Apparently, you can get some rates around $ 40/​night for this hotel. Guess I got robbed.
The hotel is nice but not the nicest. Looks like it has been recently updated. My usual hotel was sold out for the OU/​UT game, but this will do. Room was large, clean and well maintained. Bed was comfortable. TV is still not an LCD. Does have free WiFi.
It’s located close to the airport on the south side which is a plus if you want to avoid construction on the north side and have a rental car to return. It is a bit far to either city unless you will be splitting time in each city and/​or have an early morning flight to catch.
Arrived on a red eye from L.A. and looked like there were hookers hanging out on the fifth floor looking down on the lobby when I got in around 1am or so… need to get rid of that issue.
