We moved into this area a couple of months ago and were looking for a new place to eat. My wife took me to this small buffet called Aroma Brazil and fell in love. The skirt steak from the grill is to die for!!!’

Good food, though some of it is a bit dry. Still, huge quantities for a decent price? I’m a fan.

Standard Brazilian bbq. Plus for the inviting, clean space and friendly staff. Unfortunately, many items on the barbecue menu are often unavailable. Other times, they are simply overcooked.

Came across this place by accident and did not leave disappointed! The bbq was spot on, some things were unavailable, however I assume this is because their food is so amazing it sold out! The meat was falling perfectly off the bone. The buffet could probably be bigger if I had to nit pick something and the flan was okay, kind of hard. If you’re going to dine here, definitely dabble in their fresh fruit juices. The guava and mint was so refreshing on a warm sunny day! I literally wish I could have these juices everyday. Unfortunately I live on the other side of the world, in CT. I am going to have to remember this place for when I return. OH, and also try the passion fruit mousse — mouthwatering good! So yeah, stop here for sure and enjoy!

Came here a little over a week after returning home from a trip to Brazil and absolutely loved it! Tri-tip steak and sausages were amazing, and everything at the buffet was great too. Excellent feijoada, sweet plantains, and fried fish. Bacon-wrapped chicken was good, but not as good as the red meat. Would gladly come here any day and skip high-priced steakhouses. Quality is great, and price is even better. And the staff are super nice. Will definitely be back often.

Ooooh, a food by the pound in Jackson Heights. So this place is more like a 3.5 but room for a lot of potential especially since they are new. Everything felt greasy but the seasoning was great, I did have an issue with some of the white rice being crunchy. It was also kinda surprising that most of the meats came off a tad sweet. The food: Short ribs– Was so tender and good, it was a tad sweet but and on the greasy side but still so good. Spicy sausage– I really liked the chorizo, it had a great snap and flavor Oxtail– Automatically really good Salmon– The salmon was overcooked but had nice flavor, it had a nice sweet and sour flavor . Skirt steak– It was over done and chewy. Tomato and Cucumber salad– This was great, it was super refreshing, it kinda felt like a Greek salad without the feta.

This place is awesome. An authentic selection of brazilian starches, veggies and grilled meats. Their tri tip was a little underseasoned but I really loved the pork sausage, that was delicious as it is. Also I loved the chayote salad, cauliflower gratin, and rice with gravy. My plate was just a hair over $ 11 and was perfect in size for me. Good deal considering I can choose exactly what I want, and for the weight I probably could have gotten a little more meat and still paid the same per pound price(they penalize you if they judge your plate to have way too much meat and too little other stuff.) Nice to have in the hood, sooooo many choices!

Excellent place with healthy selections. Had the skirt steak and some quinoa with sweet potato, mixed greens and some other stuff I can’t remember. 4 stars only because the food was a bit cold. Still very tasty. Décor was nice, host was accommodating and the price was cheap. I’ll be back!

The food is always amazing! They continuously have a very big variety and everything is always fresh! From Quinoa to pork loin.. to passion fruit mouse to paella… They literally have it all. They have never failed to disappoint! It’s a great place overall. Love coming here because you’ll never know what delicious food is available to try next!

This relatively new pay-by-pound spot is similar to those in Astoria offering grilled meats and an area with steam table fare and salads. The short rib was the best of the meats. The chicken with bacon was very flavorful and juicy too. One inexplicable disappointment was the top sirloin, which just seemed like low-quality meat with a gritty flavor. On the other hand, the salads were better than expected — a green one(kale?) and a bean salad. I enjoyed the bottled cashew drink.

