The woman with red hair has a terrible attitude. She is an eye sore on the usual upbeat and friendly staff at the Marriott. Sorry I don’t know her name but after two bad experiences I don’t want to know her name either.

This Starbucks is usually pretty packed in the mornings and the service is okay. They seem to always be in such a rush because there’s always so many people that come here. They say that if you work in the Irvine towers or Von Karmen towers you get a 20% discount however they bump up the prices already, so its not much of a discount. I prefer specialty’s or Peet’s.

I favor Peet’s, but once in a while I’ll go to Starbucks. This location is located inside the Irvine Marriott. Beware the long lines (7AM to 9AM??). I get mine before 6AM, if I come here, usually. They have all the fixings and food of a regular Starbucks and make the coffee good. The baristas have been there a long time for the most part (one year plus) and know what they’re doing. The prices are a bit higher since it’s inside Marriott and you cannot use your free rewards points here (if you have a Starbucks Gold account). However, it’s as good of a Starbucks as any. Four stars.

Working at the Irvine towers makes this Starbucks so convenient considering its right next door to us located inside the Irvine Marriott. I love Starbucks and I love the employees at this Starbucks just as much as I love my coffee that’s saying a lot! Local discount is $ 1.95 off your order. It’s hot or miss with this line but if you have the time it’s worth the wait. This Starbucks is fantastic. I’m always satisfied. great job crew keep up the work:)

This starbucks is ALWAYS extremely slow, even if there are only a few cars in the drive thru. Today there was someone clueless giving out the drinks at the window!!! It took her forever, no wonder it took a long time in the drive thru line!

This Starbucks is only good in a pinch or if you are staying at the Marriott in Irvine.
I found myself in dire need of caffeine at the office and this was the closest Starbucks according to Google. Most importantly: it is literally inside of the Marriott, there is no signage. As you walk into the lobby you will be able to find it by the gigantic Congo line that snakes towards the point of sale kiosk. Within about 10 minutes you will finally order and the employees will create your drink with the care of a penniless crackhead out of rock. You will then walk out with lukewarm coffee and be upset that you still have a metrics report due and mediocre coffee to enjoy while doing it.
There is a Peet’s within the adjacent tower, go there.

Coffee is always on point. Great service and quick turn around time. The cashier spelled my name correctly; however, the barista called me Jessica. I can’t complain, it was close enough.

VERY busy in the mornings. Avoid at cost in the morning. overall nothing special except that it is inside a Marriott hotel. Stayed at the Marriott on a business trip and before my meeting, I went to get my morning coffee which was a bad idea. Next time go to another starbucks!

This place is hell in the mornings. So busy that they always mess up your order. I understand that happens sometimes but when the manager doesnt acknowledge? Then thats not ok! No one even said sorry.

Located inside the Marriott Hotel, this starbucks can get super super busy depending on when you do go. You get a discount if you work around the area (luckily I do). The staff is diligent and extremely courteous. The drinks tastes the same, as they should at every Starbucks location. The décor is marvelous due to it being inside the hotel.
Despite it being extremely busy at times, I never had to wait longer than 10 minutes which isn’t that bad considering the clientele that arrive at this location.
PS business hotties so you already know Im there constantly lol

I was staying at the Marriott and came to this Starbucks everyday. Incredibly friendly baristas. I was in town to house-​hunt and the barista spoke to me about various neighborhoods and gave me advice etc. i have to say my drink and pastry was always perfect (as I would get from most other Starbucks). Great experience overall.

When I first started working in the area I thought it was convenient to have a Starbucks so close to my work but I’ve definately been to better Starbucks. The Customer Service is mediocre, nothing special. And every time I get a craving for Starbucks, I’m let down. Everytime I walk in here I have to change my order because they’re out of practically everything. Today I wanted a skinny vanilla latte the barista informed me they’re out of anything skinny, so I change to White chocolate mocha, turns out the espresso machine is broken. Fine, I got a tea and then it was the same story with the breakfast sandwhich I wanted, they were out of everything except for the ham and cheddar. Definately not worth the frustration. If you have a choice go to Specialty’s for coffee or another Starbucks.

Because this Starbucks is located inside a Marriott Hotel, the prices are higher so make sure you tell them if you work in the business plaza. The service is friendly and very fast and being a hotel reception area, the general environment is nice and designed comfortably.

This Starbucks is actually located on the first floor of the Marriott hotel. Unless your staying here as a guest you will never notice it. Great place to grab some coffee before class or a meeting (for the working business peeps, Pepperdine and USC students). Remember to show the Barista your Student ID because you can get 10% off your drink purchase. There’s some comfy lounge chairs inside so you can sit, study, and chill.
