get the California turkey pannini on foccacia, its awesome, guys are always friendly and have a clean nice setup. breakfast burrito could be better, its litterally ALL scrambled eggs. But place is cheap and convenient. I approve.

Love this little spot!!! Right near my office. Ordered a Philly cheese steak the last few times and it was DELISH! Amazing fries as well. Can’t wait to try more of the menu. Owner is very friendly and love that they have a frequent meal card (buy 9 get one free) every little bit helps.

Quick, breakfast and lunch place nearby. Decent fries and sandwiches. Hummus was pretty good. They have everything. While not great, the service and food are good.

First off I don’t know how they got 5 stars.
Anyway, so I had the California avocado sandwich. I was first gonna go to jersey mike, but I figured I give this place a shot since it’s so close to work, and come on you can’t go wrong with a sandwich. Well I guess you can. The bread was so bland. Taste as if it didn’t bake all the way so kinda chewy. But really the whole thing tasted bland. And for the price I would have expected better. Guess next time I’ll make the drive to jersey mike where I know they won’t mess up a turkey sandwich.

To start off, the food is ridiculously over-​priced for the quality. Over $ 8 for a basic salad that isn’t even fresh? I’ll pass. One time i ordered fajitaS for pick-​up, and they gave me ONE small tortilla, that was wet and not wrapped. I thought fajitas was plural? Not to mention the owner leaves out his baked goods to go stale on the counter. He also scolds his workers in front of customers. To top it off, they can’t seem to listen when you give special orders. If I had allergies, this would make me very nervous! The only reason they get one star is because the owner tries very hard to make the guests feel welcome.
Tips to the owner:
— If you are having taste/​quality of food issues, you may want to hire a new chef or train your current one.
— Downsize the menu.
— If you don’t change the food, at least lower your prices.

My question is how, the heck do you mess up a cheeseburger!
So what can I say about a place such as this?
Honestly stay away, I mean do yourself a favor and stay away.
So lets talk about what happened when I walked in, at first when I walked in, it was very nice.
I mean the décor is updated and I got a good vide walking in, so I’m like fu&k ya, cool new spot to have lunch near my job. So I walk up and look up at the menu and I am BLOWN away. I mean there were food choices from across the globe! This does not fall in line with «Bistro» type of a place. Sure it was small place but the menu was way too much and confusing. It kind of reminded me of those places where you can get a Burger and Greek. Honestly how can a place offer any good food if there selection from a particular type of a place. How am I supposed to know what is good! I don’t walk into a taco joint and say, «Um let me have the Veggie Salad». So honestly it took me a minute and I was worried that anything I ordered may not be any good. So I told myself, order a cheeseburger and play it safe. So the cheeseburger with fries and a drink came out to $ 11!!! WHAT!!! So I am like, okay relax, you are paying for convince since they are near your job and you are about to get a bomb ass cheeseburger. So I sit and wait… And I wait… Wait… wait… But it doesn’t bother me cause good food is worth the wait.
And the it happened, yes it happened… I get something called a burger.
First of all a cheeseburger comes with condiments… Sure it had a bun, lettuce, pickle, tomato, onion, and meat/​cheese, but um where was the ketchup? Mustard? Special sauce? Mayo? NO WHERE!!! And they didn’t have any of these condiments near by and the only thing I could find was ketchup for my fries… So I let it pass and bite!!!
First of all the top bum was cooled and tasted all and the bottom bum was soggy and fell apart. The burger had an odd taste and honestly either the meat was old or where they cooked was dirty but it tasted AWFUL!!!
I will never come back here. And people some of these reviews on Unilocal for this place seem suspect to me and I am going to report them…

This place has gone through a huge improvement since under new management a couple of months ago. The quality and variety of the food is above and beyond your regular office lunch/​breakfast café. Their lunch specials are a great deal, and the pancakes are amazing! They’re worth a small detour for sure!

Just ate here with my dad. He ordered the Lamb Gyro, he said he love it! I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and it was DELICIOUS! I’d come here again to eat for lunch anytime. Its well worth the money. My dad spent about $ 20 on our meal today. The owner is very friendly. And the chef magically knew how I like my French Fries: D Thank you!

I wish I could give 10 stars to this place, they have the best pancakes, my wife and I used to go to this place when it was in Newport beach just for the pancakes.

Ordered a chicken gyro accompanied with a Greek salad… The gyro was weak– very little meat and vegetables. The Greek salad was obviously a packaged lettuce mix with added feta cheese, cucumber and some olives. Overall disappointed in this new lunch place. Their menu pictures and actual food does not match.
A co worker ate their last week and ordered fajitas– very little chicken and no cheese.
I heard the best item is their combo burger for about $ 5
I will give them a chance but there needs to be improvements
