Came with my fiancé and her mom. I had the deluxe pedicure with Lan. She was amazing! My fiancé and her mother both had pedicures and manicures, needless to say they are both satisfied with the service and professionalism the staff provided. Lab took very good care of me and gave me a lengthy calf and foot massage which I’m not sure was included or not. Kelly took care of my fiancé and her mom, they never had their manicures look as glamorous as today! Will come again!

I decided to take my chances and walk in to this nail salon for a manicure. There were three Vietnamese ladies and one gentleman. I got my nails done with Lan who has 20 years of experience. She really took care of my neglected nails and made sure she was not hurting me. There was a bit of a language barrier, but she was sweet. $ 16 for a manicure. I like that the place wasn’t too busy and therefore not stinky. 8 chairs in the back for pedicures. I would recommend!

I don’t get the bad reviews. Honestly, I am a NAIL diva, I try out nail saloons and only go back if I REALLY like the work/price the service is secondary, I rather have good work and fair price. As all TX salons, this one as well doesn’t do duck feet, however, the Pedi spa is AWESOME! Highly recommend. The chairs are great, the polish lasts a LONG time! I always get my nails done from the same guy and he does it perfect. The price is very fair and he does a good work. He also makes me laugh! I can highly recommend it!

In town for a conference, went on a Monday, had to wait a little bit but I had a great basic pedi-with wine! My friends didn’t go too well, make sure you are specific with what kind you want! I would go back!

I went in to get acrylics done — the lady had them halfway down my nail and the coating was over my cuticles even after she drilled them down, they looked horrendous. When I asked her to stop and to take them off, she got mad and drilled off my nails into my nail beds! She even cut my cuticle and had to super glue it 3 times to get it to stop bleeding. They were extremely unapologetic and very rude when I advised of the poor nail treatment. Definitely do not recommend.

Interesting reviews. I’ve been going to Nail Focus for about 6 months now(1x month for an amazing, relaxing, and wonderful). I’m not much of a mani-girl, so it’s full indulgence with a pedi. I always have Lan, she’s great! Every time I come in, I’m greeted with a smile and promptly asked what services I’d like for the day. They have a great selection of color to choose from as well. I’m always offered a beverage and my chair is turned on and the water temp is perfect! Lan gives the best foot/calf massages. Her polishing is always spot on as well! Each time I’ve been in it’s been busy, yet quiet enough to actually relax. I like this salon as it’s not as hoity-toity as say, further north on McArthur(they all seem to have a stick up their butts!!). This salon is clean and well kept, possibly looks a little«dated» but I can definitely over look that because their customer service, actual service, and all the other odds and ends are always spot on! Also– if you bring in your previous file/stone you’ll save $ 1! :) Great salon to relax and get a professional pedi!

I’m giving it two stars and only because of the guy that did my pedicure. He was wonderful! Great pride in his work and nailed my French manicure to a T! Now the girl that did my manicure was the worst manicurist I’ve ever had in my life! She obviously hated her job. She was relaxing in one of the empty pedi chairs when she got told more than three times to do my mani. There was no one in the place and it was 2pm on a Friday… how tired can she be? In any case from the moment she began to do my mani I knew I was in for a ride. She was rough and careless. And needles to say, the endless result was awful. As she was painting my nails, I felt the urge to scream and tell her«Please stop! Please get away from me»! But I mustered through it and let her finish. I didn’t have the time to go anywhere else. I tipped the guy very generously and left her nothing. I don’t know that the owner or anyone in this establishment reads any of the Unilocal comments. But I wish I had read and listened to them myself before I went.

Absolutely love this place! They’re so welcoming, friendly, and let’s be honest I love that I can actually understand them. I always get custom designs. Creative salon! Oh and can’t forget about the wine! Never going anywhere else.

Iris was incredibly rough and unprofessional, using her own fingernail to push back my cuticles. She barked at me to relax my hands the entire time, which was difficult because each finger was left stinging after she filed and trimmed. She did a sloppy job with the gel polish, and when I returned home, I noticed that I had been bleeding. Totally gross. Have my hands in a vat of Neosporin…

This was awful. I was charged $ 40 for a deluxe pedicure while the girl next to me paid $ 25 for a regular pedi– however, I could tell no difference between her service and mine. The manicure I got Was sloppy, and she literally ripped off my cuticles. I could paint my nails better at home– it looks like a 6 year old did them. Save your money and don’t go here!

Please Don’t Go! They over charge for awful services. I tried getting my nails done from 3 different people and all of them were awful. Not sure why I even tried something else but I was persuaded to get eye lash extensions and now I don’t have any. Iris totally yanked them all out«trying» to remove the glue. Now I have to get treatments to fix the one time I let her touch my eye lashes. There are many more other places around this area with better quality. Please avoid this one.

Dangerous! I have been getting Shellac manicures every 2 – 3 weeks for the last 3 years in different salons in Cal & Texas. I went to this place because I flew in early for a work and had a few hours to kill. They used a drill to remove the shellac instead of the soaked cotton swabs and aluminum foil. The manicurist drilled down past my nail bed to the skin! My nails were ruined. I had to just trim my nails and go without polish. The woman didn’t even apologize. She just said«you have thin nails». Later the manager tried to give me 20% off. I have probably been to 30 other salons over the course of the last several years and I was never nervous about trying a new place. Please never go to this salon.

Ok everyone, a few months ago a friend and I went to this place and we were not in the least bit impressed, actually we were opposite of impressed. Fast forward to 6 months later and alas, Linda, miraculously appears! She is super sweet, brings her own products(as the salon does not provide these specific ones for their nail technicians), is super meticulous and friendly. And you know those teaser, hand and arm rub downs you get at other places?!, yeah, Linda is different and really gets deep(but not too deep) into your arms and hands and makes you wonder why she didn’t get into massage instead of nails ;). She’s a treat and loves to chat, so keep this in mind when booking your appointment. This salon also gives you your own personal nail file and buffer when you finish your appointment but the point of this is to bring it back to your next appointment, otherwise you get charged an extra $ 1, just FYI. Happy mani pedi(with Linda, of course) !

I got a pedicure from this place. The lady who did my toes was friendly and she caught on to the fact that I wasn’t a talker so she didn’t bother me. She just asked the important questions about color and type of pedi I wanted. She did a great job as far as I can tell. The TV’s were not on but I did see one in there so I suspect during busier times there is something to watch. The massage chair was not very comfortable when turned on so I left that off. I will probably go back to this place.

I went there today, and iI was impressed with the pedicure. She gave me an extra long massage. She used a new file and buffer and then bagged the file and buffer that they used and gave them to me. The price is a little higher than I normally pay.

I really wouldn’t recommend this place. I got a mani/pedi done and I could have done a better job. My manicure was really sloppy. She didn’t even manicure my cuticles. She just put the oil on them and barely pushed them back with her tools. The pedicure was a little better, but I was horrified when someone else asked her for a tool to scrub someone’s feet with that she had just used on me. They didn’t even sterilize it! Needless to say I will not be going back.

My nails needed some tending to during my recent trip to Texas. I thought Texas would be cheaper than SF, but it wasn’t. I paid $ 42(including tip) for a mani/pedi(pricey for me) but I figured I was on vacation. The service was slower than I’m used to, but she really took her time making sure the job was neat and thorough. She even did a refreshing mint scrub on my legs that left them tingling. My young manicurist/pedicurist wanted to make conversation and ended up telling me her plans for having a baby in her effort to make small talk. I thought that was a little too much information for my tastes. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place since there seem to be plentiful other options nearby.