Rule of thumb when faced with a buffet place: NEVER come close to closing time. The food on the displays will be less than fresh, no matter how good it looks or how much they warm it. My wife and I came on the Saturday night after 2016 New Year’s at about 8:30PM. I initially chose the pork loin that was on the displays. Sweetheart chose the beef on the same containers. The rice was decent and the black beans were great. The salad was decent too — we didn’t expect it to be warm, just not worn. However, once we realized that the back window was not just for turning in your dirty dishes but also for ordering meat fresh from the grill, we ordered a few bits of BBQ chicken, meat and lamb cuts. We specially liked the lamb and the chicken but the skirt steak was cooked medium — not so much amenable to our palates.(As everyone else has said, the dishes are weighed, and this FYI is actually done in Brazil; we went to Rio two years ago to eat the real thing. However the upscale barbecue places actually have the waiters bring the meat skewers to your table and put the meat on your plate as much as you want.) The place itself has an inviting scenery and Brazilian pop music is played. They will signal closing time by turning the music off. One problem I saw was the cold draft from the outside — the door does have a canopy to prevent drafts from coming in but many people just hold BOTH doors too long, defeating the purpose. Good experience, could have been better if we had showed up earlier and if we had ordered more fresh-BBQ meat than we’d have liked, but we definitely recommend this place for an amazing Brazilian bite.

Service was good and buffet bar was pretty clean but the selection was fairly limited and the grilled meats were overcooked. I tried the lamb which I asked for medium rare but it was cut well done. The skirt steak was closer to medium but it was ok. The cheese bread and salmon was pretty good but the rest of the items were average. They also charge you by the pound and my plate was around $ 10 which was not bad.

Finally a Brazilian spot in Jackson Heights! This place is a block away from 74thst Roosevelt Avenue train station. Their staff is very welcoming and are very knowledgeable about the food they service. Its weighed so be mindful how much you pile on with bone meats. Beyond that, I would definitely try their potato salad, chopped kale salad, and most definitely their BBQ(it varies everyday on their buffet table, but they have a consistent list of meats by their kitchen area). Feast on and pile on!

My second time here and I have to say I’m going to end up being a regular here. The food tastes amazing, the staff are so friendly and polite, the restaurant is always clean and it’s affordable. I have nothing bad to say about this place and I’m so glad that it’s near my house there are no Brazilian restaurants in The area… I’m very pleased!

OMG. This is a jewel in the middle of a very predictable zone, from the culinary point of view. They have breakfast, but haven’t tried it yet. I went to Aroma Brazil for lunch and dinner and it was great. You can pick between two buffet options, one with grilled meat and the other jus with the options of the salad bar. If you don’t want to eat a lot of grilled meat, the you can have options such as breaded fish, chicken, beef brisket, pork shoulder, rice, salad, sweet plantains, etc. If you want to eat meat, then you have most of the Brazilian cuts, including Picanha, the best of all. They also have alcatra, a very traditional Brazilian cut, skirt, Sirloin, pork and chicken sausage, etc. The prices are a joke. Too low for what they offer. If you are in Jackson Heights, you should give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

3 stars for the freshness and deliciousness. The variety of meats and rice, as well as the vibe of the restaurant. Minus 1 star because it isnt an ALL you can eat buffet as I initially expected. Basically, you pick your choices and it is weighed(So choose carefully) Minus 1 star for no sampling of the food. I wish i knew what the food tastes like before i even try it. I personally am not a big fan of the«pay what your plate weighs» system. I tend to enjoy a fixed price. Love the new taste in JH, just not the buffet system

Not a bone nor a grain of rice left on any plate after this evening’s meal from this buffet-style Brazilian food venue. This is quickly becoming one of our neighborhood food favs. The staff is always nice and accommodating. The place is always clean with a steady flow of folks. Part of my ‘evaluation’ of authentic cultural foods come from who I see eating within. I think those who know Brazil have signed off on this one as ‘the real deal’. Most def worth checking out. Even our cat decided to jump from the sofa right into the table in the middle of our meal to try and steal some!

Its so nice to have a Brazilian restaurant on Roosevelt ave. It’s very clean(which sometimes is hard to find in the area) If you are a meat lover you will love this place, top sirloin and skirt steak are delicious and full of flavor. The buffet items were ok, I wasn’t overly impressed. There’s your standard plantains, rice, chicken, plantains, kale, steamed veggies, etc. The cashier is very friendly and prices are reasonable.
