T.G.I Friday’s

Pleasant atmosphere. Good service, cheerful waiters. Great, tasty, hot food… cold beverages! Awesomw place to meet friends and family for lunch!

Good service but lousy food. Hamburger sliders Overcooked small portions, everyone’s meal was just average. Loud music in the bar area couldn’t sit there.

T.G.I.F. what to say about it, a usually decent franchise that I don’t mind going to but was disappointed little when we went for the hockey game. I don’t remember the last time I hate here but I remember why I don’t usually order food here. The drink specials are OK, $ 3-​$ 4 large light beers, $ 5 whiskey, but the food is crazy over priced. We started with the $ 5 app pot stickers which come with 6. They could have been crispier but what do you expect.
My girlfriend enjoyed the option of customizing her own burger and I ordered the sizzling chicken and spinach. Overpriced at $ 16 for a small chicken breast, about 4 slices of zucchini, a little spinach, with a side of tomato salad with two mozzarella balls. The smallest plate of food with over cooked chicken that was way to salty and rubbery was not worth the price.
The only reason this place doesn’t get 1 star is the drink specials aren’t bad. I would not order food here again, my bill for the two of us was way to much for me to come back. Plus the receipt did not show what we ordered line by line which is sneaky being then can over charge customers anytime they wanted.

I went there on a Wednesday at 12:25PM. Lunch time right? Not at this TGIF. The place was half empty and myself and my friend were told we would have to wait 10 minutes to be seated. The wait staff was over whelmed. I asked to just be seated and order a drink, we were told to go to the bar, they did not want to put us at a table. We finally were seated, the service was extremely slow, the food was cold. Overall a very bad experience, not sure what happened to this TGIF

No complaints. Ordered food at bar from app menu. Mozz sticks and bbq chicken Flatbread. Both came out fairly quickly and were cooked correctly. Staff was polite and attentive. Would go back for another visit.

Food and service was awful. Our seats were dirty, as was our silverware. Food came out at all different times and my appetizer was burnt. They left the dirty appetizer plates to pile up while we were still eating, we had to ask them to take them away. The restaurant was not busy and the staff was so slow. I’m not one to write reviews but this experience was so terrible– I will not return.

We visited this Friday’s and the service was atrocious. The place was empty and it still took 5 minutes to be seated. Then we waited another 8 minutes for someone to take a drink order, totally ridiculous for a place running at 20% capacity. The food was good but not good enough to make up for lousy service. We waited another 10 minutes to get the bill which not surprisingly was wrong. We had to ask for it to be adjusted which they took care of. Overall very slow and were not happy.

Oreo Madness — why do you have to be so decadent and delicious? I swear my kids won’t let me leave this place without ordering one. And I’m pretty sure it’s the reason they keep wanting to go back. In my family, it’s definitely the star of the show. The entrees were pretty tasty too. In fact, I think I have a pretty healthy (or unhealthy depending on how you look at it) relationship with Mr. Jack Daniels. Our servers are always friendly but can be a bit on the slow side at times. Friday’s is close, convenient, and has good food. I keep coming back and spending money there so they must be doing something right!

OMG. This is my favorite place in the world. I love their jack Daniels sauce. It’s a unique flavor that i have yet to taste anywhere else. Appetizers are bomb the pricing is really good and the staff is always friendly. Love this place, it’s one of my favorites

Update: What an improvement. They apparently changed their management and much of their staff. We decided to give them a try after some time had lapsed after my one-​star rating and they emailed s coupon for a free entrée.
The hostess was cheery and actually made us feel good about our 10 minute wait that really was only about 5 minutes long. Our waitress was exceptional and, again, cheery.
Our drinks arrived quickly, if a little light on the content and heavy on the ice for our first one but the next ones were done very well.
The food was prepared very well, a huge change from our last visit.
I hope that the keep the quality up! Give them a try!

For what it is it’s very clean nice and accommodating plus they have good specials at the bar.

When ever I go to Friday’s at another location I always get the Jack Daniels Sampler and sub the jack chicken for buffalo chicken. I was able to do that at this location once before. I had offered to pay the difference and was declined to make that change as per the manager I would have to order the buffalo chicken as an appetizer. This is poor management and a good way to lose customers. I would have left but my wife is really hungry and pregnant so I just ordered something else. This location will never see my business again thanks to the excellent manager who worked today.

I love me some Fridays! — — — — — — – endless appetizers are the best! Get some drinks with friends too. They are delish.

The music was so loud that it was absurd. We had to get up and leave. The waiter seemed nice enough, he tried to sit us away from the speaker, but it was still ridiculous. Who manages this place? Maybe if it was a Friday or Saturday night, but before 8pm on a Thursday… Not cool.

Do you enjoy slow, unorganized service? Food that takes eternity to get to your table? A manager whose outfit selection rivals the homeless? If so, Fridays in Islandia is for you! Get ready to lower your standards and dine in a state of total disappointment. Food was luke warm, waitress was sub par.

Working evening hours, I like to go out for a bite to eat and a few drinks. Unfortunately, on the Island there are not to many places that serves both past 11pm, especially during the week. Rather than heading into Manhattan after work (which I sometimes do), where there are late-​night eateries abound, I’ll head here.
The food here is what it is, which is small step above fast-​food. The burgers here are better than decent, the sirloin not bad for Fridays. Everything else is pretty meh.
Service is pretty spot on for the most part, although from visiting often, I know most of the severs and bartenders on a first name basis which results in some very personalized service and hooked up cocktails.
An added plus is that they just updated the décor here which I have to say is pretty modern and stylish. Very nice touch!
My only complaint: BRING BACK THE FAJITAS!!! For fuck sake!

My girlfriend loves TGI Fridays, so we went there for her birthday. Boy, was that a bad decision.
This particular Fridays –the Islandia location– was terrible on virtually all fronts. –The service was lousy: no table settings; approximately 10 minutes for drinks; 15 minutes to get a refill; waitress was nowhere to be found when we needed napkins.
–The food was subpar: it took at least 30 minutes to get our food; some (more than half) of the food was just a few degrees above room temperature; the overall quality of the food was below average (by Friday’s standards).
–The bathroom’s were disgusting: other than the fact that the bathroom’s looked like they weren’t cleaned since the previous night –the bathroom itself was very cold (I guess the heat was broken); there was no hot water to wash hands; there were no paper towels to dry hands.
It was just a terrible overall experience. This was around 9pm on a Sunday night. Our waitress was «nice,» but other than that she wasn’t on top of her game. In fact, I saw the hostess a lot more than the waitress.
The restaurant was pretty empty, so we couldn’t really find any reason for the poor experience other than poor management/​performance. It’s a shame it was a special occasion, too.

They did accommodate a large party around rush hour on a weekday. Service was fine & no major issues here. There was also no disrespect or rudeness to a group dealing with lots of heavy issues so you have to give them credit for that.
Food was what you’d expect at any other Friday’s. It seems they’ve tweaked their menu since I’ve been to a Fridays so you may want to check that when going to other locations.

Chicken tortilla soup was room temp. Service was slow for a half empty restaurant.

It is a Fridays. It wasn’t as bad as the other reviews said.
