Good food for a buffet. Everything was very tasty and gives you an opportunity to taste a little of everything. I will return.

If you love Mediterranean food I would definitely recommend this place. I had been to the Ali Baba in Richardson and the Terra in ft worth, but last night was my first time at the one in las Colinas. And let me tell you that even though the food and service is good at all locations, this location is just phenomenal. Our waitress Karen was on top of everything, she provided us excellent service and the food was just spectacular. Due to our 5 star experience from last night, my husband and I decided to come back tonight, and I was impressed with everything once again! Everyone so friendly and on top of things. I would give this place a 10 star if I could! Definitely gonna keep coming here!

Came here around right before the lunch crowd. When you enter you have a tiny waiting area and there’s a front desk where you pay before you even get seated. At lunch time it’s $ 14, pretty expensive. Come to think of it I wish I ordered a soda instead of a water. They have 3 buffet areas and I think a lot of items are duplicated. To name off a few things, they had gyro meat, pita bread, tabouli, hummus, kafta kabob, rice, saffron chicken, potatoes, veggies, salads and soups. One thing I did not like is that they put their gyro meat in the smallest container and so it empties out real fast and your either left stuck waiting for more or you don’t get any. The service was great and they picked up dirty plates frequently. I do not think this buffet is worth $ 14 at all… And that’s during lunch. I really have no complaints about the food just the price and the small tray of gyro meat that was constantly out.

What a terrific neighborhood find! Friendly service from Christy at the bar — the hummus was delicious! I had the grilled shrimp kabob and the veggies and saffron rice that came with it were fabulous! Wish we had one of these restaurants in West Plano. We will have to find an excuse to return and try other entrees!

The house hummus and calamari are a must have! Ordered the Gyro and Grilled Shrimp. Excellent choices with ample, share size entrée’s! The saffron rice and grilled veggies on the side are fantastic. Be sure to sit at the bar for attentive service from Christy. A great place with multiple sister locations throughout DFW and soon in Austin.

Most amazing experience! We showed up around 8:55 and the place closes at 9:30 the manager was one of the nicest and most refreshing people to deal with DEFINITELY made us feel more than welcome and kept checking in with us on every single occasion she was very engaging. This hasn’t even begun to talk about how good the food was, every thing ordered was absolutely great! I will definitely be back and with friends. My brother eats at their other location all the time, he talks equally as highly about that location!

This location is much nicer than the Ali Baba(same company) in Richardson’s 75 corridor. The menu is practically the same, and they also have the popular lunch buffet. But not being a buffet type of person, and coming for dinner, I ordered stuff from the main menu. I had been looking for kibbeh nayeh, and Terra/Ali Baba is one of the few places in the DFW that carries this Lebanese-style beef tartar. And so coming here, I was happy with anticipation on the fact that I would be finally able to order it. Why this dish isn’t popular in beef-loving Texas is beyond me, especially if the dish is more popular in South Florida. And while this place has kibbeh nayeh, I didn’t like that pretty much anything in the menu is not customizable. I had tried to get a sampler platter, and they were not willing to substitute some items. Because of this, I had to order a la carte and ended up ordering too much food. Additionally, they initially charged extra for some items that should have accompanied with some of the dishes, such as pickled vegetables. These are the things I tried: KIBBEHNAYEH: This was good, and best for sharing, and the way it was prepared, it was more like kaftah nayeh(no complaints here though), as the kafta spices and tidbits of diced vegetables were mixed in and through. It was plated nicely, although I was surprised by the strips of jalapeño pepper on top(it was spicy when I bit into it). That part is not traditional. And surprisingly, they don’t have turnips or radishes to accompany with the kibbeh nayeh — there was only mint and onion. This is best eaten with pita bread and with pickled and raw vegetables, and mint — similar in concept in which horseradish usually accompanies beef tartar. BAKEDKIBBEH: Tasty and well-prepared. Also well-plated. This was a good individual-sized dish although it’s also meant for sharing as part of the mezze. This will go out faster than kibbeh nayeh since this is easier to eat, and without pita bread. TABOULI: This chopped parsley/tomato/bulgar salad was okay-good — but really, every Lebanese individual is picky about tabouli. Even if they’re picky about it, this salad always go on the table. It’s either this or the fattoush(lettuce salad with fried pita bits) FRIEDCAULIFLOWER: This was not as tasty as it should have been, but the accompany sauce for it helped. Normally, this is an awesome thing to eat and doesn’t need the sauce. Because of the inability of the place to accommodate or substitute items in the menu to make a desired mezze platter for the table, and because of additional charges, I felt like I was being nickeled and dimed here just for the table to eat what we wanted to eat. They need to work on making a more flexible menu, where we can pick and choose what we want into a platter. Right now, the menu seems to cater to people who do not know what they want. So for now, my search for that perfect Lebanese restaurant that includes kibbeh nayeh in the menu in the DFW area continues, and my go-to place for Lebanese food in general is still that little place in Snider Plaza.

