Revising my earlier review due to further developments. Getting a second opinion at a different place saved me more than $ 300!!!
Went for an oil change and they told me the brake pads were down to 10% and quoted me more than $ 300 to change them. I told them I’d bring it back later to get that done. Read below to see what happened.
For the oil change, I was told under an hour and was there for well over two, and they kept telling me just a bit longer and it kept dragging on. They said whoever worked on the car previously had put the oil filter cover on too hard and they couldn’t get it off. I had made it clear I had somewhere I needed to be at a certain time. They had promised me a ride if it came to that, and then they strung me along about the ride until the car was finally ready. They did give me a voucher for a free car wash because of the delay. I was about five minutes late to my other appointment.
They do a LOT of upsell so you have to be on your guard. And they’re a bit on the pricey side.
Now, about the brakes. I took the car to a different place because I knew the estimate was too high. I told the other place I’d been informed my brake pads were down to 10% so could they please replace them for me. The guy comes out ten minutes later and says «Your brakes are fine. They’re at 50%.»
So going to get a second opinion instead of taking Kwik Kar’s word for it saved me more than $ 300. I’ve been going to this place for years but no more after this — how can i trust anything they tell me?

Service is great, customer service was spectacular and was offered coffee and donuts on this cold day! I recommend this is where everyone should go! I’m a customer for as long as I can! I definitely will be telling all I can! I met the owner and he is a wonderful person to talk to. There was at least four people in front of me and I STILL only waited 15 mins or less! I will tell everyone I can about this particular location. All things needed and desired when taking care of your car and how you are treated is 5 stars no question! Please everyone, make this your place to go, I promise you will not be disappointed. I have never been to a place where EVERYTHING was on point, in all areas. I truly truly recommend this place to all!

Avoid this place by all means. I took my vehicle to get an oil change. Waited for an hour to be serviced. As soon as they told me the vehicle was ready, I left and sure enough, 45 seconds later, the check engine oil light came on. I pulled off to the side and called them. They sent a mechanic to see what the problem was. He worked on it for three hours and nothing. He changed the oil filter three times and no success. Take note that this vehicle is 2013. Not that old. I had taken my vehicle to this place about four times and they always forget to add coolant, always. Anyway, the problem was that the mechanic at Kwik Kar used the wrong oil filter. The manager then came out and said that he was sorry. He said one mechanic took out the oil filter out and the other didn’t see what kind of oil filter it was. Are you kidding me! Where is the communication! The manager didn’t even offer anything back. What a joke. I spent 7 hours trying to find out what the problem was on my vehicle that day where it shouldn’t have happened in the first place and it should have only taken 1 hour just to get an oil change. Never taking my vehicle to get serviced at this place or any similar establishment ever again…

When I drove up, there were 4 cars being serviced and 3 cars in line. I was worried it would take a little while but they were working on my car within 5 minutes! I needed to have my car inspected as well and forgot my insurance card, and they were so patient while I tried to find it. I told them I would just come back another day and they even offered to call my insurance company to have my card faxed over! (I found it btw, haha) They confirmed what type of oil before they did the change and were very thorough when checking out with everything they did. (what type of oil, how much, tire pressure, wiper blade condition, etc.) The inside waiting room was very clean, had free water and had doughnuts! I would strongly recommend this place.

We have been using their services for years. Even with a owner change a few years ago the high quality service is there. They also do our vehicle inspection. They have been good about only doing service needed. They wash windows and vacuum inside.

I took my car in for an oil change and decided while I was to get the cooling system flush as well. Before flushing it they tested the coolant in my car and advised me that it was in good shape and the flush was not necessary. In my experience of dealing with oil and lube businesses I have encountered many instances where they have tried to ‘up the sale’ but this this is the first one that actually ‘downed the sale’. In doing so, they lost an $ 80 sale today but gained a loyal customer for a long time to come.
