Kathmandu Kitchen is a recently opened carryout/delivery only place that specifically serves food from Nepal. It is located where once the Fatman BBQ used to be. It has a very basic menu but covers all the local favorites. I tried the Veg Momo and traditional Nepalese Chicken thali. The veg momo was good and so was the aachar. The filling was decently spiced and had paneer or tofu with onions, cabbage, carrots and may be some more veg. It was good sized and very inexpensive at 3.99. The aachar was spicy and really good. The thali comes with an assortment of vegetables, in this case, green mustand, potato curry, daal, mulako aachar(fermented radish), fresh cucumber/potato aachar, and papad. The aachars were good and rice was nice and plentiful. However, the chicken was just ok, not too flavorful and oily. I was disappointed with the daal too. The boiled potato veg item was alright. Most of the items felt little less on seasonings. The guys taking order were friendly and they added few extra momos. Overall, it is a very inexpensive place to try some authentic Nepalese food with an option to pick-up or get it delivered.