The lunch buffet is a fantastic deal. Everything you can eat at dinner, all for $ 12.50. Includes a drink. The kofta is incredible here.

The food is good. Lunch time is crazy, it is pricey and the staff is not at all accommodating. The buffet is $ 14, so you’d better come hungry. This price includes a drink, but I always drink water so a waste for me. We came with four people before noon on a Wednesday, expecting a fifth person. They refused to seat us at a 5 person table because they were reserving it in case a group of 5 comes. 10 minutes later our 5th person arrives. They won’t allow us to pull up a chair because it’s blocking a walkway. They offer to let her sit two tables over by herself(we can’t all move because apparently this is their waiting area). For the price, I would expect much better service. My co-workers love going here for the food, but I will avoid going back.

The BEST mediterranean food, EVER! Love the buffet with a great number of choices. My only complaint would be the cost of the buffet. The old saying, «you get what you pay for» applies here. Great food! Great service! If you go the buffet, get there early because it jams up after 12N. I usually try to get there at 11:15 — 11:30 to miss the crowd.

If you are craving hummus, don’t go to the store, go here to get the creamiest smoothest hummus with so much flavor and the warmest freshest pita. It pretty much transports you to greece! I went here with my friends spontaneously and I already want to go back! The Greek salad is also good, and if your friend orders the grape leaves you will probably end up eating half of them…(whoops!). Good portions for the price. Expect to leave full and perfectly satisfied in every way with a smile on your face and the extra hummus in a container to go(for later enjoyment of course!)

Hands down one of the best buffets I have ever been to. If you are trying to have your taste buds explode, then come on over to Terra Meds. I have only been here during the lunch buffets specials served only on weekdays. I tried every dish offered on the buffet line, and I have never been so overwhelmed by the different flavors and tastes each dish as to offer. Though minimal selection, its good for me because I got to try all. The servers are always on top of their game despite the rush of people coming in and out of the restaurant. Just bring your appetite and wallet beforehand. Its worth the wait if going during lunch time. A place i will always be returning to.

How does this place have less than a four star current rating? I love this place. Love, love, love. We’re newish(within the past year) to the Mediterranean dining world. And the buffet here keeps calling to me once or twice a month. It is our perfect late brunch for a Saturday. I love rice dishes, so this cuisine was an easy transition. We really like Indian too, but this seems lighter and certainly has less heat. And there’s so much variety that I can’t imagine anything but the buffet. Other than loving it, I’m a bit at a loss for words. My only regret is that it took us this long to find it.

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. The only draw back seems to be the occasional overly popular on Fridays at lunch or the servers being a little busy and missing a refill The food is scrumptious– All quality ingredients and traditional tastes. Friendly staff and almost always lots of food — sometimes a run on gyro lamb. We love this place and return frequently.

I came here because a good friend of mine swears by this place. The lunch buffet is reasonably priced and the quality of the food is pretty good, and not just by buffet standards. There’s a well stocked salad bar, numerous sauces, warm pita bread, and hot soups. But honestly, I’m happiest after I pile up a heaving plate of meat. The gyro meat is my personal favorite as its tender and well seasoned. For the price, quality, and quantity, these guys do a pretty good job.

Okay – this is good. I can get a big plate full of meat and pudding. And don’t think I’m not going to. I am. They have a great selection. I usually put a cup of soup on my plate to try to control my portions, but I just end up going back for seconds… and thirds. I like everything here. But I really like that they keep the gyro meat full. And there’s some big guys who will literally empty the trough with one plate. I’m sure they have to slice non-stop. The food is fresh. Most prepared really well. And there’s a wide variety of salads, veggies and meats. Things you must try are the Saffron Chicken and the Zattar Bread. The chicken is soaked in the rich thick yellow sauce. And I actually forgo the pita bread for the Zattar. It’s great if you get the tomato soup over rich and dip the bread in it. The selection reminds me of the Ali Babba in Lakewood before it closed.(Yes, I cried just a little when I typed that.) And I remember this might have been called Ali Babba when it first opened. Parking in this lot is a pain at any time of day. Get there by 11:30 or be prepared for a wait for a table. Regardless of the official name – it’s Greek Buffet Extravaganza now!

