It’s a «Fairfield«you will never be disappointed. Very clean, Very friendly. Big rooms. Standard restaurants within walking distance. Great breakfast.

Extremely clean in every aspect, the elevators, walls, rugs, rooms. The necessities are here, including breakfast, coffee, shower stuff… Comfortable room; very comfy mattress. Staff is friendly & helpful. Def stay here again when coming to school.

Clean, comfortable room. Nice mattress. The rooms seem to be very well insulated so they are quiet and feel very private. Good location and easy parking. Most of the staff is very nice. We only encountered one woman at the front desk who was unhelpful during our weeklong stay. Pretty good breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for Ithaca alumni weekend. Brand new property not like the old Fairfield. Very spacious room and a good free breakfast. Free Wifi. Staff is welcoming. Small gym with no weights just cardio equipment. Not really within walking distance of town or campuses but plenty of shopping and food close by.

I can’t comment on price, because I was in Cornell on business through my company. However, I found this hotel to be pretty nice. The place is about a 15 minute drive to Cornell and barely 10 minutes from downtown Ithaca. It’s situated a bit past a shopping center with grocery store, drug store, and places like Moes, Panera, Chipotle, Five Guys, etc… The rooms are a nice size with a fridge and microwave. I was in a small suite with a queen bed and a sitting room with couch and 2nd tv. The hotel and amenities all look new and the staff was very friendly. Of definitely stay here again.

Super clean and comfortable room, plus the staff was incredibly nice. They greeted us as we checked in and let us choose any floor we wanted, joked around with us and made us feel very welcome. The downsides were that the bathroom wallpaper in 425 looked dirty and the mixed fruit was completely empty by 8:45am for the continental breakfast and never got refilled, but I guess the massive pile of bacon made up for that. Overall it was a great stay, I have upcoming reservations again for the coveted graduation weekend and I am looking forward to coming back.

Brand new hotel opened over the summer! Rooms are clean place is bright and fresh! Management is very nice as well as all staff, breakfast is hit or miss. I don’t care for the bacon or the sausage, the eggs are pretty good! The gym is good but the con is that the built in TV volume doesn’t work unless you have headphones! This is our corporate hotel we stay at every time we are in the area! Its also central to restaurants, shopping, etc etc. Wifi is very fast, beds are extremely comfy too! Tip ask for a room in the far back AWAY from traffic or you wont be able to sleep!

On my first stay at a Marriott property(I am a Gold member with Hilton Honors), I must say I had the worst experience ever. I booked this property because it was close to my meetings, the building is new, and I wanted to give Marriott a chance. Here were the problems with my stay: 1) The parking lot and lobby are sloppy and dirty 2) I woke up looking to shower, I let the water run for about 10 minutes but it stays ice cold. 3) i went to the front desk and inquired about the hot water issue, immediately the person there(Jack Murphy, General Manager) started out with…“what if I give you a compensation in rewards points?” As a business traveler, I was insulted; I am not looking for points compensation, I wanted to take a shower and get ready for my meetings! About 15 minutes later, he came back stating he tested the next room and the water is fine. I went over to that room, 1 minute into the shower(which was luke-warm at most), the water turns ice cold again. LUCKILY i was able to wash off all the shampoo. Even in October, the Ithaca area is really cold in the mornings(~40 degrees). I couldn’t waste anymore time so i decided to just get dressed and leave the property. 4) The GM Jack Murphy stated that this was solely a problem with the distribution of hot water since many customers showers in the morning. WHATISTHIS? A ROADSIDEINN?! He assured me that he will compensate my night in miles to my account in 1 to 2 business days. A full week has passed and I have yet to see anything. IFTHEPROPERTYISNOTREADY, FAIRFIELDSHOULDNOTBEACCOMMODATINGTHATMANYCUSTOMERS. IFTHEMANAGEMENTISNOTUPTOIT, THEYSHOULDNOTBEPROMOTEDTOTHATPOSITION.

The new Fairfields are excellent. This one was only 6 weeks old when I stayed. Nice walk in shower which is great for new hotels. Who really wants a bathtub? Staff was very friendly and helpful with dinner suggestions. They have a nice pool. Fitness center has 1 elliptical and 2 treadmills. That’s it. Internet service is a bit slow when there are more than a few people logged on. Breakfast was nice. Hot scrambled eggs, oatmeal, bacon, cold cereals, fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee. Fry your own waffles. I didn’t see the typical Jimmy Dean sandwiches they have at other Fairfields.
