I’ve been taking my dog there for daycare for more than one year. Always cheaper if you get ¹⁰⁄₂₀ day package. Never had any problems. Friendly Staff. My dog looks forward every morning. One of best dog care/​boarding around the area.

The reviews are true… your dog will not be playing even a fraction of the time they claim he will be playing. My dog has been to a doggie day care in every city we have lived in. He usually bounds into his daycare and can’t wait to play but here he cowers down and does not want to leave my side. Then I realized why… They put him in a glass box enclosure which is basically a kennel for the beginning of the day, «lunch», and the end of the day. I have never heard of anything so unnecessary and I have never had any other doggie daycare do this. Let the dogs play the whole day! Hello! What really sucks is that I made the mistake of buying the «package» which is like 10 sessions but I can’t force my dog to get dumped into a glass kennel for the majority of the day… so I will just loose the money! All I can say to the business owners is let the dogs play all day… from opening time to closing time… no BS! Too everyone else… if you want your dog confined then take him here.

My shih tzu LOVES going to daycare here! The staff is wonderful! We also use the groomer on site! They are wonderful!!! I highly recommend Pete and Macs!

Pete and Mac’s gave my dog to a STRANGER after mistaking him for another dog. They also SHAVED him because the other dog was supposed to be groomed. My dog ended up being found by microchip at a vet hospital 20 miles away. DO NOT board or groom your dogs here! Thank goodness the other pet’s owner was a decent person. She called to tell them it wasn’t her dog and she was told that she was wrong and they double checked to make sure. i am LIVID! Beware, pet lovers.

Love the people and how they love dogs — HOWEVER, there must be way too many dogs per attendant now. I have noticed many changes in staff over the years so maybe they just have trouble keeping folks.
My dog got bitten there. While I understand this happens, there was a LOT of blood dried to his fur which means it had been there awhile. I did not see it when I initially picked him up but found it once we were in the car and still thought it looked like dried paint but when I started to wipe it off the clot came off and blood starting oozing everywhere. My big problem is they say they looked at the video tapes and saw or heard nothing that leads them to believe it happened there. It did. And since nobody saw or heard anything they cannot possibly protect him from further harm. The injury could have been his eye and where would we be then? This is the second time I have had a dog injured there — but at least the first time they saw it, called me and took measures to clean my boy up. It worked out and let me know that though an incident occurred, someone was looking out and intervened. This time, nobody saw anything.
Worst of all — when I said I did not want to return, it did not bother the manager at all. I walked away from multiple pre-​paid daycares (~$ 150) just because I felt so let down. If the workers I thought so much of can’t protect him, then all the niceness in the world does not matter.

The facilities are excellent — very clean, and quite large. The staff hasn’t been anything short of super friendly and helpful. It’s clear that they enjoy working with animals and love welcoming back regulars. They’ll take you on a guided tour of the facilities at the drop of a hat, and there are so many boarding options, it might make your head spin. Large areas, small areas, areas with TV’s, or areas that allow your furry siblings to interact through a little passageway. Prices for both daycare and boarding aren’t super cheap, but are fair for the caliber of the facility, staff, and level of care. There is an apartment on site so that for any emergency during non-​business hours, someone is there to lend a hand. And if there’s a critical emergency, the building is adjacent to an equestrian facility with a vet on site, so while use of that perk is hopefully never needed, it’s somewhat comforting.
I both like and dislike that they don’t require a «trial visit» — it made it WAY easier for me to take our newest furry family member there somewhat last minute.
I adore that the owners get «report cards» after a day at daycare that describe what their pooch excelled in (barking contest, chase, wrestling, etc) and if there were any issues (shy at first, tired, non-​stop energy, etc). I know many will doubt the legitimacy of such report cards, and to that I’d say 1. based on my knowledge of my dogs, they’re legit and 2. even if they’re not, I enjoy the feeling of someone paying attention to my little boys. Makes you feel like your pup isn’t just another tail in the herd.