Have come here numerous times for lunch; they offer a pretty solid value with a massive wide selection of authentic food. Their food is always fresh, the hummus and dips are a refreshing way to enjoy your lunch without getting too bogged down. I really liked the gyro meat and some of the chicken dishes they have, they also sometimes have a mushroom soup which is absolutely divine. Great value, if you’re around Irving for lunch, give Terra a try!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, especially considering that it was a buffet. The service was excellent. The food was hot, and frequently refreshed. The fact that they had things like Kibbie, Moussaka, or Saffron Chicken was nice because I don’t see that often(or at all) at other Mediterranean buffets. Of course, the standard fare that one expects to see at a Mediterranean joint(i.e. Gyro, Hummus, Salads) is available as well. I was able to eat a hearty and satisfying meal at Terra with family and friends(on that note, they have a room available for private functions), then get in a car and drive back to Oklahoma City without feeling sleepy. At all. That’s some kind of powerful magic.

Terra quickly became my favorite Mediterranean restaurant soon after moving to the area. I love the hummus here, particularly since it’s served with freshly wood-fire baked pita bread. It is sooo creamy and I think they may use a little more tahini than most other places around here. The gyro platter and Greek salad with a side of gyro meat are my other go-to items. The baked kibbie and kebabs are always very good, as are the falafel, although they are a little grainier than most places I’ve eaten falafel from. There are plenty of vegetarian and Halal options on the menu for those with more specialized dietary needs. I’m not really a fan of buffets, so we always order from the menu or call in for take-out. The service is generally attentive and friendly, and the beverages and pita bread are quick to be refilled if needed. Here’s a tip, although it probably seems obvious: If you call ahead to order, make sure you call the correct location — I accidentally called the Fort Worth location one time, because that was the only number listed on the home page. I had to dig a little deeper before I found the correct one, but only after I had shown up to pick up an order I hadn’t actually made. Apparently it has happened before, because they were extremely helpful, putting my order in right away and calling the other location for me to cancel that order.

Came here for Sunday Brunch. The brother and I liked it very much. I think they recently just started Sunday Brunch buffet, not sure. But it was really good. We liked their Saffron rice and Chicken. The kefta kabob was delicious as well. A lot of variety and we liked the tahini, hummus, and cucumber sauces. Will be back. Natalie M. had reached out to me the last time I reviewed this place so I came back, glad I did.

That buffet tho. I usually don’t frequent buffets– I always end up seeing that one person that doesn’t follow the clean plate rule. then I end up bum rushing them before they contaminate the precious food. This place is all worth it, and I’ve see the staff kabob– block people trying to bring dirty plates up to the line. The lunch rush is no joke– the line is almost always out the door if you don’t make it before 1115. You can stand there drooling at the lucky SOB’s that powered walked in the lot to beat you to the door for up to 30 minutes. Yes it’s worth it. About 12 bucks gets you all access and a drink. The service is always rapid and satisfying(insert dirty joke). I know it’s a buffet, but I always throw a few bucks down for our waiter– I have never had an empty drink. The chicken kabobs are fantastic– char grilled on the outside but tender and juicy inside. The falafel is always crisp, and their pita is plentiful. Here’s my perfect plate– half and half smear of hummus and taziki, chicken kabob and that heavenly roasted cauliflower go swimming in the taziki. I could literally just eat that with a side of pita and not dread returning to work. Try it– but get there early, or really late.

Came here for lunch with some workmates to meet a team from a company we do business with. We were around 12 individuals and had a reserved table. The atmosphere was casual-business…lots of business people stopping by for lunch. The hostess took us to our reserved table quickly, no waiting. The waiter was also quick to give us the drink menu and take our orders. The buffet was great. I was HUNGRY and had at least one of the following on my two trips to the buffet: Salad, Gyros, Baked kibbie, saffron rice, coriander potatoes, roasted cauliflower, chicken kabob, lamb chops, hummus, freshly baked pitta, lemon chicken, Angus Beef Kabobs, rice pudding for dessert. Every one of these was great. I personally liked the baked kibbie. It looks like a brownie but is lamb minced meat… full of flavor. The only downside was the waiter somehow disappeared on us… no water refills, no stopping by to check on us. We had to call one of the other waiters walking by to help us out. Overall, the buffet had a great selection and was worth the drive from Plano!

