Clean, well run, change machines that accept larger bills than just a $ 1 bill. About all you could want in a laundromat.

I’ve been here twice to do laundry so far and am pretty satisfied with it. So far, I haven’t seen the place packed, so I didn’t have to wait at all and had plenty of choices for which machine to use. I do laundry in the late morning on weekends though so perhaps everyone else is still sleeping. But either way, late morning seems to be a great time to come here. It’s $ 2.50 per load, and then $ 0.25 for seven minutes of drying with a heat selection. That’s not too different from what I paid in the past. I tend to do laundry once every 2 – 3 weeks so I need two washers to fit everything, but I usually separate stuff anyway. The driers are more than big enough to fit multiple loads so I just threw everything into one and let it go for about 30 minutes. Seems like a short amount of time but it got it all dry for me, despite it being three weeks worth of clothes. There’s also detergent dispensers, a change machine, a vending machine, and plenty of tables for folding. There’s plenty of parking, either in the lot or on the street. And you can walk to Lincoln Street Diner or Northstar to kill time. There’s probably a laundromat closer to my apartment which doesn’t show up on Unilocal or Google Maps but I think I’ll stick with coming here anyway.

*very clean *inexpensive Truly on of the better laundromats I have used in our travels. If you are using it in the summer you might want to come early in the morning or later at night. There isn’t any a/c and it gets a bit warm in there when all the dryers are going.

Regularly voted the«Best of» laundromat in Ithaca. Self-service only laundry with top and front loaders as well as four large capacity and two extra large capacity front loaders. Plenty of dryers and folding tables. Always clean and operational. Two doors down from the Lincoln Street Diner and a block away from the Fall Creek House. You can eat and/or drink while you do your laundry. Open at 6:00 am and last load in at 11:00 pm. Doors lock at midnight. No attendants on duty but during the day you can usually find a cleaner/maintenance worker.
