I been to the office twice. I didn’t have the best experience with Dr. Schaffer or staff.

Love this place. Clean and knowledgeble staff who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They offer reasonable prices and tons of procedures. I did the cool sculpting which lasted about an hour. They made sure I was comfortable and explained the whole precedure to me. There were no hidden costs and they explained time line for the outcome. I would highly recomend.

I came here to improve acne scars that were extremely bad. They consisted of both boxcar and ice pick scars and I’ve seen a dramatic improvement that I haven’t been able to achieve with many other procedures and different dr’s I’ve seen in the last decade. My specific treatment used was the fractoraRF. After only four treatments I’d say there has been about a 65% improvement. Will definitely continue my treatments until I reach my desired look. Also, the service was unparalleled in that anytime I had any issues or grievances, they were addressed professionally and courteously.

I wanted to have better skin and get rid of my dark spots. Wave is very professional and their staff are friendly and knowledgable. The facility is welcoming, clean and elegant. I had several treatments in the past few months and I have never looked better in my life. Since then I have recommended Wave to my friends and they have good experiences as well. The staff here work very efficiently, and they’re very nice and caring. I did my first Botox here, and it was pain free, fast, and professional. The place is clean and hygienic.

Dr Ho is the really an awesome surgeon who really cares for her patients. I looked around and did months of research. I scheduled 4 appointments for different doctors to get different opinions and recommendations. However the moment I spoke with Dr. Ho, I knew that I found the right doctor. The knowledge and expertise comes through as you speak to her. I didn’t feel pushed and felt absolutely no pressure to do anything. Some of the other doctors just ask for a deposit and wanted to schedule surgery dates without much explanation. I did my eye lid surgery 6 months ago and been very happy with my results. All my friends and family complimented how great and well rested i look without telling them about my surgery. Dr Ho took great care of me until with very end. I will come back to her for a nose job and will update my results. I highly recommend you come in for a consultation with Dr Ho.

All the nurses and consultants are very professional. They won’t pressure you into purchasing more than you want. They give you their input, but also tells you honestly whether or not a surgery will work for you. I had such a great experience here! I almost wish I lived closer. There’s almost always a doctor there to see you and the facilities are very clean. I’ve referred all my friends and family here.

I was in LA for a concert in downtown for about a week or so. My friend has place in Tustin so I was staying there with a bunch of our friends. My friend suggested we go to a place for dinner in this Irvine plaza so we went there. The plaza was pretty nice, very different from where I live. I thought we were going to a restaurant, but she wanted to visit this place for a checkup on her brows first. I honestly had no idea that she got something done on her forehead. She looked so good we decided to get something done before the concert in few days. Some got filler injections and some got botox injections. I got the fillers because I have that little concave part on my bridge that makes my nose look crooked. The nurse at Wave said it is very easy thing to fix and the injection took like 10 minutes and my nose was straight and beautiful. I mean there was some bruising, but it went away after a day. Pretty cool experience, and the deal I got was so amazing.

Had consultation in the Irvine office, very unprofessional staff member. The consultant spoke horrible English and was very business like. Glass windows all around the consulting room so all other patients can see you, doors are open so other people can hear you also, how wonderful. price range is fair. Make your own choice.

Dr. Shifren is a most exceptional doctor and person. He is honest and forthcoming and is not scared to use big words, which is nice as he has enabled me to make informed decisions. Furthermore, he never entertains my ideas that he believes are too risky. Clearly, he is not in this for the money but for the art and integrity of the practice. Initially I went to him over a year ago after experiencing a bad reaction to an under eye filler. Dr. Shifren was cautious, compassionate and kind in his approach whilst offering me realistic and accurate predictions of the outcomes as we troubleshooted my options. End of the day and a few procedures later — I do have a most annoying complication: I am not used to getting so much attention! His work took at least 10-​years off my appearance; my cheek bones are higher, my face and under eyes are filled out, and I’ve lost that goatish look that was sneaking up on me. It’s been at least 4 months now since my last procedure. Results have stabilized. Last week my hairstylist said he never saw a brow lift executed so well and that left no residual aesthetic flaws with the hair line (apparently — he’s seen his share of complications). My experience with Dr. Shifren speaks of his cautious and responsible work ethic and his practice that involves taking small and measured steps when complications are present. One’s patience in this regard, or at least mine, paid off. I am so grateful to him and his staff. Everybody there was wonderful — albeit exceedingly busy sometimes and I had to wait, but that I suppose is yet another price to pay for perfection.

I completely trust my face and body to this place. I just turned 40. I can use some help to look more youthful. I love the doctors and the whole staff in this office. They are very knowledgeable about all the procedures and products. A visit to this office makes me feel young and hott.

i met with Natasha the client rep at the Irvine office, who was very informative and accommodating. when i went to schedule my procedure, that is where things went wrong… Natasha was out of the office, so i stopped by to talk with another coordinator. Instead, the receptionist began talking to me about the procedure, and candidly what she told me totally contradicted what Natasha had told me and didnt even appear to apply to me! the day i was scheduled, Natasha called me, and after explaining my EXTREME displeasure with the girl i talked to, she walked me through things. i went ahead with my appointment ad went to the Buena Park office. i couldnt be more pleased with the service i got from the staff there. They are very caring and knowledgeable… so glad i got past the hiccup because even though it is only one day post treatment, Im very pleased with the results!

No signage, a woman crying at the front desk from pain after surgery (WTF?!), unprofessional staff running late from the incompetence and chaos.

If you have respect for your skin and yourself, I don’t recommend this place.
When I went there for my laser treatment, there was no pre-​screening procedure what so ever. They didn’t care if I were pregnant, if I was on any medications that can cause dark spots upon laser treatments (ex. antibiotics, tretinoin, etc.).
Dr. Shifren finished my treatment in less then 10 minutes and there was no detailed work what so ever. He just stamped my face here and there and called it done. After the speedy treatment, he quickly exited the room without any directions on post-​procedure care. There was absolutely no explanation of the procedure, the few questions I asked during the procedure were all answered in one word response.
It’s one of those places that treat you different before and after payment. So I do not recommend you to buy packages that they try to push you to buy. Once you purchase the package, you will be treated like a begger who goes there for free services. They will not give you the quality of service you paid for.
Also, this place was not relaxing environment at all. The whole time I was there, a receptionist was on the phone really loud in a foreign language, disturbing the whole duration of my stay at the clinic.
Lastly, you shouldn’t make your decision to go to this clinic based on all the positive reviews on this place, because they make requests to review websites to remove any negative reviews on them. This review too, might get removed sometime soon. Not sure what Unilocal’s policy is on that.

I had a great experience at Wave. Dr. Shifren is amazing at what he does! He has allowed me to feel beautiful again. I have three children and he has done wonders with my mid-​section. I’m very happy with my journey. I have and will continue to recommend wave plastic surgery to family and friends.