Food(3.5÷5): For about $ 12 — $ 13 per person, you can have a great Mediterranean lunch buffet. The main buffet lines are in one corner of the restaurant and are split into three islands: 1 island to the hot food and 2 islands for sauces /salad /pita bread. In the hot food area, one side is split for more vegetarian friendly options(e.g., roasted cauliflower, potatoes) and the other side is predominated with meat(e.g., gyro, saffron chicken, roasted chicken). You can easily pair any of these entrees with the saffron rice, which is personally my favorite. Food is relatively hot. The gyro is my favorite meat. Saffron chicken is good as well, but the chicken can run on the dry side sometimes. The other 2 islands will have your accompanying pita bread, hummus, garlic sauce, stuffed grapes, etc. The pita bread is a hit or miss for me. Sometimes they’re still soft, but oftentimes(due to the nature of a buffet) they go a little stale. For your sake, perhaps take one pita bread to test out before you go all-in with a plateful? Service(4⁄5): This place is VERY popular during lunch. Terra is situated in Las Colinas, a hotbed of several corporate offices, so the place is teeming with nearby office workers during their lunch buffet hours. Although the parking lot is huge, be prepared to spend a bit of time finding a spot. I’ve also noticed that if you bring a smaller party, you may get seated quicker. I came in near 12:00pm on a Thursday, and I was seated almost immediately for a party of 2. Terra operates in a pay first, eat later style. You first pay at the hostess table(cost of the buffet will include a drink), and then you are seated. Service while you are eating is very attentive for a buffet. Workers were actively refilling our drinks and taking away our plates while we went to refill. Atmosphere(4⁄5): The restaurant is clean and has a rustic feel to it. For the most part, seating is very open, but I was seated near the oven where the pita bread is warmed up. The seating in this inner curve was a little cramped but it didn’t ruin my experience. Overall, this is a great value for lunch buffet if you’re feeling a little hungry!

No. I’m sorry, but no. Stuck with a toddler in the car in the awful lines for parking at Comic Con this weekend, we decided to take a break to have a nice lunch and try again later. A friend had told me about this«awesome all you can eat Greek place in Irving.» So we came to Terra. The picture basically says it all: there are huge quantities of ketchup, and for the life of me I cannot identify even ONE item in the whole restaurant one would WANT to put ketchup on. The venue is pretty, and the presentation not terrible, they have an open kitchen(ish) with a big oven. It’s buffet, pay as you enter(including tip, which I thought was weird), and a server brings you beverages. I honestly don’t know what type of Mediterranean food they are going for, but no matter which flavor they’re aiming for: they failed. Everything was under seasoned and seriously bland(except the veggie«moussaka,» which was weirdly spicy and basically just chickpeas in warmed tomato juice). The falafel was WHITE on the inside(with one or two flecks of sad green), the kabobs were overdone and under spiced — the chicken had marinated too long in some kind of acid and had become almost powdered. My one holdout was dessert: they had rice pudding on the fruit station, which I was really looking forward to. My husband stopped me from getting a separate bowl, saying«I thought we’d just share.» Normally this would deserve a fork in the eye, because who shares *dessert*?! But it turns out this was a good call. After the under seasoned everything else, I was expecting bland rice pudding. Unfortunately, the«chefs» appear to have reserved their one innovation for dessert. Rose water. Or, as my husband put it: «toilet bowl cleaner.» I’m no hater of rose — I enjoy a nice, aromatic rose water macaron, or tea cookie. But rice pudding?! I don’t know — perhaps if they had advertised it as such I would have handled it better, but gross. No. Sorry, Terra. Not sure who you’re trying to be, but it’s nobody I want to know.

Love the atmosphere of this place. The food is to die for as well! Great lunch buffet for about $ 12−13/person including a drink. My favorite time to go and enjoy the rice, potatoes, and chicken! Dinner is great; good place for a date night. My bf and I had the saffron chicken tonight and it was delicious. Customer service was great as well, which earned the 5 star review ;)
