Yum yum yum! I used to work near here and this was my favorite place to go to! I always order the fish plate– it is so yummy! It’s about 8 – 9 dollars and you get pretty good variety of dishes. You get a salad, a choice of white rice or cracked wheat(I recommend the cracked wheat), hummus or baba ganoush and a pita. I always like to eat my plate with peppercinis, and when I’m feeling like I wanna splurge, I get myself some falafel too! Their service is fast, but all they do is pretty much bring you the food. It’s one of those sit down restaurants. Definitely good for a quick lunch with your coworkers & would recommend it.

The food takes a long time. The taste is average, but the service is great. The ladies are super nice. However I do like the rice. The beef was tender but lacking in flavor. The garlic sauce thing was not as good as other places I have tried

WARMIN’ UPTHETUMMY&WAKIN’ UPTHETASTEBUDS! BACKGROUND: Pitas To Go serves the finest authentic Mediterranean dishes, made from scratch, with great emphasis on excellent quality and absolute freshness, using age old recipes containing natural ingredients and exotic spices. At Pitas To Go, the focus is to provide our customers with the healthy, flavorful Mediterranean dishes. We invite you to come and experience the taste of the Mediterranean delights. Pitas To Go offers Catering and Special Event Platters to complement any occasion. In addition to catering for business meetings, we also offer specialty platters prepared to be pleasing to the eye as well as delectable to the taste. STATS: In a strip mall Plenty of free parking Walk up to order Food brought to table EXPERIENCE: Brought The Crew here to start off an urban adventurous day. What a quaint little place, with some tables and chairs fit for two or more, so bright inside from the natural sun, and clean as a whistle. Their offerings of wraps, salads, kabobs, and sides are listed, along with some pics, on a large board above prep area, as well as handheld menus next to the register. As The Crew ordered, I pulled tables together to make chowing a more family affair. Food was delivered by friendly staff members hot and fast. Being the only foodie in da house, and being among«family», I took it upon myself to taste everyone’s dishes, except for the beef, and there were a lot of dishes. Wraps and colorful kabob plates filled the tables. The chicken was tender, juicy and full of flavor, chickpeas were nearly perfectly blended with tahini and garlic, and the right amount of oils to make this a pita dippin’ great side dish. There was no swimming in the salads. There was a good ratio of lettuce with other add-ins and was lightly drizzled with dressing. The Baba Ghannoosh was roasted and mixed well with garlic and lemon juice. Although I didn’t scout out this place before bringing The Crew here, I chose this place for several reasons. One, it offered vegetarian eats for the veggie member, two, it was in close proximity to our second stop of the day, and three, Pitas to go offers good sized portions, great variety and flavorful eats, all at reasonable prices. The Crew’s tummys and taste buds, as well as wallets were very satisfied. If ever in the neighborhood again, I would definitely come back.

I work right down the street from here and I called in my order ahead of time. The man I spoke with let me know my food would be ready in 10 min. I waited a few minutes before checking out for lunch and got there right as they were packing my food. The two people(the man I spoke with on the phone and a young lady) that were working there greeted me as soon as I entered. They were both very sweet. I ended up ordering a Chicken Plate and it was so yummy! I absolutely love pita and humid and their side salad was great too! Definitely going back! ^.^

Probably my favorite Mediterranean food place! The food is always good and the workers are nice too. The hummus is my favorite so I always order the larger size to take home with some pita chips.

Wow is more of the word I would choose for this place. The food is great and the owner is the kindest most caring business owner I have ever met, he feels the best of of seeing you happy and satisfied even if that mean he has to stay after work and make the food himself. My wife was craving their famous Greek Chicken Salad but I was too busy working on the project car I had just purchased so being am the car fanatic that I am I lost track of time and guess what that means if you are married, yup you guessed it the couch lol, so I jump into the car pedal to the floor but even with that I arrived at 5:14p but they close at 5 as I pulled up the employees left but I snuck in and guess what he didn’t hesitate to make me the salads and save me from the well you know. So all in all this has always been the best place with delicious food and I’m pretty picky myself but I would not hesitate to tell everyone about this place so if you are ever around and want a good bite to eat stop by this place as you will be treated with out most welcome and delicious food just make sure you are on time can’t guarantee you will get as lucky and yes I mean lucky… NOWGOGETYOURSELFSOGREATFOOD!!!

