Visited for the first time tonight with my husband. I had the lasagna and he had the chicken francaise and both were wonderful. The bread they bring to the table is incredibly addicting, good luck eating just one roll. The service was wonderful, our server was pleasant and very knowledgeable of the menu. We will be back soon to try something new!!!

Oh yes. You can walk up to the counter and get a slice of New York style pizza(the best kind of pizza imo). Their lasagna is good as well… solidly good traditional lasagna. I have only positive things to say. The place is very clean. You order and pay at the counter, find a seat, and they bring it out to you. Everyone here has been nothing but nice to me when I visit. This area needs a fresh new place like this.

I’m surprised at the bad reviews since I had nothing short of a positive experience. The restaurant has a great menu with a wide variety of dishes at reasonable prices, it seems to be newly renovated(with a nice, clean bathroom), it is delightfully decorated, and most importantly the food was delicious! Our waiter seemed a little awkward, but in general the staff was courteous, attentive, and I got the feeling that they enjoyed working there. All of these features I think made up for any parts of the restaurant that may need further development. Example: The music in the restaurant was somewhat quiet for the size of the room as if only 1 of the 4 speakers in the ceiling were working and there were some spelling errors in the menu(which otherwise was made with quality). Overall, I think this place is off to a good start and I would recommend you give it a try, as everyone seems to be having different experiences here. If the citizens of Irving want more good places to eat, they need to give them a little time to develop and get off of the ground.

I really wanted to like this place since we really need some good places to eat in downtown Irving but if you actually like pasta in your pasta dish, steer clear. I ordered my food to go with stuffed mushrooms as a starter and lunch lasagna to go with it. The mushrooms were very small and drowned in a sauce that tasted more like Campbell’s condensed tomato soup than what I would have expected for the price. Next the lasagna, well I am including a picture but there was no pasta to the lasagna. The picture shows what I got… 1 ½ inch edge of pasta on each side of a mix of meat and cheese(no layers) with a thick top of mozzarella cheese. Make certain you’re not lactose intolerant. Sorry Rosani but I sadly just wouldn’t go back to see you. :(

Tried with my son on a Saturday night. Nice small clean place right in the middle of downtown. The pizza was awesome!!! Many other selections on the menu from calzones to spaghetti to lasagna. Food and service were good. Definitely worth a try. Good stuff.

Not sure where a prior review stated a microwave is used to prepare food and the rolls are possibly store bought. I’ve been eating here since they opened and the food is delicious. The pizza is a real pie like in Brooklyn or Queens NY. The calimari is light and delicious with just a squeeze of lemon to add even more flavor. My go to is the eggplant parmigiana every time I dine. Big thick strips of eggplant, thick tomato sauce and tons of hot melted cheese. Simply delicious. My daughter loves the penne a la vodka and stuffed mushrooms. The owner Gino visits with the customers and is a really funny guy. If you’re from the East Coast you’ll love his directness and sense of humor. If not, just enjoy your food and realize that what your there for. Will I be back, heck ya. It’s like being back in NY for an hour very time I go.

Nice little family Italian restaurant with good pizza in old downtown Irving. They’ve really redone the space nicely, very warm and inviting.

The food was good. Pizza, and Chicken Marsala were both excellent. Speaking with the owner,(he’s from Italy) please keep in mind this establishment has been only open a few months. He was working extra hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. His wait staff is fairly new and learning at the same time. A little patience goes a long way. I will be returning in the future. Nice little place.

We had dinner tonight, sharing the pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. It was my first visit. What a great addition to downtown Irving. The service was perfect… very attentive, prompt and helpful. The food was great, the pizza was hot and the ingredients were delicious. The sausage had a wonderful flavor and the crust was nice and crisp. The spaghetti and meatballs were hot and prepared perfectly. Welcome to Irving, we’ll be back soon!

We didn’t actually even get to eat here. Is the food any good? Can anyone get past the staff? The place looks like a tiny fast food restaurant, which is confusing. The menu online indicates restaurant entrees in a mid-range price — not fast food. We walked in and were left standing around while the staff talked and pointed at us — no signage for menu or to be seated. When the staff finally responded we were then ‘asked’(could barely understand the guy, who frankly didn’t seem to give a flip if we stayed or not) if we wanted to eat outside, which was not acceptable on that evening. We were not offered any kind of interior seating even if we waited. There was a large party just getting seated but they weren’t taking up but about a third of the inside tables. Since we were only given the choice to eat outside, we left. Will be back? Not likely since they can’t seem to accommodate us for dinner in the middle of the week. The entire experience was very uncomfortable.

My co-workers and I placed a to go order at this restaurant. The girl that took the order wrote down the lunch pasta dish«Canelloni» which is $ 8 instead of the dessert order«Canoli». They charged me for my appetizer, my lunch and a 2nd lunch that I did not order. They gave me a free $ 4 Canoli and another co worker a Canolli, but they refused to remove the $ 8 lunch dish that I did not order stating that they could not resell it even though it was never ordered in the first place. Another set of co-workers planned on ordering tomorrow. I think they have changed their mind. I have never had a restaurant charge me for something that I did not order, did not want and refused to take it off my ticket. I will never eat here again and I will let everyone I know in Irving to eat here at their own risk.
