Ok spot to just grab something quick. A lot of their business is simply by default because of the parking situation no one can really go anywhere. So people come down there to eat. The food is hit or miss here. The salads are probably your best bet and are really good and some of the cold sandwiches. A few good warm dishes like the meatloaf and veggie burger, etc are not bad either. Unfortunately as mentioned in another post the staff can be moody at times along with the consistency of the food. But on a bright note they always have plenty of cold drinks. Which is nice. Enjoy!

Some food is ok, must of the food is too oily. Prices are high for the quality of food! The only good thing is the location. Customer Service is extremely Rude, specially from the son’s owner. This man is very Rude. He think he is entitle to treat customers bad, only because his dad own the café. I also noticed the bad way they treat employees. Labor Department needs to get in there. When I started going there for lunch I was advise by others to be aware of the bad customer service but I didn’t experienced before that. Now! I completely understand the bad comments. That’s why a lot of people are not eating there. They are loosing business because of their poor customer service. When you are in that industry, customers come first! You don’t want to create a bad reputation and destroy your own business. Be aware and don’t eat there!

Great rib eye sandwich for lunch yesterday! Tender and so tasty on that soft sourdough bun. Excellent soups here too! This place is between TWENTYEIGHT and the new Google bldg. Don’t need an employee badge for lunch time. Awesome customer service! Staff is friendly and professional.

Decent place for burgers and salads at a ridiculous price tho. The burgers are fresh but the salads, not so much. Their french fries are definitely worth it.

They are a bit pricey. I pay over $ 9 for a spinach salad with chicken. Its not great. I can get a better chicken salad elsewhere but I am paying for the convenience rather than the quality. I can’t say the food is great but if I am in a rush, it takes me less than 15 minutes to walk from my office, get food, and head back.

The café was very clean, and had fresh baked cookies in the oven, so it smelled great. Everything looked good, but I got the roast beef sandwich with fresh sourdough bread. It was delicious, and the roast beef was very tender, and plenty of it. I actually had half as it was so filling, and will have the other half for a late snack. It came with a home made cole slaw that was wonderful, with big apple chunks. Staff was very friendly, and check out quick and easy. Prices were very good. Highly recommend!

Had a pulled-pork sandwich with blue cheese crumbles that was incredible. Great service, lots of smiles & everything on the menu looked delicious.

Overpriced mediocre food. Honestly, I would rather not waste my time even eating there. They are highly inconsistent and the quality of the food is average. Nothing special here; as a matter of fact, I cannot wait until twenty-eight opens next door. You are better off making the lunch at home and bringing it yourself. The cashier, Sherry is very slow and does not demonstrate effective customer service. As a matter of fact, she has over charged me several times even when I am purchasing the same item as my coworkers. Also, there have been several moments when I’m checking out and she answers the phone only to ignore me completely and place an order over the phone rather than put them on hold. Greg, the owner, also offended my coworker by asking her if she was going to work off the cookie she purchased. The soups will give you high blood pressure due to their high sodium contents. The grilled cheese was good at first, but it was somewhat disgusting when my coworkers bought it other times. The cheese tasted rancid or just not good anymore. The chili was good at first as it was beef; but I just don’t know what happened…

Open for breakfast and lunch, they serve a wonderful verity of fresh baked muffins, stuffed croissants and other yummie items served each day. I highly recommend the restaurant quality Frisco styled hamburger on a grilled parmesan sourdough and your choice of cheese slices, I personally add to mine bacon, and avocado(just as good as Claim jumper/Mimi café) The soups of the day is a must to have, my favorites are the southwestern corn chowder and albondigas–(mexcan meat ball soup) Daily specials change each day, but note worthy past dishes — BQQ baby back ribs, stuffed chicken breast with Gouda cheese, grilled salmon with hoisin glaze, just to name a few For those looking for something light healthy the yogurt parfait with raspberries/blueberries is another favorite of mine, they also have a nice selection of salads and vegetarian items The grill is open from 7am to 3pm —(Located inside the Impac office tower 1st floor)