Wow this was good, I wasn’t expecting that. From the outside it doesn’t look good. It’s in a strip mall in the middle of nowhere next to a Jimmy Johns and Farmer Boys. My brother told me it was good and I trust his opinion, but I was still skeptical. It’s Pittas to Go, I mean come on. But they sure showed me. I got the beef shawarma plate with cracked wheat. The beef was just great. Very nutmegy and flavorful. The hummus was nutmeg heavy too but I dug it. Clean, simple salad. The cracked wheat surprised me the most though. I’ve never had cracked wheat that tasted so good. It blew me away. My brother’s chicken was good, just a little over cooked, but he said that was the first time he had encountered that. Overall it was a great experience. I can’t wait to try more on their menu.

I’ve always driven past this place on the way to Covina, but today, I finally got around to trying Pitas To Go because I was sick of hamburgers(yeah, I live in one of THOSE households). I called my order in since I wasn’t in the mood for waiting. Let me tell you, Arrow Hwy is packed from 2 p.m. till like… 6 p.m. I ain’t trying to wither up and die in Irwindale. Within 15 minutes, my order was ready! I ordered the chicken kabob plate and was pleasantly surprised by the portion size. Why is it that when you see it on websites, food portions always seem so small? I made a mental note to share with my mom after finding out how big the plate was, but it was just too damn good. It came with a side salad, hummus, and pita on the side. You even get a choice of what rice you want. Anyway, mom came home, and of course, she’s picking and dipping and whatnot. I looked at my mom and I was like, «GIRLIFYOUWANTEDSOME, YOUSHOULD’VEASKED.» But to no avail. She reminded me of my origins and where my dying place would be if I gave her lip ever again. Rightly so. So far, two thumbs up from both me and my mom. As for my bro’s falafel wrap, well, that’s gone now, so I’m assuming it was good. :P My brother is a picky eater and isn’t a vegetarian either, so for him to not notice that there wasn’t any meat… I guess that speaks volumes about how it was prepared. Would DEFINITELY return.

Food is always fresh and tasty. I come here during my lunch break at least once per week. Its my go to spot when i dont bring lunch from home. I usually get the chicken plate. A few times the chicken has been a bit rubbery which is why i didnt give it 5 stars.

Discovered this place a couple of months ago. I always get the small Greek salad add chicken. Every time I have had it it is the same quality as the last time! It’s amazing! All of the ingredients are fresh and I love the feta cheese cubes! Small salad with chicken and a drink, $ 8. Fast, clean and good food. You can’t beat that!

I love this place! It’s yummy, reasonable and quick. Be sure to ask for the garlic sauce. Its 50 cents extra but well worth it.

Got the chicken plate here with hummus and a salad. Horrible. The hummus was grainy and just not good at all. Store bought tasted better. The chicken was alright I’ve had sooooo much better flavor was def lacking and It wasn’t tender. Also the reason for the 1 star mainly In addition to the bad food was for their garlic sauce. I love sauce and I don’t think people should have to pay for more unless they want an extra bottle. Anyways I ordered 3 extra sauces and why??? Because they don’t even fill up a whole container. But charge 50 cents each. How convenient for them to just eat up more money. Not that I care to pay extra for sauce but at least fill it up if you’re going to charge. I don’t need it ¼ full in each one. Especially since the medi place by my house is 100 times better than this. They don’t charge for the garlic sauce and I only need 1 extra & it’s filled all the way and enough for me. Never going to come back here again. Super disappointed.

Decided to try this place since Janet’s was closed– and boy am I glad I did! I ordered the chicken kabob plate. It came with brown rice, salad, hummus, pita bread, & garlic sauce. This is the only Mediterranean place I know that lets you opt for brown rice! This place will definitely be my go-to place for Mediterranean food from now on! Not to mention the two men working were very nice– great food, great service, & at an affordable price! I’ll definitely make the drive out here again! :)
