TechOne Mold Inspection and Testing

TechOne was reliable and prompt finding the source of mold. Don was our inspection and he was quickly available to answer questions related to the situation. He was able to refer me to government websites for further assistance in understanding what the responsibilities of a landlord entail. The reports were thorough and Don was able to guide me thru what it all meant. Fortunately, my condo did not need remediation but TechOne had reliable and certified companies for recommendation. We had a small leak in our house, so wanted to ensure there was no mold growing as a result. Don talked me through the process extensively, was punctual for the appointment, took about the amount of time that he estimated, and overall was a pleasure to work with.

The inspector that came was prompt, and very thorough. This was my first time seeing a mold inspection, so I thought it was a very interesting process, and I appreciate that the inspector took the time to explain the process. Luckily, there wasn’t any mold at the property. It took a couple of days for the results to come back, but it’s better to wait it out rather than jumping the gun and continuing with a home purchase. I plan on using the guys at TechOne again in the future.

After the last «good» Cali rain we had, there was a leak. Called Tech One for a mold test from the recent leak. Upon calling, they were very informative of the procedure and what would take place and upfront with the cost (s). They came out did the testing, was very thorough, took pictures and spent time explaining what they did. Received the mold report which had the lab report and a report by the technician with pictures. One of the best home services I have had with no problems and went very smoothly. Tech One was very professional, accommodating to my schedule and the mold report was very detailed! Will use them again if we need home or mold inspections and would highly recommend using their services.

This home inspection was the best of the 3 homes I have purchased and the guys at TechOne helped tremendously. The tools they had every tool you could think of on there truck. I ending up adding the sewer line inspection and boy was I glad that I did. The sewer line was cracked due to a nearby tree roots. This would have cost me a ton of money for the repair if I had not found it during the inspection by adding the sewer line inspection at the last minute. I know I am picky, but that just means when I find something I finally commit to, I know I would be happy with my decision. When I look at houses I have a lists of must-​haves, would-​be-​nice and deal-​breakers. After months and months of searching I found one that could be «the one!!»
I was so smitten by this 2 story, 3 bedroom, 3 bath that I was at risk for moving too fast! This is where TechOne comes in. They are a home inspection company with the latest technology to thoroughly inspect your homes for things that are not as obvious to the human eye. I can only see if it’s cute or not, but I’ll leave it to the pros to tell me the fancy stuff.
My friend gave me their business card and I went onto the website. I definitely trust my friend, but it was nice to see that they had a bunch of certifications listed on their website too. I requested a free quote and I was immediately contacted by one of their Senior Home Inspectors. Thomas was very professional and knowledgeable while explaining the process to me. The price was reasonable too!
On the day of the inspection, Thomas came with his fancy home inspection stuff and he was nice enough to let me take pictures when I asked him too! He was a really friendly charismatic guy! After I was done snapping my pictures, I stepped aside for him to do real work!
They use a InterNACHI Home Inspection report checklist and they inspected the roof, the exteriors, the basement/​foundation/​crawlspace/​structure, heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical. Some of their fancy tools like the drone can easily inspect the roof and this other flexible tool that has a camera allows you to look into the plumbing. Thomas was very quick and it took him about 2 hours of very efficient time usage.
I am so grateful I had this home checked out because it was definitely not what I thought it would be. So many hidden problems that it wasn’t even worth negotiating to the seller for a lower price. TechOne saved me tens of thousands in repairs because committing to a «pretty eye-​candy house» with hidden baggage can lead to a lifetime of regret. I have already recommended TechOne to some of my clients and I will definitely contact them again before going-​all-​the-​way with any house purchase.
