, I should just bring my lazy ass to the DR on 82nd street or Walgreens on 78th. The prices are mostly outrageously high. They only thing worth getting are the sale items on the weekly ad but what is the point of that when everything on sale is almost always out of stock? Smh.

Very expensive, if you want anything luxury. The staff is nice, but there is usually a line when I arrive unless it’s the early morning. I get the usual household products here. It is really organized and pretty expansive.

Has to be one of the dingiest Duane Reade stores that I have visited. Shelves look poorly stocked in some isles, the complexion of the place seems dreary. Surprised at the management of the lines at check out. Took forever to get out of here.

They NEVER have baby formula. They have the weird varieties for fussy babies but never the plain similac or enfamil in powder. Always out of stock. It’s not too crowded though — that’s the best part.

SO not a fan of this particular Duane Reade. Customer Service is meh, selection of products is meh compared to other Duane Reades and when there is a line, rest assured they will take FOREVER. I mean, I’ve waited like 15 minutes just to get medicine because A.) Their cashiers are slow and management is either nowhere to be found, too lazy to pitch in and awful at line management(or managing things in general, lol) and B.) They’re so conveniently close to the trains and 24 hours. Save yourself the aggravation Jackson Heights, and walk a little more to CVS or Rite Aid or even better — the Duane Reade on 82nd street, it’s closer to the train and SO much better! Your future-self will thank me :).

3 stars for 24hrs service. Pharmacy takes about 2 hrs to give prescription. Over priced.

Duane Reade, you are so overpriced, I wish you were a CVS. The only thing you have going for you is the Blockbuster movie kiosk.

This Duane Reade sucks major ass for a variety of reasons. 1.) The management is shit. The employees are not trained to handle customers that are«ready to pay» 2.) The lines are always long and the cashiers don’t manage the morons who try to cut 3.) Once in awhile a «manager» will ring people up but will stop suddenly even though there’s still a long line. Lazy ass. 4.) Overpriced!!! The one on 82nd Street is completely opposite.

Ugh, I hate it here although I visit it often and appreciate that it’s open 24 hours. The morning staff is always nicer and more helpful than staff at any other time. The pharmacy is a nightmare and after a few months of getting prescriptions filled there, I took my prescriptions elsewhere. Duane Reade is super over-priced and the mass insanity and disorganization of this one makes it even worse. Also, this Duane Read is in Jackson Heights… not Flushing.
