I loved Stephanie. She did a great color on my hair. I have been searching for a hairstylist in OC and I think I have found her.

Stephanie did an awesome job on my hair! I’ve now been to her three times and each time have left very happy! Not only did she do a great job with my cut and color, but she is so personable and bubbly so you feel like you are sitting and chatting with a friend the whole time you are there! Stephanie did an amazing job on my very hard to color hair! I’ve had so many problems with my hair turning red and brassy when I get my color done. Stephanie attentively listened to what I’ve had done in the past, good and bad, and knew exactly what to do. My color came out perfect the first time with no need for toners. She also dried and styled it perfectly, leaving it soft and shiny. I highly recommend her and am so happy to have found her!

I had a wonderful experience with Stephanie. I had moved down from LA and after one really bad haircut in OC, I didn’t know how to find someone new. I hadn’t had my hair done since March. Yikes
I found out about Stephanie here on Unilocal!Checked out her website; contacted her. She was responsive, able to fit me in and price was great. I am really happy with my hair — it’s amazing how much keeping one’s hair looking good does for the self-​esteem! She offered me tips for the look but also listened to what I was looking for. I got partial highlights and a cut.

I needed pink hair, so I searched pravana’s website and found Stephanie. Not only did she squeeze me in, she worked with my crazy schedule and time frame. I now have gorgeous wild orchid in the hair. Love that she got my vision and made it all happen. She is also a pro at blow drying, which is important when you have crazy thick hair like I do.

Wonderful service! I had full highlights and Stephanie understood exactly what I wanted, she talked and explained different options, I got a fabulous haircut and am getting compliments. She was punctual in our appointment, very courteous and careful, the music of the salon just made the whole experience a pleasure!

First timer at The Refinery with Stephanie, and I walked out very pleased with the entire experience and of course with my hair. I had been contemplating for over a year on getting the Keratin treatment. Can I just say… WHY DIDN’T I DO THIS SOONER??? Stephanie did an amazing job. She got as close to my roots as possible without burning me. She took the time to really get the treatment in. I chose to get a hair cut as well and I really love the way she styled my layers. The keratin treatment works and I could not be happier with my results. I will be returning when I am due for another cut, and of course another treatment. The salon was also very clean, staff friendly and Stephanie was very accommodating with offering a beverage and making sure I was comfortable. Happy HaPpY HAPPY!

I am new to the Irvine area and took a chance after finding Stephanie on Unilocal.What a great find it was! I am so happy with my color and haircut! She was not only super nice, she really listened to what I wanted and discussed what would and wouldn’t work for my hair. I would recommend her highly! The Refinery is a very nice, relaxed salon and you can tell the stylists enjoy working together.

I have been going to Stephanie for a couple of years. I was super nervous because I have had some horrible experience with other stylists and had been coloring my own hair with good results. Stephanie is basically a genius when it comes to hair color. I leave with perfect golden-​brown hair that lasts until my next visit. Her cuts are always what I ask for and last a long time. Even 2 months later my hair looks defined. I’m kind of addicted.

I had a great experience with Stephanie, especially considering that I hadn’t had my hair done professionally in 10+ years because of bad experiences. She gave me exactly the highlights I wanted and listened carefully to my (numerous) concerns. I also really appreciate the discounts she offers. I will come back and will recommend her to others! :)

I switched hairdressers about a year ago. It was the BEST thing that could have happened! Stephanie is AWESOME! I love my hair more than ever now. She always gives me a great cut and color. HIGHLY recommend!!!

I got my hair cut and colored by Stephanie a few weeks ago. I love it! Making an appointment was easy. She was able to get me in within a week just like I needed. We started the appointment by talking about what I wanted from my color. I needed my grays covered up, but I also got some fun highlights.
My hair is thick and wavy and Stephanie gave me a great layered cut. I’m still loving my hair every day! I’ll definitely be coming back.

I recently relocated to SoCal from Chicago and was nervous about finding a new stylist. Come on, ladies — you know what I mean, right? I was so attached to my previous stylist in Chicago and put off finding a new one for as long as I could. Finally I couldn’t stand it anymore. I had begun swimming laps and my hair was a disaster. I found Stephanie through Unilocal and thought I would give her a try. Boy, am I glad I ever did! She immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. Stephanie took the time to get to know me and what I wanted for my hair. She did an expert cut and color. I absolutely love my «new Cali girl» look! I have no reason to look elsewhere. Kudos to Stephanie for a job well done!

I think I may have found my new stylist in Orange County! Stephanie is fantastic! She styled my hair at the last minute and was so personable and friendly! My hair turned out great, and I will definitely be back!!!

Stephanie did my hair for my wedding and I couldn’t have been happier with it. I am extremely picky with my hair and was worried no one would be able to capture what I wanted. I gave her a picture and she not only captured it, but I personally think it looked better than the picture she copied it from! It stayed in place all day too, through dancing, pictures, the heat. At the end of the day, it looked just like it did when she first did it!

It’s very hard for me to trust just anybody to cut my hair. I have had way too many bad experiences over the years. My cousin in San Diego usually does my hair, but since I live in OC, it’s hard for me to get down there as often as I should.
Stephanie made me feel comfortable from the second I walked in the door. She gave me a great consultation and already knew exactly what I wanted from the little I had told her before I even took my hair out of my bun. The wash, the deep conditioning treatment, the wine, the cut, the style… everything was more than I had imagined it would be. I am very impressed!
I am definitely going back!!!
