BEWARE! Overcharged, overpriced, with no results. I will NEVER use or recommend this company to anyone ! Charged twice as much as at least three other companies for freon. Misinformed as to whether or not something could be fixed or not. This company is now written on my list of companies to NEVER EVER call again.

I have had great experiences with this company through the years. It troubles me that all positive reviews are labeled as not recommend, yet the one negative review is so apparent. I’m rating 5 stars due to the not recommended reviews (which are all 5 stars for great service) It’s almost as if Unilocal should be reviewed for not including positive feedback. Spencer’s has always done right by me and my family. I would recommend Spencer to any of my neighbors. It’s not every day you find a good AC company.

Wonderful experience with Spencer Air Conditioning and Heating today. Yesterday we came home to 92 degrees upstairs. Called Spencer Air (on a Sunday) and spoke to someone who took our information. This morning at 730am we received a call from the office that they would call when they were on their way — which they did. Thirty minutes later — Fixed! If you ever need your AC units looked at Spencer Air is the way to go.

I recently had my upstairs and down stairs units replaced with high end carrier infinity systems. Nick educated me on zoning and we ended up installing 7 independent zones throughout the home. It was the best installation and at the absolute best value. We could never consistently heat or cool the entire house. Now thanks to Nick and his team we are within 1 – 2 degrees difference, if any in all rooms.
The system has worked flawlessly and with the energy tracking feature, we have saved on average 40−50% off off our utility. In 6 years we will have our ROI.
I would only recommend Spencer to perform my service or installs. They strive for perfection. They have been in business for 55 years for a reason!

Proceed very cautiously with this business. I have found them to be over priced and under informative. They sold me a Carrier compressor 2 years ago with the understanding it would be warranted for 5 years. It recently failed after only 2 years of service. Now they told me that I only had a one year warranty, which appears nowhere in the paperwork. They refused to honor the warranty and I have been stuck with thousands of dollars in replacement costs. Carrier was no help either, referring me back to Spencer. I will definitely not be using Spencer again — ever.
